- One day each year, the Wilmington & Western runs both of its locomotives as a double header at "Pufferbelly Day." Dozens of photographers come out to see this train, so come along with us to enjoy the sights and sounds, as well as hear some of the history of both the railroad and its equipment. Enjoy!
A huge thanks to my good friend Chris Lundy for the excellent intro music written just for this video! And as always, thanks to Rudy Garbely for the intro music and Joe Battista lending his voice for narration. They make these videos what they are. Show some support for them and check out their channels as well!

Thank you very much, that means a lot. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Russel! Glad you enjoyed it
I owe you big time man! Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked the video!
well, the Moscow excursions always start around the 2nd weekend in July. 3254 will be pulling all of them (permitting that she has no problems) except for the excursion on the first day of Railfest, which has been pulled by F-units for the past few years. Plus, she will probably be running the Scranton Limited from Wed-Sunday after she gets out of the shops, but only until 26 gets up, which is starting to look pretty close to completion
Just the first clip made this video worth watching! Love the W&W!
Wow, Im in this video several times! lol. And only one more Pufferbelly Day until 58 goes down for its 15yr re-build!
Actually, Kevin, for Steamtown they will start running 3254 after her maintenance is done, which should be fairly soon. She'll be pulling the Moscow excursions starting on July 7th
Thanks Mike! Glad you liked it
Thanks Adam!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
Excellent video! I'm pretty sure double headed steam is hard to come by anywhere. You're lucky to have seen this.
Great video quality, great sound quality, great voice-over quality... Thanks for posting!
Thanks Kyle!
Thank you for watching it!
I was actually wondering when the last one will be. Looks like I'll be there!
Excellent! Looking forward to that!
Thanks! Yes, that's definitely true
Thanks. Yes they run every weekend I believe. You'd have to check on when they have a steam engine running though.
Nice! Love the narration! Seems like there was an army of railfans there that day!
Yay, trains! Fantastic video, Kevin! This makes me miss steam a lot. I haven't seen steam in ages!! I really want to get out to Strasburg soon. Anyway, this video was really cool. You covered a great operation in a great way! Good stuff, as usual.
Thanks!
Hopefully I can go somewhere to catch some steam action this summer.
Fantastic Video Kevin! You really put a lot of work into this, great job as always!
Thanks Rich! That has to be one of my favorite cabooses ever lol. I liked the horn almost as much as the whistle! Glad you liked the video.
There really was. I saw all manner of photo and video equipment on the market there haha.
Thanks! I was wonder why Strasburg wouldn't do this, then it occurred to me that I don't think they could fit two engines on their runaround
Thanks Mike! Believe me I never see steam, especially like this. Last steamer I saw was 3254 at Steamtown running the yard shuttles. W&W was really a great experience. Glad you liked it.
Awesome video Kevin! Really love it!
Thank you for the kind words. I will have more steam footage just like this coming to DVD very soon!
Awesome video Kevin! I wish I can get steam action like you!
Fantastic job man! You did an amazing job! I hope to visit this RR sometime. They have some nice steamers there! It's awesome that they have a double header once in a while. I wish someone like strasburg would do the same sometime.
Maybe I'll check some of those places out. Thanks for te info.
Steamtown won't have steam til like the fall. 142 steams up after Memorial day, 60 is running on and off in New Hope, Strasburg is running steam of course lol, and I haven't been there, but I've seen and heard great things about the RR in Essex, CT. That's on my list of places to go.
Love it, great stuff!
Delighted Thanks
They do not make them like this anymore
I worked hard on that clip, glad you liked it! It's a great railroad.
haha I remember seeing you filming the horsies lmfao
Thanks! Glad you liked it. My friend Chris wrote the acoustic music at the beginning. He did a great job, especially considering that is the opposite of the type of music he plays!
Great video and editing!
Very, VERY professional. Well done Kevin, well done. lol
CAN I GET A BIG THANKS FOR THE BEST CONVOY LEADER OF ALL TIME?! lol jk. great video man. Thumb and a fav.
Nice production man! I never watch steam videos because no one ever does them justice, but this one was great!
i saw a railfan hanging out of a tree, i guess he is as crazy as me!
Thanks! That means a lot. Whenever I record a tourist railroad, I always do the best I can to do the railroad justice. I think its a sort of small way for me to give back to them.
Well there's good news. I was just going by their schedule online. They probably gave themselves a little leeway in case something goes wrong
I don't know why I didn't comment on this video but it is great. These look and are so professional. Did your friends make the music?
Yeah haha. I just had to put that in there
what editing software did you use on this video?
No problem. That should keep you occupied for a few weekends. lol
Sony Vegas Platinum 11. Once I have the cash, I'd like to upgrade to Pro, but Platinum works extremely well for what I need it for, I recommend it.
Trust me, I'll be back. My next DVD project (second to the NYSW DVD) is going to be called "Northeast Steam"
Ah it's all cool man. Just let me know if you're ever back in Delaware for the day (Knowing you film for Railchannel and other commodities). I can help you out.
I wonder what’s been going on with 92 right now?
