Protip for anyone with a bambu (or other printer that supports step files) export as a step file and use that to print from. Step files use actual curves rather than approximating curves with polygons, so you end up with smoother curves on printers that support it.
Hmm, good tip, I want to try testing that out
Great job. Thank you for making this available for free. Safety first and third. And as always the presentation is on point.
Been using the magnet version for a while now and never had any issues but - this looks great. You're an absolute saint for making these.
For those in need of a drill, Hardware stores always have specials and combos for Father's Day and 4th of July. At least for us Americans 😅
Man, this is a nice system. I wish I knew F360 enough to do this. I use Blender and it works, but going back to edit parameters is almost impossible in vanilla.
Updating parameters and exporting STLs is as easy as shown in this video. Modelling though now that will take some tutorials and some practice 😁
Its like you knew that I just got around to installing the V2 on my printer. A vent on my resin printer has been a game changer.
Upgrade time! 😅
You are an absolute life saver, I'm planning on getting my first resin printer soon; this is gonna be indispensable!
This is exactly what I needed! Great addition, thanks
This is my first time hearing about this. It is awesome!!!
A magnet under the lock face or at the end of travel on the perpendicular face would be neat for overkill security or for those who have leftover magnets
Honestly it would be overkill. This system holds amazingly well, give it a go!
I almost wish I didn't use a tent enclosure just so I could use this, such a cool design.
It's compatible with any tent/box/enclosure with a little work!
Dude.... this is awesome. Thank you for the f3d files, now I can play around with turning the vent cap into a Chaos Star, or Khorne symbol. #BloodfortheBloodGod #SkullsforthethroneofKhorne
This a great option, however, my preference is that the entire setup from start to finish be tented and exhausted. Fumes come off during the entire process right until you take your cured minis out of your wash and cure. Not to mention things like IPA gas out the entire time your bucket is open.
This is awesome! Thanks very much for doing this! Is there a version of this that fits over the Bambu P1S exhaust fan?
Awesome!
Any idea how to set this up for a window that swings open instead of lifting up?
That's the main reason I don't have this yet
Hmm.. you can buy window AC kits, I've also seen people install clear acrylic panel over their window to good effect, but yeah unfortunately there's not as easy and elegant a solution here..
I have windows that swing open and I cut a piece of plywood to size and replaced the screen with the panel. It's cut to be a friction fit and I have some masking tape around the edges. I also installed a screen over the outlet hole. It looks a little ghetto, but it works. You could probably do the same with a piece of acrylic if you care about looks.
Just as I am finishing up my V2 :'D
You should upload it to printables!
Sorry in advance for my bad english! From what I see the connection points are flat and after time and countless interactions, there can be a small gap where fumes can go through. Wouldn`t it be smart to create an inner ring on the device side that stands out a little and on the hose side the counterpart. This way you have something like a round guiding which also helps centering while connecting and a better connection where fumes can not get out. Maybe I overthink this but at least in my head it makes sense.
Honestly the inline fan is sucking up so much air that any fumes in and around the printer can only go in one direction, and that's into the hose!
Good afternoon Mr Sixside. Did you manage to get the new scraper I told you about? The exact model name of the one I was thinking of is a Stanley 28-590, I got myself one a couple of weeks ago and it works awesome for getting prints off!
Not yet! It's on my to-do list 😁
Amazing design! does this V3 version have the adapter for the Halot mage?
thank you!
The adapter for the Halot mage is compatible with V3 :) Just use v2 bolt_offset paramter to get a perfect fit
@@OnceinaSixSide Ah i see, so i need to print the adapter for the Halot mage and screw the V3 to the adapter using the V2 bolt_offset to fit the screws?
any chance for an obj or step. makes manipulating in solidworks a lot easier.
Just export what you need from the f3d file 🤘
Stupid question- could you print these in resin or does it have to be FDM ?
You absolutely could! I dunno if it would be ideal though due to resin warp. Might take some trial and error!
Do you have a attachment for this modeled for the Saturn 4
Yep, check Makerworld
Cough... Update your Uniformation GKTwo adapter to match this.. Cough.. ❤
It already fits 🥳 (use the v2 bolt_offset value)
Did you have to resize it when you put it on the Saturn 4? I preordered the ultra and wanted to know if it would work seamlessly.
Here you go :)

@@OnceinaSixSide Sick thanks a ton man!
Good thing I checked the comments ! Thanks!
How difficult would this be to make to where you can put this on top of an 80mm fan?
It shouldn't be too complicated. If you make something to hold the fan that has bolt holes that line up with the coupling it should work. Might make for a fun little modeling project!
U should sell this parts for people who doesn't have fdm printers to make some money
Honestly running a print farm isn't something I'm particularly interested in just yet, but I would be open to it in the future if I could afford to setup a dedicated space for it, and convince my girlfriend to run it maybe haha
@@OnceinaSixSide well, if u change your mind, i do have some experience with fdm and would like to help u with all the intel i could, no charges
