Its funny how its always "I hate Dazai because he abused Akutagawa" but never "i hate Akutagawa because he abused Kyouka". Akutagawa was even worst, after all, Kyouka didn't want to be in the mafia, didn't wanted to kill anybody and couldn't control her hability. Akutagawa was also an adult when he abused her. I'm not trying to lessen Dazai's guilt. What Dazai did was horrible and disgusting. All the children in that circle were victims. Victims who deserved to be saved despite their actions. Akutagawa and Dazai only knew violence as a form of teaching and in the Mafia, it was the only way, after all, if you weren't used to violent dynamics, you would suffer even more.

The thing is, it's easier to ignore Akutagawa's abuse towards Kyouka, simply due to the fact that it's dwelled on less in the anime. By which i mean, we don't get as many scenes depicting the abuse between them, as we do with the abuse between Dazai and Akutagawa. Since it's shown less, the fandom doesn't think of it as much as they do with Dazai.

I also love how close to cannon they are, the fact they’re so forgiving of Chuuya because they know him and see Dazai as some villian because they don’t know him.. lord their so black and white. Uhmmm .. I don’t know. Personally I think that the difference is stated by their attitude after changing the sides for the better. Bakugou after changing didn’t reopen any of the wounds he inflicted but dazai did ;every single moment he got. Well their can be talks about how different there childhood was and not but we are to compare them I think that’s what makes Baku eligible for saying that. Even though I definitely agree with everything you've said, I'm pretty sure that since they believe Chuuya to be a good person they're automatically assuming that he was forced to be a bad person and is therefore exempt from consequences (he WAS manipulated into joining the mafia but my guy was still out here killing people when still in the Sheep). It's a lot easier to view someone as nothing more than a "villain" when all you know about them is that they've done bad things (Dazai), but villains are people, too. I don't say that excuses anything, of course, rather the opposite. Criminals are people. They can care about their family and really like knitting but none of that makes them not a bad person, it just makes them human, and the MHA cast have always kind of danced around that, because those things CAN coexist. The black and white "hero vs villain" conflict is so frustrating because it's always coming from a place of "we have to fight them" instead of "we have to save them." Not everyone can be saved, but those who are somehow never get labeled as "true" villains because apparently people forget that redemption and rehabilitation exists. It's always "oh, but they were never a REAL villain in the first place!" which is what I think they're applying to Chuuya. But absolutely, it is not their place to pick and choose who deserves help!!! Y'all are teenagers who should NOT be deciding peoples' fates like this.
Honestly the MHA world is so fucking corrupt, the heroes are terrible people sometimes but they don't fucking question any of that because of their black and white moral system saying that heroes are right and villains are irredeemable. Hell the only little sliver of light shone on this premise is Endeavor and how horrible he was to his family.

I loved this reaction! They actually interacted and tried to come to a conclusion together, rather than staying in their own world and just saying "i dont think anyone else noticed". They actually pointed out the small details! The dialogue was basically always in character. And, they reacted to even the slightest change in scenes. They remembered videos they watched in the past, so they could come to a correct conclusion. And i won't even start on the designs. I could ramble on for days about how perfect they are! honestly? i wanted to tell them that chuuya was gonna be harder to save since his loyalty lies to the port mafia, while dazai wasn't but stayed to find a reason to live (as far as i know). while dazai had left the mafia to join the agency and hasn't committed any crimes since, chuuya had stayed and eventually, his crimes will pile up close to dazai's number of crimes. or maybe just murder count? who knows🤷🏼♂ (chuuya staying in the mafia wasn't really shown, but if it was and i didn't notice, i don't think they realized it.) while dazai had done worse things than chuuya, he changed sides, joining the light. chuuya, however, stayed in the dark. im not entirely sure why, but i think it's because chuuya eventually saw the port mafia as his family/home? yeah. and they practically just judged by who "had it worse". first of all, they can't compare and judge since it doesn't determine if they can be saved or not(depends). nothing about dazai's early "childhood" was shown, so we can't really reveal that (unless we use theories/headcannons of it instead). no one had it worse, no one had it best. they both suffered. comparing won't help. just because chuuya "had it worse", doesn't mean he can be saved. they assumed he was manipulated to join, which is i guess reasonable since that's what they were shown and that's correct, still, chuuya joined on his own accord (in a way), and he stayed even if he (probably) didn't need to. they shouldn't judge by their experiences. obviously, no one should. and lastly, just because chuuya is closest to them, doesn't mean he should be the only one that's saved. there's a small light in the hearts of every 'villain'. they just can't find it. oda guided dazai to that light. and maybe, chuuya knows where that light is, but stays with his new family (being the pm) instead. imagine if they tried to save chuuya but chuuya refused because he's loyal to the port mafia😭 imagine if they saw 22!chuuya who is still in the port mafia, meanwhile, 22!dazai was in the agency🤧😭 most of these are opinions i just wanted to share😭 please correct me if there are any mistakes😅😥

Uhmmm .. I don’t know. Personally I think that the difference is stated by their attitude after changing the sides for the better. Bakugou after changing didn’t reopen any of the wounds he inflicted but dazai did ;every single moment he got. Well their can be talks about how different there childhood was and not but we are to compare them I think that’s what makes Baku eligible for saying that. Even though I definitely agree with everything you've said, I'm pretty sure that since they believe Chuuya to be a good person they're automatically assuming that he was forced to be a bad person and is therefore exempt from consequences (he WAS manipulated into joining the mafia but my guy was still out here killing people when still in the Sheep). It's a lot easier to view someone as nothing more than a "villain" when all you know about them is that they've done bad things (Dazai), but villains are people, too. I don't say that excuses anything, of course, rather the opposite. Criminals are people. They can care about their family and really like knitting but none of that makes them not a bad person, it just makes them human, and the MHA cast have always kind of danced around that, because those things CAN coexist. The black and white "hero vs villain" conflict is so frustrating because it's always coming from a place of "we have to fight them" instead of "we have to save them." Not everyone can be saved, but those who are somehow never get labeled as "true" villains because apparently people forget that redemption and rehabilitation exists. It's always "oh, but they were never a REAL villain in the first place!" which is what I think they're applying to Chuuya. But absolutely, it is not their place to pick and choose who deserves help!!! Y'all are teenagers who should NOT be deciding peoples' fates like this.
Honestly the MHA world is so fucking corrupt, the heroes are terrible people sometimes but they don't fucking question any of that because of their black and white moral system saying that heroes are right and villains are irredeemable. Hell the only little sliver of light shone on this premise is Endeavor and how horrible he was to his family.

I loved this reaction! They actually interacted and tried to come to a conclusion together, rather than staying in their own world and just saying "i dont think anyone else noticed". They actually pointed out the small details! The dialogue was basically always in character. And, they reacted to even the slightest change in scenes. They remembered videos they watched in the past, so they could come to a correct conclusion. And i won't even start on the designs. I could ramble on for days about how perfect they are! I love your reaction videos!

honestly? i wanted to tell them that chuuya was gonna be harder to save since his loyalty lies to the port mafia, while dazai wasn't but stayed to find a reason to live (as far as i know). while dazai had left the mafia to join the agency and hasn't committed any crimes since, chuuya had stayed and eventually, his crimes will pile up close to dazai's number of crimes. or maybe just murder count? who knows🤷🏼♂
(chuuya staying in the mafia wasn't really shown, but if it was and i didn't notice, i don't think they realized it.)
while dazai had done worse things than chuuya, he changed sides, joining the light. chuuya, however, stayed in the dark. im not entirely sure why, but i think it's because chuuya eventually saw the port mafia as his family/home? yeah.
and they practically just judged by who "had it worse". first of all, they can't compare and judge since it doesn't determine if they can be saved or not(depends). nothing about dazai's early "childhood" was shown, so we can't really reveal that (unless we use theories/headcannons of it instead). no one had it worse, no one had it best. they both suffered. comparing won't help. just because chuuya "had it worse", doesn't mean he can be saved. they assumed he was manipulated to join, which is i guess reasonable since that's what they were shown and that's correct, still, chuuya joined on his own accord (in a way), and he stayed even if he (probably) didn't need to.
they shouldn't judge by their experiences. obviously, no one should.
and lastly, just because chuuya is closest to them, doesn't mean he should be the only one that's saved. there's a small light in the hearts of every 'villain'. they just can't find it. oda guided dazai to that light. and maybe, chuuya knows where that light is, but stays with his new family (being the pm) instead.
imagine if they tried to save chuuya but chuuya refused because he's loyal to the port mafia😭
