@@ShatteredGlass916 I'd prefer if Zenith species stayed forgotten personally. They were neat in Frontier, sure, but that's the only placed they belonged. They really have no place in the main series. As they'd get tiring really fast. Because, in Monster Hunter, when something is really fuckin strong, it stands out, whereas in Frontier, everything is strong enough to blow up the entire room at some point, and you eventually get desensitized to it, or you have to keep outdoing every previous addition to the roster, and it then reaches a point where it just becomes ridiculous. Just my two cents. However, if you like em, then hell yeah mang, don't let my opinon sway yours, you enjoy what you want.
@@MyFederico96 In the main series, it's a tie between Dreadking Rathalos, and Silver Rathalos. However counting spin offs, it's easily Zenith Rathalos.
I'm always feel a little weird when I see speedruns with full fatalis armor but seeing you with silver rath and jyura blade makes me know 100% that this is all skill, great run!
I don't know the exact numbers so I'll use some made up numbers to try and explain the concept and how it works. For starters, let's assume softening works like a status and that in order to soften a body part, you need to contribute 100 points towards that "status". Dual Blades are light weapons, so they need 2 claw attacks to tenderize but that doesnt necessarily mean that their claw attack does 50 points towards softening, but it's somewhere between 50 and 100 (for simplicity's sake, let's say one claw attack with DB does 60 points towards softening). The claw attack itself also does points towards softening, we can assume that 3 claw attacks do at least a total of 50 or more points, which is how light weapons can tenderize after one clutch claw. Let's assume it does 20 per hit, and if Dual Blades do let's say 60 points towards softening with one clutch claw, you can do 2 claw attacks for a total of 40 and one attack with Dual Blades for the remaining 60 points. This doesn't always work though because Dual Blades do multiple hits and if you miss some of them you might not reach the 100 point threshold. Hope this helped you understand how it worked despite the awkward explanation.
@@대전설GLGD Exactly, it's easier to do consistently against bigger targets like Deviljho's body but for something smaller like Rathalos' head there's some luck involved 😅
@@CantaPerMe holy, this is the first time I know about a light weapon that does 60% tenderizing build up instead of 50% for the claw weapon attack. And I just tested it, you're right.

Any tips on positioning vs goldian/slos? Been trying to get more consistent dunks on them but can't seem to bait the proper attacks (e.g. goldian's vertical tail flip, slos's mid-air stomp, etc). Or is it all rng?
Stay right in front of her face when she does the "triple" fireball to bait the vertical talflip instead of the 3rd fireball or diagonal tailflip (she does the latter if you're standing in front of her but too far away) As for Silverlos' mid air stomp, he usually does it after certain attacks, usually after a backhop fireball (which you can bait by standing in front of his face after a spin) or when you're behind him after a charge attack (not guaranteed and afaik only works when he's enraged). Sometimes he also does a normal fireball after a backhop fireball first before doing the aerial stomps. There might be more ways for him to combo into that attack but those come to my mind off the top of my head
@@CantaPerMe Wow, thanks for the tips! I figured there was something wrong with my goldian runs since I kept getting diagonal flips after the 2 fireballs. Keep up the good work, love watching your runs!
