Wow you look lovely ✌️❤️
God I hope you watch all of them ✌️❤️

"Don't they have cellphones?! This is 1990!"
...Oh, you sweet summer child.
Ah, the days when a cellphone was like lugging a brick around.
@@LordVolkov And reception in rural areas (Perfection, NV pop. 14, for example) would be spotty at best, more than likely non-existent. LOL
Back when cell phones weren't a thing🙄😣
@@kevincopeland5044 Well, they WERE around, but they were luxury items and were big enough that if you threw one at a velociraptor, you could kill it.
@Krister L Yeah but even today I doubt you'd get cell reception out where they were supposed to be.
Kids today play the floor is lava. Us 90s kids used to play Tremors.
Exactly lol ✌️❤️
70s kids played hot lava too 🤣
I'm a 90s kid and we played Jurassic Park 🙂
Your personality makes me so happy! You make me laugh so hard. "Something tells me I'm into something good".... love your channel.
Mel Smith A more suitable song to quote "I feel the earth move under my feet" lol.
@@justindenney-hall5875 lol! That's epic, man.
@@Falconer1128 And from the trailer "Whole lotta shaking going on".
I think one of the many things that makes this such a great horror movie is the fact that this isn't a movie where you're constantly yelling at the characters for making stupid choices.
It’s amazing how many people love this movie, including myself. I would say, it a near perfect balanced movie. The acting, plot, effects, budget, directing, everything comes together into a very entertaining movie. The chemistry between Val and Earl is great. That’s really how true friends interact.
Awesome reaction as usual. Keep the good movies coming. It’s good to see you back. Remember,
“Some people succeed because they are destined to, but most people succeed because they are determined to.”- Henry Van Dyke
1990 ≠ mobile phones :)
I am SO glad you watched this, though. It's a great action/comedy/kind-of-horror flick. I love how well the cast works together. I also love that the movie is pretty progressive for the time. Such great characters.
Wrong, mobile phones have been around since the 1980's but they were mainly only owned and used by rich people then as they were the only ones who could afford them. Also they were big ugly bricks lol. So yeah people in a middle of nowhere town definitely wouldn't have had them for sure lol.
This movie is as conservative as it gets, nothing progressive about it. Lol. Hell, the most progressive lady of the group keeps looking like a fool. 😂😂😂
Great reaction to this fun movie. The white zinc cream on the nose is a thing people used to do for vulnerable areas because it was stronger protection but you wouldn't want it all over your face and body so they used a lighter suntan lotion for the rest. Nowadays they have more powerful sunscreen that is clear so it's not needed. There definitely wouldn't have been cellphone coverage out in the middle of nowhere back in 1990.
I love her reactions, she has such a fun personality. Always makes my day!
"Help Him... NO RUN!!" Your reactions are fabulous! 😂
So glad you’re laughing and smiling again with us… we missed you tremendously
Tremors is such a great horror comedy. Saw it as a kid and loved it ever since. The sequel is also very good, but they go down hill after that. Burt and Earl return, but no Val.
Also, I enjoy that Val and Earl don't argue with Rhonda. She's the scientist and they take her word as fact.
Well, it helps that she's got those critical thinking skills!
the prequel is really good
@Ricardo Alonso Rojas The TV show did have a bit of charm, but never really got the chance to take off.
As a kid this gave me such bad nightmares... now its one of my favorite movies
The first one is great, the sequel is alright, the third one is dog shit but enjoyable and the fourth movie is kind of OK. Don't watch any of the others, though...
I think some of those monsters wanted Bacon for breakfast.
Too soon!!!!
I'm glad you said it so we can get it out of the way.
@@SaRENRampaiger nah it's never too soon lol ❤️✌️

Tremors and the leading sequels are complete entertaining endeavors in monster movies! I can rewatch these as background noise and still get a joy with laughter lol.. cant wait to see your reaction to this one and hopefully the rest that follow.
I love the original movie but everything that came after was absolutely terrible. Kevin Bacon took one look at those scripts, saw "Ass Blasters", then said no way.
@@nodak81 But the T.V. series was pretty good.
Only some explosives need to be moved gently.
Most modern explosives need a blasting cap to actually explode.
Some like c4 can be hit with a hammer or even set on fire and not explode.
Just whatever you do, don't do both! There are cautionary tales about soldiers who decided it would be fun to make a campfire out of C4, which is dumb but won't actually explode, but then deciding to stamp it out instead of pouring sand on it. Kaboom!
When he gave the kid the unloaded gun is my favorite part lmfao
I swear its impossible to not love you, your personality and your reactions.
i always laugh when burt gives melvin the gun with no bullets. 😂😂😂
Tremors is SUCH "campy fun"! So much so, it spawned a series of sequels.
The 1st was definitely the best, and a lot of people like the 2nd.
But, like most sequels, they tend to drop in quality a LOT as they go on.
Oh, and Happy Birthday!
About the only thing as entertaining as watching Tremors is watching you react to it! I love this movie and I was so happy when I saw it was going to be your next video! It's great to see you back, and I hope that after the darker times you've had, things keep getting better and brighter for you (and for Colombia too) xxx
This was one of my favorite movies as a teenager. Really funny and suspense elements. :)
15:38...I knew this was coming and knew she would get a kick out of Bacon saying "F.... YOU!!!!!!" hahahaha
So glad this gem has caught on. Your reactions are so precious, I paused on your face, and your micro-expressions are priceless. Be well!
Lol 😆 I love how cute and funny you are. All other reactors =serious, shocked, scared or sad. This girl sees a monster worm with teeth=smiley and giggles lol 😆

The country music was sung by Reba Macintyer who happened to be Burt's wife in the film. I love Tremors 2! It's also a great movie. Glad you enjoyed this comedy/horror film!

5:25 - The toilet wasn't connected. It was filled with ice and was being used as a cooler, so it wasn't as disgusting as you might think.
I love your reactions. This is a fun movie and I had blast watching you react to it for the first time. Welcome back, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your movie reactions.
I think this works so well as a comedy/horror because they never make fun of the monsters. The horror is real, but the characters and the dialogue is what's funny.
Horror parodies Don't work as they are not scary, and when they try to base the comedy on references it's not funny.
This is the perfect way. If you like that mix, you might like Slither (2006). If you too the horror away from that movie, it could work as a sitcom pilot by itself. A bunch of great characters and funny dialogue. But as it is, it's horrifying too.
Sorry you're suffering from depression and anxiety, but I'm glad you took some time off to take care of yourself.
Happy Birthday!!!! Love your reactions. Knew you’d enjoy Tremors.

I love this movie. I remember watching it in the theaters when it first came out and it's been one of my favorites ever since.
Lucky bastard. I had to wait for VHS. I don't think it was in theaters for very long though.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! That gun that Bert used to kill that one Grabboid was an 8 gauge shotgun. The cartridges are almost 1 inch in diameter, and 3.25 inches long (about 25.4 x 82.55 mm), and hold 2 ounces of lead (about 56.7 grams).
Ive loved this movie for years for it's clever dialogue and good use of a small budget. I'm glad the actors have come around from "I can't believe I let them put my name on this garbage" to "that was such a weird, fun movie, it I'm glad to have been part of it." I know I'm late to the party, but I would love to see you react to the first few sequels. The second and third do, IMO, a good job building on the mythos. The fourth is decent, if a little derivative, the fifth was trash, and Ive never seen the sixth or seventh films don't want to. If you find yourself having a slow day, give them a watch!
(Also, the practical effects in this movie was mostly miniatures and pantyhose stuffed with pumpkin filling, and the digging-through-the-soil effect was just them pouring dirt on the lens)
Great reaction Vanessa,so nice to see you back and your usual happy self, god bless you.
"Why just the nose?" Well, that white zinc sunblock is supposed to be put on small areas that are most likely to get burned - and the nose is one of the most likely areas to get burned.
Cell phones in 1990 were for rich people - or at least, upper middle-class. And, worse, the cell-phone network didn't cover much outside of big cities - and *sure* didn't cover a lone town with a population of 14 in the middle of nowhere, Nevada. Heck, it might not be covered now!
Fun fact: While the movie has "Perfection" in Nevada, they actually built the town for the movie in California near Lone Pine.
That was a brass cleaner, to clean off shell casings before you reload them.
Your reactions are phenomenal, so enjoyable to see how much you enjoy these films.
I love the expression 'pardon my French', unabashedly insulting to the French lol. I'm English though, so we have something of an excuse. Funny how the Americans use it though...considering the French donated 10,000 troops to the Americans during their fight for independence from British rule lol.
Brit swears : _Pardon my French._
Frenchman : _Assez juste, nous n'avons jamais été amis._
American swears : _Pardon my French._
Frenchman : _Excusez-moi? Tête de bite!_
The scene with them on the rocks that starts at 17:15 changed our games of "The Floor is Lava" forever. On a completely separate note: Only saw this on tv back in the day. Never realized how much "French" there was in it. lol
OMG you are so much fun Lady ^_^ Ty for doig this one... it is one of my very favorite 'not horror' movies :P Fred Ward and kevin bacon were epic (and that fiery red head is Reba mcintire)
Your soooo lucky being able to watch all these films for the first time, im so jealous!

El mio es el 21. I wish we could celebrate together ❤ I would take you to one of the many Colombian restaurants here in Los Angeles. Keep up the 'chimba' work Vanessa 😉
8:58 Cell phones weren't really becoming mainstream until like the late 90s. I remember cuz I was in high school at the time and we were pretty much the first cell phone carrying students generation playing Snake in class on our Nokias. I went to HS between 1998 and 2002. I think this movie was like early 90s.
That kid on the pogo-stick is Ariana Richards. You know her as playing 'Lex' in the movie Jurassic Park, you know - that kid with the computer skills that saves everybody.
We say pardon my french all the time in England lol
🤣😂😭Your laugh is contagious. This movie is my childhood favorite, scared me as a kid but makes me laugh as an adult hahaha. Enjoy your week, can't wait for more reactions.
She most likely was wearing sunscreen on her whole face. Starting around the mid 1980's it became the thing to do to wear zinc oxide on the nose and the highest SPF sunscreen everywhere else. It's only worn on the nose because the nose sticks out more and the skin is more sensitive and prone to sunburn. If you look it up it's still worn by cricket players and surf lifesavers. Plenty of which I see living in Australia which is the only reason I have this knowledge that I never get to use so thank you for mentioning it.
Pretty much this... people dont realize that back in the 80's the max sunscreen we had was i think SPF 9, some used 5-6, and the largest numbers of people simply never wore any lol. The strongest we had was the zinc oxide paste, and that was mostly used by sports people, especially cricketers just on the nose for Uosdwi's reasons, it often stuck out under hats and the like.
We didnt have much knowledge about skin cancers and the like, well more like little care I should say, and it was around that time the whole Ozone hole issue cropped up (which was big for my country here in NZ given we basically sat right under the hole alot of the time) which suddenly everyone started get sun conscious, hell they even thought if the hole got to big it would result in areas of pure radiation hitting the earth killing everything within... but that got shot down pretty quick, and we got on the CFC problem real quick and the hole is now alot smaller and far far less dangerous than it was or could have been (and it could have been BAD, just not apocalyptic bad lol).
But by the mid 90's we were up in the SPF 20's and zinc paste was forgotten (but still used alot in sports) since it no longer served a purpose, and the old slip slop slap came in, which is now slip slop slap and wrap (I think even that slogan is outdated).
Its a funny little thing from a small part of modern humanities past, that at the time was normal for us that lived then, but for younger people 20-30 years latter these days appears really odd lol... and i guess they are right, it was kinda odd. Same with the cellphones... hell didnt see my first Cellphone until about 96-97.
9:03 - Cell phones weren't around in 1990. Some people had portable phones, that were the size of a brick, some had car phones, with very limited range, but most people didn't. Those were considered luxury items. And even today a cell phone would have trouble getting a signal in an isolated remote valley surrounded by mountains, which is where this took place.
Some people had cellphones in 1990 but they didn't become commonplace until the late 90s. Plus this was a small town in the middle of the desert, so there probably wouldn't have been network coverage, especially back then!
I would give a lot to be able to remove the memory of this movie from my my so I could watch it for the first time again. I guess this is the closest I can get to that. Loved your reactions!
La traducción de esta película o doblaje era "Terror bajo la tierra"... nada que ver con Tremors jajaja pero aún así es una película que recuerdo de mi infancia, me encantó la reacción, tiempo sin comentarte! Saludos!!!

This one is the best of the series!
The first Tremors movie is arguably the best of the series. Kevin Bacon is hilarious as Val. Plus, I love Reba McEntire in this movie.
brilliant reaction...also you are BRILLIANT!! :)
Cell phones existed in 1990 but they cost about 5K and needed, atleast a car battery to operate if not a running Engine. I had one, on my truck, Floor mounted and a Brick sized phone receiver/caller. Stone ages to younger folks these days but without it we would not have what we have today.
Yeah, cell phones didn’t become really widespread until 2001-2004. In ‘92 you’d have to pay a LOT of money (& probably satellite fees as well) to be able to make a call from the middle of nowhere like they’re at.

Eight Legged Freaks
Another classic creature feature movie.
There are a bunch of sequels. The second one has Earl and Burt and then after part 2, it becomes Burt's franchise.
I believe you mean "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". That's the story about a boy who lied too much for fun until a real wolf came and nobody believed him. "Peter and the Wolf" is about a boy versus a wolf.
My dad has both stories confused too and I cannot convince him to see the truth.
