Okay but midorya has a great point. They forgave chuuya for has actions and not dazai? You could see that he was a traumatized kid being taken advantage of. Yes bad things have happened to chuuya and he has done bad things to but they forgave him for it, and not dazai who have been through horrible times too? I honestly always thought that Midoriya would have an easier time adapting to such a morally grey world because even with his gigantic hero complex he himself still experienced a truly sad past, due to Bakugou being the biggest piece of shit know to man-kind, and I feel like he would be able to relate to Chuuya and Dazai well and maybe see the reasoning behind their actions instead of just the results of it like his classmates do, and I feel like that was represented well in this video with Midoriya kind of being stuck between the black-and-white world he lives in and the grey world Chuuya and Dazai live in. Bakugo has used his quirk which isn’t aloud, he has hurt a classmate in school and out of school, he has suicide baited, he has threatened others. Those are all crimes I think. Anyways I totally agree, they’re only saving chuuya cause they know him. Izuku acting like the only hero, you know, a hero saves everybody.

My reason is he continues to do what he’s been doing for Akutagawa without trying to do better towards him, I think he doesn’t find a reason to since the damage is already done- that’s pretty bad. Akutagawa has tried to become better about this as he’s recognized some of his wrong. They both are working on fixing themselves. Many people can not forgive someone else’s same actions as another they can forgive because of background. As Akutagawa and Dazai may not have a ton of backstory Akutagawa had one which other can find more relatable or justifiable if his actions. Dazai is complicated as many know so it’s hard to understand whether it can be justified or not. Both are in the wrong but they both have different backgrounds that make them feel more justified than the other. ((Another example is Dazai and Chuuya- we don’t know much about Dazai but Chuuya we have a story for, it just make one seem more justified and forgivable)) I also believe Dazai can be seen as worse for his ways of abusing Akutagawa. ((I really don’t like how he literally shot him attempting to kill him 😭)) Akutagawa seems less aware of his actions than Dazai as Dazai is literally one to manipulate and understand wrong. Akutagawa, it seems more like copying a style of ‘training’ or out of anger, kinda like some bullies. ^^ that’s all I have for you! This isn’t meant to be an argument I just wanted to rant sorry 😢

I love both Midoriya’s and Bakugo’s thought process and how they both call out the class for being hypocritical in their own ways and I think their thoughts stay true to their characters. Midoriya doesn’t understand why it’s alright to forgive and try to help one of them and not the other and Bakugo isn’t forgetting about all the bad Dazai has done and even if the man has changed, is it still alright to ignore everything he did? Honestly loved it!! I’m so glad Midoriya brought forth the favouritism everyone was doing, I’m glad you added it into the script!!! This happens multiple times, whether it be in the bsd fandom, or in real life, a good example would be the fact people always aim at dazai for abusing Akutagawa, but tend to forget it was the mafia, children grow their common sense along with the environment they were in, I doubt Dazai knew any better. Dazai himself was a child going through mental and physical? abuse, he dehumanised and thought rationally, at the time, he thought the way of mentoring Akutagawa was most effective, he didn’t use his feelings for that. In the same way, people tend to favour the people they are closer to, we don’t remember the fact that, even if we don’t know someone, they could be going through something, it was incredibly selfish, honestly. Dazai shouldn’t be saved, why? Because he’s a rather shady character? Because his past wasn’t shown well? He deserves to sit in the mafia and rot? They act like chuuya didn’t willingly commit the crimes he did! Why? Why would they want to save chuuya, because they knew him well? Because his past was shown in detail? Because it was sadder? Chuuya was still a criminal before meeting dazai, that too in an organization which was aspiring to overthrow the mafia. More than because of his crimes in general, it is more because of child abuse (when it comes to children or young people, people become more aware, if Dazai was 14-16, Akutagawa was between 12-14), I understand what you explained, I really believe that everyone knows, but it does not justify the abuse of Akutagawa when he was a child. Many rapists had already been sexually abused before they themselves committed that crime, but their past does not take away from what they have done (I'm sorry if the example is a bit drastic?). Personally, I like Dazai's character, he is one of my favorites since he is a complex character, but he himself knew and knows that what he did was not the best and it has never crossed his mind to ask Akutagawa for forgiveness. Although this fact is not something that "indignates" or surprises me since it was to be expected, after all it is a mafia, it is not like everything was rosy. I also think that Chuuya does not include child abuse on its list of crimes.
Honestly I love Bakugo’s realistic thinking. I do like the fact that they are realistically favoriting Chuuya but not Dazai based on how they see the world. I actually get why, they find Chuuya with is worst, they see a less violent(not aggressive but killing wise) person than Dazai, and they know him. It’s going to be harder to loose your trust in someone you’ve known. Dazai they have only seen his worst, he was child but they never saw what he’d went through, and they don’t know aswell. Deku does make a point but based on the information they’ve been given Chuuya definitely seems more redeemable. He seems more forgivable since they know his reasons, they really think he’s a good person. Dazai’s reasons or much of a past didn’t justify any of his like Chuuya’s. They only have information on how bad he was. Bakugo didn’t actually seem like he even thought of excepting either as good. He seemed more sympathetic to Chuuya due to knowing him but was it. He knew they had done wrong and had to have some sort of punishment for their actions. He never saw them as unredeemable though, just as people who’ve done bad things and shouldn’t be forgiven so easily. ((BTW WHILE IT DOES SEEM HYPOCRITICAL OF BAKUGO TO NOT FORGIVE THEM FOR HORRIBLE ACTIONS SO EASILY BUT WHEN HE APOLOGIZE HE DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO MAKE UP HIS ACTIONS BUT TO SHOW HE KNEW OF HIS WRONG-DOINGS. I'm really late to this, but I love that you just don't throw hate at Bakugou for throwing hate. The people who comment on these things about Bakugou being a hypocrite do not take into account that while we see them as characters with possible reedeming outcomes, if we came across a real Dazai we wouldn't want him to be reedemed either. It's just a normal reaction to pick Chuuya when you symphatize more with him and just because Izuku's an angel of a person doesn't mean everyone is or has to be. If I met a Dazai in real life, no matter how much I like his character, I probably wouldn't try to save him either, especially when Dazai doesn't want to be saved. And even if I don't think I would want to help Chuuya, there's a possibility I would agree more if I know that he was forced and that he may change. It's just a normal reaction and Bakugou, a TEENAGER, would probably have it even more, especially with just how black and white MHA's society is, just like ours. And there is the fact that he's right for wondering if they can ignore the damage that they have done.
I love how all of them see in black and white, but Izuku seeing in different greys. He wants to save everyone even if it means getting himself hurt and Idk if that’s grey or white. Maybe it's me overthinking, thanks to so much fic I read, but Izuku sometimes looks so uncomfortable next to Bakugou. And when that fool gets angry and has his outbursts at the start, Izuku sometimes just smiles and closes his eyes like, 'please don't let him hit me,' I mean, do you understand what I'm getting at? I feel that he is very cautious around him.
It's nice to see them empathize chuuya ,And them agreeing to help him is really nice. Chuuya deserves this, but... it still makes me sad that they didn't sympathize with Dazai. Okay but midorya has a great point. They forgave chuuya for has actions and not dazai? You could see that he was a traumatized kid being taken advantage of. Yes bad things have happened to chuuya and he has done bad things to but they forgave him for it, and not dazai who have been through horrible times too? They only want to help people they know now people who need it. Midoryia is the obly one who had a good mindset

I honestly always thought that Midoriya would have an easier time adapting to such a morally grey world because even with his gigantic hero complex he himself still experienced a truly sad past, due to Bakugou being the biggest piece of shit know to man-kind, and I feel like he would be able to relate to Chuuya and Dazai well and maybe see the reasoning behind their actions instead of just the results of it like his classmates do, and I feel like that was represented well in this video with Midoriya kind of being stuck between the black-and-white world he lives in and the grey world Chuuya and Dazai live in.

My reason is he continues to do what he’s been doing for Akutagawa without trying to do better towards him, I think he doesn’t find a reason to since the damage is already done- that’s pretty bad. Akutagawa has tried to become better about this as he’s recognized some of his wrong. They both are working on fixing themselves.
Many people can not forgive someone else’s same actions as another they can forgive because of background. As Akutagawa and Dazai may not have a ton of backstory Akutagawa had one which other can find more relatable or justifiable if his actions. Dazai is complicated as many know so it’s hard to understand whether it can be justified or not. Both are in the wrong but they both have different backgrounds that make them feel more justified than the other.
((Another example is Dazai and Chuuya- we don’t know much about Dazai but Chuuya we have a story for, it just make one seem more justified and forgivable))
I also believe Dazai can be seen as worse for his ways of abusing Akutagawa. ((I really don’t like how he literally shot him attempting to kill him 😭)) Akutagawa seems less aware of his actions than Dazai as Dazai is literally one to manipulate and understand wrong. Akutagawa, it seems more like copying a style of ‘training’ or out of anger, kinda like some bullies.

I love both Midoriya’s and Bakugo’s thought process and how they both call out the class for being hypocritical in their own ways and I think their thoughts stay true to their characters. Midoriya doesn’t understand why it’s alright to forgive and try to help one of them and not the other and Bakugo isn’t forgetting about all the bad Dazai has done and even if the man has changed, is it still alright to ignore everything he did? Honestly loved it!! I’m so glad Midoriya brought forth the favouritism everyone was doing, I’m glad you added it into the script!!! This happens multiple times, whether it be in the bsd fandom, or in real life, a good example would be the fact people always aim at dazai for abusing Akutagawa, but tend to forget it was the mafia, children grow their common sense along with the environment they were in, I doubt Dazai knew any better. Dazai himself was a child going through mental and physical? abuse, he dehumanised and thought rationally, at the time, he thought the way of mentoring Akutagawa was most effective, he didn’t use his feelings for that. In the same way, people tend to favour the people they are closer to, we don’t remember the fact that, even if we don’t know someone, they could be going through something, it was incredibly selfish, honestly. Dazai shouldn’t be saved, why? Because he’s a rather shady character? Because his past wasn’t shown well? He deserves to sit in the mafia and rot? They act like chuuya didn’t willingly commit the crimes he did! Why? Why would they want to save chuuya, because they knew him well? Because his past was shown in detail? Because it was sadder? Chuuya was still a criminal before meeting dazai, that too in an organization which was aspiring to overthrow the mafia. SORRY FOR THE RANT LOL, IM SO GLAD SOMEONE MENTIONED THIS, personally as a dazai fan, I don’t like it when people call dazai out for things which have a reason, yes, he did wrong, but at least he’s trying to make up for it! More than because of his crimes in general, it is more because of child abuse (when it comes to children or young people, people become more aware, if Dazai was 14-16, Akutagawa was between 12-14), I understand what you explained, I really believe that everyone knows, but it does not justify the abuse of Akutagawa when he was a child. Many rapists had already been sexually abused before they themselves committed that crime, but their past does not take away from what they have done (I'm sorry if the example is a bit drastic?). Personally, I like Dazai's character, he is one of my favorites since he is a complex character, but he himself knew and knows that what he did was not the best and it has never crossed his mind to ask Akutagawa for forgiveness. Although this fact is not something that "indignates" or surprises me since it was to be expected, after all it is a mafia, it is not like everything was rosy.
I also think that Chuuya does not include child abuse on its list of crimes.

Honestly I love Bakugo’s realistic thinking. I do like the fact that they are realistically favoriting Chuuya but not Dazai based on how they see the world.
I actually get why, they find Chuuya with is worst, they see a less violent(not aggressive but killing wise) person than Dazai, and they know him. It’s going to be harder to loose your trust in someone you’ve known. Dazai they have only seen his worst, he was child but they never saw what he’d went through, and they don’t know aswell.
Deku does make a point but based on the information they’ve been given Chuuya definitely seems more redeemable. He seems more forgivable since they know his reasons, they really think he’s a good person. Dazai’s reasons or much of a past didn’t justify any of his like Chuuya’s. They only have information on how bad he was.
Bakugo didn’t actually seem like he even thought of excepting either as good. He seemed more sympathetic to Chuuya due to knowing him but was it. He knew they had done wrong and had to have some sort of punishment for their actions. He never saw them as unredeemable though, just as people who’ve done bad things and shouldn’t be forgiven so easily.
((BTW WHILE IT DOES SEEM HYPOCRITICAL OF BAKUGO TO NOT FORGIVE THEM FOR HORRIBLE ACTIONS SO EASILY BUT WHEN HE APOLOGIZE HE DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO MAKE UP HIS ACTIONS BUT TO SHOW HE KNEW OF HIS WRONG-DOINGS. I'm really late to this, but I love that you just don't throw hate at Bakugou for throwing hate. The people who comment on these things about Bakugou being a hypocrite do not take into account that while we see them as characters with possible reedeming outcomes, if we came across a real Dazai we wouldn't want him to be reedemed either.
It's just a normal reaction to pick Chuuya when you symphatize more with him and just because Izuku's an angel of a person doesn't mean everyone is or has to be. If I met a Dazai in real life, no matter how much I like his character, I probably wouldn't try to save him either, especially when Dazai doesn't want to be saved.
And even if I don't think I would want to help Chuuya, there's a possibility I would agree more if I know that he was forced and that he may change. It's just a normal reaction and Bakugou, a TEENAGER, would probably have it even more, especially with just how black and white MHA's society is, just like ours.
And there is the fact that he's right for wondering if they can ignore the damage that they have done.

Maybe it's me overthinking, thanks to so much fic I read, but Izuku sometimes looks so uncomfortable next to Bakugou. And when that fool gets angry and has his outbursts at the start, Izuku sometimes just smiles and closes his eyes like, 'please don't let him hit me,' I mean, do you understand what I'm getting at? I feel that he is very cautious around him.

Honestly, cannot STAND when they're all like "it's just so secretive". Aizawa I understand 'cause he's a teacher so he should be informed of these things, but he doesn't tell what he feels to the stidents so them being upset about not knowing anything pisses me off. They're not entitled to knowing anything just 'cause they're in the hero course or because they think they deserve to know. They need to learn to mind they own business. It just makes me so angry😤. This os why I couldn't eatch after, like, season 4 'cause apparently Deku wants to SAVE Shigiraki, you know, the mass murderer. What a great idea😒. He doesn't even show remorse for his actions. And before ya'll say anything I know Dazai doesn't either but at least he hasn't been tormenting our protagonist sonce the beginning. (And being honest, I've not been a big fan of Dazai since that Akutagawa reveal any ways, so there's that I guess)

Like, Chuuya is a person, yes, but isn't Dazai one as well? They don't even care a bit about him, nor do they know him. But just because he's committed crimes doesn't make him a 'monster'. If that's the case, what's Chuuya then? They were PARTNERS and committed many crimes together. And they only care about Chuuya because he's their classmate, was experimented on, got betrayed etc. But didn't Dazai also have a sad past? They literally SAW that he was abused, and was a victim of a cycle. But how come they only care about the other victims? Dazai is also one but they treat and see him as the person who takes full responsibility of everything that's happened. He's responsible for Akutagawa because he abused him, he's responsible for Chuuya because he manipulated his friends to betray him, I know he sure takes the responsibility for these but how coulf they deny the fact that he's also a human, a kid, a student? Aren't they supposed to be heroes? Weren't heroes supposed to save people, and not blaming them for their mistakes and completely ignore that they're a victim as well?
