@the_shipper46 That's right, but it's common in a child, and he is only 18, so he only knows pain. Every person has a different way to react to trauma. Other people can shut themselves out. For a person to heal, they need time, and at the moment, he is still in the orphanage. And in the show, he is just getting more trauma by getting his limbs cut off and discovering more things that his brain erase due the severity of the trauma. He is one of the most human characters, and we see how he still fight even after all that, any other person would have to give up, but doesn't change the harm is still there. "He live in his past" it's just ptsd, a normal thing that happens after a traumatic event.
Everyone have their opinion and it's respectable. In my case is just sad that they call him like that, when he is just acting reasonable by everything that have happened to him

There were so many unexpected and amazing details in this compilation I am genuinely happily shocked. I saw most of the moments I liked especially talked about in the comments, but the silent change of expression he had when he saw Atsushi’s happy ending held so much weight despite it being such a small detail.

I really loved the video. It was incredible with the reactions and how canonical the reactions to the videos and TikToks are, but I feel that you didn't get the most out of Dazai's part that I think you could have gotten out of him, like putting his time in the mafia, how he joined, his status and how he was so feared despite being so young, the trauma and how Mori manipulated him by making him do things he didn't want to do, and why Dazai himself thinks he is not human and tends to dehumanize himself. , I think it would make the reaction much better and cover many parts of why he looks so dull and dead inside. I also think that in Dazai's part, you could say that Dazai doesn't really hate Akutagawa and that he only did that so that he would survive in the mafia, as well as that Dazai thinks that Aku is going to become the best ability user in the mafia, but apart from those details, the reaction was excellent with its duration, commitment to the reactions, and adherence to the canon. ^^

I want to start by saying that I loved the dedication put into the video and the reactions, as well as the vids chosen, enjoyed it a lot. The duration was a great surprise! But I will have to rant about Chuuya a little so forgive me. Loved everything but Chuuya's portray, he is not dumb for gods sake stop reducing him only to brawns when it's stated and immplied multiple times in the web novel Dazai isn't weak, he is just weak compared to Chuuya, and Chuuya isn't stupid, he is just stupid compared to Dazai. Chuuya is, in fact, very intelligent. He is also not the 'everything will set me off' character people make him to be. He is only like that with Dazai and even then it was during stormbringer I think that it was revealed part of it was annoyance and part of it was that they felt good bickering with each other. Also, he is extremelly good with other people, who don't piss him off. Until Ranpo brought Dazai, Chuuya was arrogant, yes, but he had no desire to fight and unfair battle with a non-combat person like Ranpo. In his fight with Kenji, he was even kind, and is not bothered by Kenji's out-of-place remarks. We haven't seen him interact much with other members, but he is polite with Mori even before joining the mafia, just cocky. He was betrayed by the sheep and forgave them, going as far as joining the mafia to protect them. Dazai reveals he was the one behind the betrayal and Chuuya DOESN'T BLAME HIM. Chuuya can forgive anyone he spends a little time with, he is extremely forgiving. This is evidenced in the novel when he forgives Shirase, and even Velraine and Rimbadou. He visits their graves. He accepts the fact that Mori was doing his job as an organization head and has the good sense to try and learn from him what real leadership is like. He is seen giving Q a piggy back ride even if he dislakes them. And in that note, he dislakes Q because he cares for his men and Q killed lots of them. He could predict Dazai's plan in Dead Apple with only a hint and went to help, knowing exactly what Dazai wanted him to do. In Meresvault, he wasn't set off by any comment made towards him, he quietly carried with his act, and only blew up when DAZAI taunted him. And in the whole ADA vs Port Mafia thing in the cannibalism act he is stated to be the right hand of Mori (after dazai left) even over Kouyou. He can't be just a rabid dog if he managed to get that high in the mafia. Not to mention that he was made an executive almost at the same time as Dazai. The only reason Dazai is the 'youngest executive in mafia's history' is ironically because Chuuya is older than him. Also, Chuuya has to be really good at maths for him to use his ability, it's not only 'punch things with gravity'. There, sorry. If I continue I will make a whole analisis but I really dislake Chuuya's and Dazai mischaracterisations when they are so compelling on their own. Also forgive any mistakes, English is not my first language.

I want to start by saying that I loved the dedication put into the video and the reactions, as well as the vids chosen, enjoyed it a lot. The duration was a great surprise! But I will have to rant about Chuuya a little so forgive me.
Loved everything but Chuuya's portray, he is not dumb for gods sake stop reducing him only to brawns when it's stated and immplied multiple times in the web novel Dazai isn't weak, he is just weak compared to Chuuya, and Chuuya isn't stupid, he is just stupid compared to Dazai. Chuuya is, in fact, very intelligent. He is also not the 'everything will set me off' character people make him to be. He is only like that with Dazai and even then it was during stormbringer I think that it was revealed part of it was annoyance and part of it was that they felt good bickering with each other. Also, he is extremelly good with other people, who don't piss him off. Until Ranpo brought Dazai, Chuuya was arrogant, yes, but he had no desire to fight and unfair battle with a non-combat person like Ranpo. In his fight with Kenji, he was even kind, and is not bothered by Kenji's out-of-place remarks. We haven't seen him interact much with other members, but he is polite with Mori even before joining the mafia, just cocky. He was betrayed by the sheep and forgave them, going as far as joining the mafia to protect them. Dazai reveals he was the one behind the betrayal and Chuuya DOESN'T BLAME HIM. Chuuya can forgive anyone he spends a little time with, he is extremely forgiving. This is evidenced in the novel when he forgives Shirase, and even Velraine and Rimbadou. He visits their graves. He accepts the fact that Mori was doing his job as an organization head and has the good sense to try and learn from him what real leadership is like. He is seen giving Q a piggy back ride even if he dislakes them. And in that note, he dislakes Q because he cares for his men and Q killed lots of them. He could predict Dazai's plan in Dead Apple with only a hint and went to help, knowing exactly what Dazai wanted him to do. In Meresvault, he wasn't set off by any comment made towards him, he quietly carried with his act, and only blew up when DAZAI taunted him. And in the whole ADA vs Port Mafia thing in the cannibalism act he is stated to be the right hand of Mori (after dazai left) even over Kouyou. He can't be just a rabid dog if he managed to get that high in the mafia. Not to mention that he was made an executive almost at the same time as Dazai. The only reason Dazai is the 'youngest executive in mafia's history' is ironically because Chuuya is older than him. Also, Chuuya has to be really good at maths for him to use his ability, it's not only 'punch things with gravity'.
There, sorry. If I continue I will make a whole analisis but I really dislake Chuuya's and Dazai mischaracterisations when they are so compelling on their own. Also forgive any mistakes, English is not my first language.
