Yep, I've done that on a '28 Model A tank and recently on a small gas tank for a Fairbanks Morse engine. It's a pain in the rear, and every other part of the body as well, LOL. You're doing a great job. The tank looks much better!!
It is a pain to do for sure, but I am pretty impressed with how well it cleaned the tank. I just sealed it and am working on creating the video for that too. Thanks for watching!
The shots with the 'scope make me want to buy one. I have many times wanted to do an internal visual inspection and could not. Miracles of modern technology.
This is the one I got. amzn.to/49eDg6P It's cheap, but it gets the job done and was pretty easy to use with my Moto Android. Depending on the app you use, your phone mic works too. I wanted to get over and behind the baffle, but I was pretty freaked out about the possibility of it getting wedged and stuck and knowing my luck, have to deal with another built in problem! I could also see this being used down the spark plug hole, or in the exhaust pipe, so good little tool to have.
A cart with wheels would have worked too. I thought about renting a cement mixer and wrapping the tank in a moving blanket but, at $30.00 a day..... Well, I'm building a huckster so that tells you I'm cheap....no, I'm frugal :-)
That chemical+your efforts really worked!
Looked like new! Catch ya next time!
Thanks for the peek into the KBS system.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
What a cardio workout. Can't wait to see the partwhere you seal the tank.
It was a workout! Thanks for watching!

It would have been nice to have King Kong around to shake the tank. Or an assistant...

Forget King Kong! We have King Ken! Man are you fast!
Shake, shake, shake!
Shake your gas tank!
(To the tune of 'Shake Your Booty')
LOL, I've got plenty of that to shake!
Sounds like me: "Blah blah blah blah..."
LOL, my wife will tell me "can I get the clef notes?"
