Really nice and satisfying hammer run. I never played hammer that often myself but it's always delighting seeing one play and/or having a good hammer bro in your team. Really valuable. Good old Alatreon times on Monster Hunter Tri, hammer time. Miss those times, man. Good job.

He's very aggressive but his attacks have safe spots, rewarding your for positioning yourself properly. He also has a variation of attack combos that change depending on whether he's enraged or not and where you stand, further rewarding you for observing and learning his patterns and positioning yourself properly.
@@CantaPerMe Yeah he also changes it up even more when he goes into hellfire mode. I find his fight challenging but fair. Only thing I don't like is he has a higher chance for stuns vs other monsters it seems. I'm glad you don't think he's trash anymore.

Geek Frost actually only the flinch clutch claw move affects them vs each other. They do no take damage or flinch from each other’s attacks. I had to fight both in the guiding lands.
I have been learning playing a lot of hammer. I am finding it to be one of the most satisfying weapons. I am also find the gunlance fun & satisfying too. My main weapons have been the Lance , light Bowgun ,play some Heavy Bowgun & also learning Bow.
I love hammer. The stun damage is wonderful. However i got too used to wide range gunlance in world and now in iceborn the long shelling GL are better and i have been learning when to use my charged shells. Both are great options hope you enjoy

when watching this i get info on tactics timing and set i kinda the berserker guy if i get hit i get hit but still need the trick for maximizing damage time and monster patters to abuse. i Don't really speed run but killing a monster that proficient is rewarding.

Did it to regenerate some stamina since I know that the opening was large enough to fully charge the superpound again in time to hit her with it. Also this was done on PC so no Safi weapons yet.

Hammer was my first main in tri. There was no HH in that game, but I've always been enamored by the HH from video from freedom and such. I look at your damage and mine with HH, and I cri evy tim. They really need to up the motion values. I think they were too scared to make HH too strong lol. I took your advice about the mad bone horn and I'm loving it. Thanks
You're not far from the truth with that, both monsters have certain attack patterns depending on where you're positioning yourself during their attacks which lets you to some degree predict their attacks if you know those patterns (for example, if you stay right under Silver Rathalos when he spins, he'll almost always do a stomp afterwards)

Slamming monster heads with hammers and knocking them out has always been gratifying.
You either kill the queen in 5 minutes or get two raths to the face. Cleared it once, never again.

I don't know why, but when using hammer/DB i tell my hit box is getting smaller than the other weapons.
The hammer hitboxes are insane, the hitbox is bigger than the visual size of the hammer.
So you end up liking this silver rath iteration afterall huh, well done man 👏
