- After searching for months I bought a car I’ve been looking at buying for awhile. I’m so happy I have this opportunity to upload again, but I won’t be consistent until end of April as the weather is still not consistent. Thanks for watching I appreciate all of you :)

super super good looking imo, especially with the red
Thank you, I agree. Stay tuned in the near future I’m making an in depth video of the acceleration!
man that cars looks great. congrats. take care of her and she'll go the distance
Thank you, I plan on driving this car till I can’t anymore!
These cars look so beautiful, i wish they made them rwd to compliment the 5.3 v8
I hear that a lot, the fwd does make it drive really well in bad conditions
@Bmstaudy it's the styling that looks like it should've been rwd, not only that, it could have also been offered as a coupe
@@johnnysalazar5399 I agree I think the Monte Carlo ss with the ls4 looks great as a coupe
As long as you avoid hard launches from a dead stop the new transmission should last at least 250k or more. Might want to change the fluid and filter on it at some point if you plan on keeping it for awhile. It’s a Very Rare car at this point I would recommend keeping it for years to come! Very few Buicks lacrosse supers left with v8 engines
That’s the plan everything looks good currently every year they get more rare
Cool car. Congrats
Thank you!
For a while I had a 2008 pontiac grand prix gxp fun cars for the money enjoy it my friend :)
I agree they’re good at a little bit of everything, thank you for sharing :)
It's such a shame that we barely have American cars here in Europe because they are so cool.
Don’t worry, us Americans are jealous of a lot of the cars you have over there too!
very nice, i had an 05 Allure with the 3.8 series lll, when released in Canada, the 'Lacrosse' badge name was banned in the province of Quebec, changed to 'Allure'
Love the 3800s I had one with 270,000 miles (432,000 kilometers) and only got rid of it because of rust, thanks for sharing!
...and even my American self knows why 'Lacrosse' would be.... well..... problematic in Quebec! 😂
My parents bought one like this new, except with the light gray interior. I need to bring it home.
I love the light gray interiors, is it a silver car?
@@Bmstaudy It's red like yours.
@@jimlubinski4731 beautiful spec!
Honestly the best color! I have this exact same one except mine doesnt have a sunroof. Mines tuned, and no mufflers on mine. 144k and has had almost zero mechanical issues! Ive had mine for a year now!
Yeah I’m a big fan of the spec I really enjoy the car so far!
@Bmstaudy That's awesome! Looking forward to seeing more videos of this gem! I forgot to mention I have the rarer 2009 black lacrosse super. 1 of 123 ever made! The last 16 were allure supers for the canadian market. I also scooped up a mocha bronze 2008 lacrosse super that my dad daily drives! It has 215k and the black one has I want say 147k last I looked!
@@jacobfountain8063 starting may when I get the vette back out I’ll be making tons of videos of both! I think I’ve seen your two supers in a fb group!
@@Bmstaudy Yess that is us! 😌🙌
Nice
Thank you I appreciate it!
That's good the DOD was eliminated from vehicle.... with that and the AFM disabled that 5.3 should make it to 300K no problem without needing any internal engine work ..P.S. I had no idea Buick offered this engine in any of their vehicles...figured V6 at best.
It was a great little bonus with the car when I bought it. I’ve already caught a few of my friends by surprise starting it and the car is a lot of fun!
They put NorthStar V-8s in Buick Lucernes.
nice car
i have one myself buick allure super 2009 same interior brown exterior love that car 145.000 km on it.
Wow that sounds like a perfect car, definitely a keeper!
@@Bmstaudy yes bought I from an old guy
Now i m thinking what I could do to make the car look great.
Any suggestions ?
Also for parts probably need to do some suspension work
Just moved here from Europe so need to find everything out 😅
@@nesensoccertraining8263 I’m all honesty I’m new to this car and really only know the engine. With that being said, the aftermarket struts I shown in my truck are supposedly sought after. I like the sleeper vibe this car presents, and I only plan on lowering it, and potentially powder coating the rims a darker grey or even black
@@Bmstaudy ✅ okay
I ll wait for the next video off the super 👌
Good luck with the car
@@nesensoccertraining8263 thank you!
How did you get rid of the AFM?
I bought the car with it already, but it’s a plug-in that works with the OBD2 port.
I’ve been looking for one of these for a while…
I hope you find one, I really enjoy this car and think it was well worth the time spent looking.
put some lubegard red in that rebuilt 4t65e, shit is like a miracle liquid with these transmissions.
I’ll keep that in mind thanks for the helpful info!!
@@Bmstaudy No worries, i'm not usually a fan of additives but mine was slamming into gear from red lights and it has completely stopped it for the past 6000km.. the 5.3 was definitely quite a bit overpowered for these transmissions, very sweet car though it looks clean.
@@ryanfaulkes7469 how many kilometers are on your car?
Hey bro my grandma needs her car back now
Makes me want to buy an ‘06 spark plug launcher
That's a sharp looking ride/ more aggressive looking Buick than prior years.......grandma...whatever....
@@barrya.6212 I agree it was a huge step up from the Le Sabre even
This car actually replaces the older regal/century sedans as the newer replacement car on the updated 3rd gen Wbody platform. @@Bmstaudy
I saw the same car on fb market place in my area milage is 235k and it already had rebuilt trans done. But now it needs another rebuilt. At the Current milage. So my question the guy is selling it for $1100 is it worth buying 🤔 and if so how much do you think a rebuilt is a second time ? And is it worth doing at that current milage? Thanks in advance ☺️.
The price seems pretty decent, although if you can I would still attempt to talk to buyer down a little more. At that mileage though I would check for any excessive lifter noise, and I know the camshaft position sensors on these are know to go bad and are difficult to replace. To rebuilt the transmission the previous owner to my car spent $3,000, and that’s money you’re not going to get back. Honestly I would be hesitant just because it’s hard to know all the previous maintenance and what’s been done/ what needs to be done. Don’t let me talk you out of it, if the car is something you really want, but I hope this helps!
@Bmstaudy it definitely helps I appreciate it thank you for the info.
mine only gets 15mpg
Mine was a decent amount of highway driving, hopefully I get around 18 😂
Look up crash tests on this car. ☠️
Just don’t crash 😂
I will never understand FWD v8 cars.....such a waste of a good engine
To each their own, I really dislike the 4T65e other than that I’m happy with the car so far
Drive in snow or rain and get back to me
@@henrywalI agree makes for a fantastic daily
Easy there Fast & Furious fanboy. Not every car needs to be rwd to be good
You’re not a car enthusiasts if you can’t appreciate fwd, awd, and rwd…
