DesertFox Airsoft is an Airsoft RUclips channel dedicated to promoting the safe, fun and unique game of airsoft. OP is observation post. Just a known area where you have a clear view of the area surrounding it. Known area meaning both the Observer, FDC, and Gun line know where said observer (you) are.

LP/OP, Listening Post are usually out at night, hense the Listening. Observation Post are usually out durning the day, hense Observation.
No. They’re both out during day and night. You can still observe at night using NODs and you can still listen during the day because you hear people before you see them if there’s undulating terrain involved

Is digital night vision viable for milsim west? Also good job on the content both your shorts and normal videos are awesome!
There will be night missions you need to sign up for and have nvg usually at these. If you don't, you kinda can't or you get hurt so it's game off at night sorta.
Current digital night vision will be struggling against analog devices. Only way to get digital worth anything is to spend nearly as much as you'd pay for analog NV anyway. It might be doable, but you'll be fighting uphill for sure

Ranger battalions and ODAs have been indispensable during the GWOT and will continue to be in the future. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. There is only one “army special forces” that would be the green berets. The rest are SOF units or SMU.
