Best way to skate Jerome Banks is with simple tricks and loads of powerslides. Helps to turn your powerslide friction all the way up just for this map.
The Highline is an old elevated train track that runs up the west side of Manhattan. It was abandoned for years although the locals all knew where the secret entrances were. The city converted it into a public promenade and it looks a lot like the Session map irl, same benches and rails and whatnot although it’s definitely not 1 to 1.
I absolutely love highline bridge. So many interesting spots to hit all crammed into one loooong map. Some of the best ledges and rails in the game in my opinion
Yea whenever I feel like doing a bunche of long grinds I go there. But I def need to check it out at night because I love playing San Francisco at during sunset.
I do if I'm trying something and I get a solid bail animation. That way when I'm putting footage together I can have a quick cut of the slam before the make.
Just uplouded my first good Session Skate lines. Played 15 times for 30-45min, total 10h. Lmk what you think🤘🏻i came from riders R so it was really hard to get something going in this game but i didnt gave up! I skate in real life as well and this is the best game/sim ever. I love your content! it was a big Motivation
@@itspigeonthief I think if you’re looking downhill, it’s on the roof of the last building on the right, but it only appears when you’re in close proximity to it.
i think i got a nice little line on Jerome Banks actually - it's been a while but i just made the video visible [was unlisted all the time].. it's one of the 2 visible videos on my channel (not the flight sim one of course).. alternating between left/right bank helps a lot with managing the speed, but yea it took me quite a while to get it done (3 banks taken so still not the entire thing).
The real high line isn’t on street level you have to go up stairs. That being said I wish they had it connected 😢 also they didn’t connect Brooklyn banks with blubba and they are two blocks from each other 😂

Yo! What’s the grind settings, for some reason I can just roll up to the ledge and grind it like that without a pop or moving sticks? Please help a skater out 😢😂
You have to ride over the start of ledge a little first before you put in the grind input. If you do it too early you’ll just stop, so work on timing the input a little later over the ledge/curb whatever and you’ll lock in!

Off topic but u got me to buy Riders Republic and ive been loving it the past month pretty much just use it for the skating but i feel like it’s almost the perfect mix between realistic n unrealistic, I feel they would greatly benefit from adding gravity settings and new skating spots. Would love to see another Riders Republic video just skating in zen mode n talkin bout whatever.

The Jerome banks is impressive in real life due to the risk to be fair, makes sense it didn’t translate well to a map in a way
I still hit Jerome weekly. I go for stuff. Sometimes I'm surprised. The pole jam on the right has been magical

It’s a fun game and the skating is quite satisfying. I may play more in the future but I’d love to see some more skate content added to it!
