Are you sure? New DNA tests of Viking burials in Scotland (picts) and Ireland have show that the person(s) buried shared no DNA with whom we consider "Viking". "Viking DNA: in modern day Sweden are about 10% "Viking DNA" and people in the UK show about 6% "Viking DNA". Not Western eruopean?? Well then the vikings were present in eastern european places as well! They also did DNA sequencing from viking buiral sites from these locations Greenland, Ukraine, The United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Poland, and Russia. Maybe you do share some DNA, but viking was more of a life style, as not all Scandinavians were Viking.

I bet a dragon braid would suit you well. It’s super simple.. I don’t believe its exactly even a real braid per say. More so a bunch of tiny ponytails split & gathered.

Oh definitely! I got mine from the family on TikTok for my birthday on Amazon! I put in a rune for strength, wisdom, protection and I use one random one to trust the universe 🙏🏻

I think a curly beard always looks better unless your beard is hella long
Thought a bead or two on the beard would be cool. I'm doing this cos I've so many viking looking Ukrainians. I'm learning a bit of Ukrainian language too to exercise my brain. Know lot of polish and I think it's in my subconscious from watching so many videos. Too much time on my hands but great video and it's exactly what I'm looking for I have similar hair and beard but a bit darker cos I'm a bit Celtic also

I’m so frustrated because no matter what I do my hair mattes when I push the bead up. Its messy looking and everything. I can’t pull it straight through without my hair bunching up!
prolly make the hair strands skinnier (less hair to pull thru) or wet/gel/balm the hair!! it’ll add more control. i embroidery and sometimes this happens and i use something to lubricant the strands :)
How about 3x3, braid individual? Then french braid them all
Or skip the individual braid. Not sure how it would all lay.
Still getting my hair grown back out after beating two types of stage 3 cancer.
My uncles and I are all over 6" of Nordic descent. Family reunions in Narvic.
My midlife crisis drives me to further seek out my Nordic heritage.

Cool look but there's no historical or archeological support for undercuts, dreds, hair beads or beard beads. It's a movie glam and reenactorism look. That's fine. It's just not authentic.

Fantastic! Thanks, man! To help provide a back recommendation, if you ever need some great “man” hair ties (we have usually wider hands and wrist), check out LongHairs. They are out of CA somewhere. I just am sharing in case you ever get that repeated broken ties experience. They would not be great for holding the beads but would be great for general hold.
