- The capability of effectively leading others is a hard skill to learn. Leaders are expected to provide direction, guidance, and priorities to their subordinates. All while under the stress of battle and the scrutiny of others.

DesertFox Airsoft is an Airsoft RUclips channel dedicated to promoting the safe, fun and unique game of airsoft. Airsoft is a military simulation sport where players participate in mock battles with replica guns and use military type tactics. Unlike paintball, airsoft uses 6mm round BBs made of hard plastic. "Everyone needs to get down" proceeds to continue to stay in a high crouch.
You a scout?
What was said: "Everyone needs to halt and get down". What I heard: "Stop moving and get in the prone". What the team heard: "Kneel in a five-meter radius circle in the highest possible kneeling position while jimmy goes and does his own thing."

This hit me right in the feels. 🤣
I may be infantry and the us gov has spent hundreds of thousands on my trading and equipment; but don't forget I am the best damn floor buffer there be.

From where I live, even when the player on the other side of the team sleeping the other team can attack them at midnight. Regardless what they're doing, if there's not a cease fire/break time that agreed from both teams It's allowed to attack even when they're eating.
when we invaded normandy, the nazis literally said it was 'unethical' how hard we were fighitng.
poor nazis, some of them didn’t even want to be a nazi :/
More like "you guys are out of bounds, you can't be shooting us from there"
Germans were always very picky about how other armies fought
Reminds me of this kid in preschool who would try to call a timeout every time he was almost touched during a game of tag...
My friends had a rule where if the person who was it was within about 10 feet of you you couldn’t call a time out or you were automatically it
I’d always say your it after your done on time out

This is exactly what I was thinking. I was expecting someone to straight karen their lungs out lmao
That happened to some U.S troops on d-day
Late comment but two of those guys play at my local field here in Oregon... they're just as bitchy and obnoxious at skirmish games.
Russian forces only sleep when needed. No sleep while fight. First fight. Then, if you lucky, sleep.
My biggest gripe when leading a squad is closing the distance and everyone staying back thinking their AEGs can shoot from miles away.
The problem with AEG is that they CAN shoot miles away and they have 300 round magazines
The biggest problem with AEG is that they sound like children's toys
BAN AEG FROM MILSIM
@@ChaosBW Well shimming kinda helps with making them sound more intimidating
@@ChaosBW How the fuck should i play without an aeg if that's the only thing i have tho
@@ChaosBW Or just enforce a Lo-cap or mid-cap restriction. Milsim organisers would be stupid to ban AEGs as they make up such a large proportion of guns on the field. Good way to lose customers. AEGs can have a good range just like literally every other airsoft weapon platform as long as you tune them properly.
@I.Am. Abd you for real dude? Lololololol
Literally the bottom of the barrel as far as airsoft goes. Constantly needing maintenance. Even AEG's are more reliable.

Only airsofters will complain about getting shot at during a “40 hour non stop milsim”. Like bruh, unless it’s a medical emergency, the game doesn’t stop bc you wanna eat a snack 😒
I think their complaint was more about the attack coming from out of bounds. I think it is just poor planning from whoever set up the boundaries. Choosing to sleep and eat in a little corner where you can only be approached from one general direction is smart. That is what you do IRL, taking advantage of the terrain to funnel your opposition for early warning.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj Yeah its more about the people who designed the no-go zones stupidly. They did what they could, like if you had to sleep/rest, youd do it in a cave preferably that has only one entrance. If that zone would have been round, this thing wouldnt have happened.
@Kermit The Frog so true lol I play airsoft and everyone complains and rages for no reason

OK I’m guessing that you’re in the army so the thing about the army and real guns they kill so everyone’s on high alert thing about airsoft is there a little baby bbs So everybody’s on the roller
You'd think people in the hobby would be enthusiastic.. This looks as if they just took a bunch randoms from the parking lot in front of the nearest walmart ant tried to force them to enjoy milsim..
Just like in military shooters, people are so unenthusiastic and boring. I love a good interactive leader who engages with others but damn other players can ruin a whole experience real fast.

We ran into a similar situation in Surge on the Steppes. Rusfor were doing "trainings" after we handed their ass to them the night before. My squad was running recon and found 30 of them with their guard down, though we were told that we couldn't shoot them which almost compromised our objective. Developer Snows Yea. Well, it’s a little hard to sprint with 30+ lbs of gear and 3 hours sleep. That coupled with the fear factor of running into an enemy base (albeit unguarded and everyone was sleeping smh). Sure. It’s Airsoft. But MSW has your brain constantly second guessing everything. Is it real? No……? No it’s not real. Maybe. It’s a weird mind game. So much fun tho.

I love how you pointed it out for them to spread out. In a real life scenario one explosive and the could've gotten half the squad
From what I can tell Airsoft is 10% fighting, 30% cheating and 60% bickering during/after a gun fight.
Tinface87 Nah. That’s just small fields lol. MSW is a looooott better

Airsoft like this has perennial to be amazing but their response is what makes it so bad, that and the fact that they didn’t follow orders. I’m just glad there wasn’t a fistfight like most games

Its fun to see these things in Airsoft. I'm just going into my Army ROTC program and we just learned these formations and tactics so its really cool to see it used in the field like this.
Im surprised people didn't know he was in the military, maybe some of us have been here longer lol
That’s what I was thinking, gotta be new to not know. In that case it’s good to see him getting a bunch of new viewers!
@@archangel2268 New generation of airsoft players. It's a good thing too as it keeps this stuff alive. Most of the guys who were into airsoft in 2010 moved to firearms. you meet people in fields who act like they're navy seals and won't shut up about how every mistake the newbies make ruined their experience, meanwhile this absolute chad of an actual vet is still giving his 200% with a squad who act like a bunch of lazy high schoolers in p.e. class and an opponent as responsive as my mother's laptop trying to run minecraft.
Great covering of details that many might not know or be aware of just bc they haven't served or played milsim events yet. It adds more depth as to the major difference btw regular games and well put together milsim events and why some might like one as opposed to the other more.
8:33 imagine if war was actually like this lmao.
This whole fence boundary reminds me of a story my dad told me when he was in Airforce and they were doing war games with the rest of NATO. So essentially they found some fence that wasn't on the map. So my dad was leading his guys and was like "Well if you aren't cheating you aren't playing" and so they decided to just cut the fence and go through. Later turns out the fence was part of a cattle ranch. The goal of either team was to capture a flag btw. He also decided to have his men wrap razor wire around the entire flag base and the other team kept getting caught up on it. It was a pretty funny story.
