Hey Guys! Tom Kennedy from North West Enduro shared this route with us. If you are into green laning and all things Enduro, please consider taking a look at their channel! 👆
@@UsernameKate done😀
any chance you could email me this route as im still looking for trails to ride/? Ive done the Trans Euro Trail on one of my bikes before just looking for some "easier lanes"
Actually laughed out loud at the the "might sh!t myself" comment with the gate
💩🤭
it's like the chuckle brothers up the hills having a giggle and a not so serious domestic, cries laughing. That gate close issue, so funny. Humour is key
Haha glad you enjoyed it. Honestly, not sure how Mike puts up with me. I watched the vlog back (usually do this once after upload so I can see it with fresh eyes) and even I wanted to give my shoulders a shake 🤣
@@UsernameKate hes a good man, a nice couple as always, one of these day you will both pass me and ill hola loudly hhahah, ride safe both
@@UrbanoModa I'll holla right back atcha 🤣🙌
Kate is the first person i have seen closes a gate from where it hangs end........i guess it saves money on gym membership haha. Power it girl💪. You did well, offroad, hanging on the steering doesnt help, just relax
😂😂😂😂
Haha thanks Richard! 😊
Kate , your commentary is the Canines conkers! You've have to be one of the most interesting and funny channels on RUclips at the mo. Don't stop what you're doin☺
Hey Ashley, thank you, proper made my day that!
Nice video. Honest remarks. Entertaining too. Looking forward to seeing your next video. 👍👍
You’ll never take smooth roads for granted again, green laneing is fun but scary too, hope you got to better roads without incident
I never take them for granted. Smooth roads are 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Kate and Mike, it seems a hard trail, but those beautiful landscapes are worth the effort. About cramps: sometimes it’s enough just stopping for a second and standing still. Those bikes are probably relatively light but at the same time the few ponies inside the engines smoke 💨 40 cigarettes a day… they don’t have that pinch 🤏 of torque to allow you getting out of mud and stones.
Nice vlog.
P.S. we also have a bridge called devil’s bridge, (ponte del diavolo, in italian) embedded in the beautiful and epicroadmotoadventure friendly Garfagnana (Tuscany).
Glad you enjoyed it!! And Andrea, I can guarantee your Devil's Bridge is a lot nicer than ours 🤣

Congrats Kate and Mike too .
Thanks Samir for the continued support :) means so much!
"I feel like i'm gunna shit"!!! had me howling, fair play and fantastic efford, I would love to do something like this
Get it done!! Salter Fell - Clithroe 👍
What a day out!! Reminded me a bit of when Me and my partner went to Wales in september and all I could hear on the comms was Lou saying gravel is not my friend gravel is not my friend repeatedly. And some more explicit words. You are inspiring me to get some knobblies on the speed triple lol 🤣😅 you sounded exhausted. Roll on part 3
Gravel is not my friend, GRAVEL IS NOT MY FRIEND! lol I can just hear it now 🤣
Awesome Kate you did fantastic if that’s your first real off roading 😂 and loved your Richie Veda and Jocelin Snow as I’ve watched them as well 😂 loving the content 🏍🏍🏍🏍🏴🏴🏴🏴
Glad you're loving it! :D
That is a great video. Can't wait to see the next one.The little Sinnis seemed to cope well in that environment. Thanks for putting these videos up.
Thanks for taking the time to comment Trevor! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Yep, some nice views from that road. Looks to be in fair shape too.
This is a great series you got going on. Remember "You got this" in what ever you try Kate.
You got this YOU GOT THIS 😅🤞
you have a good name, some would say the best name but it confuses me everytime i read it, cause i read the mike bit first haha
Nothing wrong with stopping to rest looking at the view, resetting yourself and getting comfortable to go again.
Really enjoyed the video. I ride E bikes off road up into the hills of Cliviger. Always great fun....Keep up the great work...xxx
Thanks Biker Chick!! I envy your fitness! I walk round the block and I have a stitch in my side 🤣
I was gripping on to my seat like I was watching a blockbuster thriller. You did incredibly well, a natural biker for sure. Well done. Can’t wait to see the rest.
Thanks John! Very kind of you! Next vlog is on the 13th Feb at 5:00pm UK time.
haha this is sooo cool!! 10 seconds later oh shit!!!! this is scary lol
🤣🤣🤣 lol so true!
You're very Good on SINNIS T 125 and Enjoy more Joyful tours🌏🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Mike did a hell of a job and made it look so easy🤣just teasing. That was an big workout on lovely country lanes. Very nice vid, big thumbs up👍👍🇳🇱
Haha that bugger makes everything look damn easy 🤣 glad you enjoyed the vlog!
Well looking at how hard it is for you Kate, makes you realise just how good Joselin snow is she is good at the off road stuff .
Oh she's a corker!
I really enjoyed that Kate, its always good fun taking to the hills. I've really enjoyed your NC500 trips too.
Good luck with the channel now you're going at it full time 👍
Thank you so much! That's really kind of you :)
Fair play Kate, you're doing really well.
Like you, i've got little off road experience, 30+ years of road riding, and recently started green laning, on my Royal Enfield Himalayan
A.K.A. "The Brian"
It's hard going, very tiering and very warm!! But well worth it in the end.
Keep plugging away, at your own pace and level, it gets easier with experience (apparently).
Looking forward to the next one, ride safe and have fun, Grumps.
Thanks for the kind comment as always Grumps! :)
Awesome vid! Couple of tips - gates are far easier to handle at the furthest point away from the hinges and sport bras make life easier. I've got quite a few miles on sandy and muddy trails riding small displacement bikes. Once you get used to the feeling of a loose backend, it's quite enjoyable.
I'm my defence... 😅 okay hear me out... there was quite a drop to get to the other end... ah who am I kidding, I'm just not the brightest 🤣
Well done Kate. That looked like very hard work.
Cheers Steve! A work out for sure!
@@UsernameKate You're welcome Kate. Take care and keep up the good work.
Channels really growing Kate. Content is great, just been catching up on the NC500 vids 👍
Thanks Shaun! Really appreciate that! 😊
Hi, sheep know no better there born to for it . You on the other hand , still have to find the energy to ride home . Fun and pain all the way and some straps in the wrong place . Well done . And just remember if you burn the clutch out , you also get to push it home . LOL .
I love a good work out LOL
They say it's easier on a great big GS or something like that.
It would be great if you did that BMW off road course in Wales, great viewing for us lot!
I'd love to!! That reminds me... I need to edit my GS Trophy footage!!
Another cool vid with lots of laughs great scenery excellent interaction (fancy name for getting told off😂😂) and a load of hard sweaty work. Looking forward to the next episode 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Haha he just expects me to be clueless 😅 it's the norm for us. Glad you enjoyed it Mr Tams! 💪 hope you're still enjoying your RS!
@@UsernameKate I’m loving it thanks Kate. Best bike I’ve ever owned and can’t thank everyone at Williams enough. Anyway keep up these terrific vids you and Mike are so funny 😂 👏👏👍
You are really doing good Kate keep it up can't wait to see the next episode.
Thanks Lyn! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Brilliant video thanks must get a 125 it looks like so much fun 😀
Super fun 🤣
Well done Kate. Out of your comfort zone but you still managed to keep going. Wild area.looks lovely.
Beautiful area! Lucky to have these roads... fairly local! 😊
Holey repaired tarmac roads 🐊. More off road than green laning. TMI on the bra strap 😄. Enjoyed this video. You may need to include Mike in your channel name given how much input he has. Nah, maybe not!
Glad you enjoyed it!! Haha yeah usernamemike, has a ring to it 🤣👍
Looking forward to part 3! Not been over Salter Fell for a while I might go for a blast next weekend.
Thanks for the route ❤
bravo lass well done, much braver than me. eat less salt and exercise regularly to minimize cramps keep safe ride hard.
Thanks Mick! Appreciate the advice!
Quote of the vlog “he had to give me a hard one” 8:50 🤣🤣🤣 great riding Kate, you both proper out those little bike through there paces. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Enjoyable video, loved it when you said, bin day and aah reet. You are both making lovely memories!
Riding bikes and making memories! The best times! 😁
Fantastic Kate your blogs are amazing the best part of a Sunday ❤️ ride safely lovely
Yay!! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌
Nice episode and Mike is so helpful 👏 and kind. Well done Mike 👏
Well done! Rocks and deep sand is not much fun, on adventure bikes. 😎👍🍻
Cheers Garth! 😊💪
Hi Kate, Hi Mike, I'm loving this ride down the narrow country road, leading to the Green Lanes, beautiful old stone walls along the route, beautiful country views, and Kate's soothing voice completes the magic of the moment! A moment of confusion, but Mike does sound a bit like Darth Vader! The terrain looks so treacherous! Some nice front cam shots! turning into an enduro! These grooves led to your Shakira moment, I would be inclined to walk alongside the bike to give your body a break! I really enjoyed this ride, exhausting as it was for both you and me!💑
I had to laugh out loud when you mentioned your hips cramping. Mine do the same all the time. Your so funny 🤣
Someone who can relate!!! Hallelujah praise thy LORD 🙌🏼🙏🤣
Been waiting for this bad boy 👍👍 The part with the gates and you getting told off 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm a nightmare 🤣🤣 glad you liked it 👍
Well done Kate, that looked like some tricky stuff on those green lanes. Looked like the Sinnis was coping ok
Sinnis was coping better than me LOL
That was a great effort on the little bikes...it looked knackering!. Great scenery too, those views 👏. And I saw you admiring that fine T7 coming past 😀...Cheers, Steve ps, you and your bra strap!...Mike obviously put his on properly..🤣🤣🤣😊
Mikes was on properly because I dressed him that day 🤣 just kidding! But yeah, T7....lovely bike. I'd look a blacked out one! 💪

Nice one Kate, couldnt of been easy on such a small bike. You did really well 👍👍
Bouncing me all over the show! 🤣
Everyone tells me off road riding makes you a better on road rider unfortunately we don’t have legal access to any off road areas over here.
Look forward to more of your off road shenanigans well done.
Thanks Norrie! Appreciate your comments. Shame you don't have any good lanes near you!
Fair play I'd hate doing that myself 🤣🙂👍 a nice smooth road is just fine for me 😂
Haha I like the silky smooth roads myself!
If u don't already, strength training, stretching, and proper hydration might help with the cramping.
Well I was looking forward to it. Was I disappointed though?…… Hell No!!!what a lovely ride in absolutely stunning scenery. I must ride there sometime. How did you manage to communicate so well? I can’t when I’m on the loose. All you’d get is humming of tunes and the odd expletive 😂. Brilliant test of the bike too. Here’s to part 3
Haha thanks Craig!! There was lots of swearing but that's the joys of being the editor 🤭😉 glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed the video a lot. Kate said while out of breath "Oh, god" "Oh, shit" "What on earth is this hill?". Somehow, so funny the way she said it. I started my motorcycle riding from dirt, so I know how physically it takes to ride.
Thanks for doing Salter Fell (So I don't have to !!!) . Now I know why I always turn right at the Hark to Bounty, and never turn left. I was thinking of doing it on a road bike as I've only ever seen the road up to the first gate (on Google street view), and I had no idea how rough the road was. Looking forward to you doing it on your GS !!
Haha wow imagine if you'd had gone on your road bike!! 😬 glad I could show you what it looks like 👍🏻
Great video Kate your a lot better than me on the loose stuff saying that your a lot better than me on tarmac I'm just happy to stay upright these days Hope the Channel keeps growing for you and take care !!
Haha staying upright is defo the aim of the game! 🤣
It's amazing just how physical it is to ride off road, good riding Kate 👌
Thanks Martin you legend!
I was waiting for the Shakira line! :D hahaha.... Well bloomin done Kate, this was such an awesome video. I really must get up norf on a bike and explore some of these trails, they look epic.... views for miles an miles!
Rocks are tough... I can't imagine how the handicap of bra strap down hinders... but can only assume sitting on a bollock is similar! :D hahahaha
This was quite possibly my favourite video I've seen from your channel, is so very awesome seeing someone who loves motorcycles, pushing their boundaries and giving it a go.... the Sinis done itself proud... but more importantly, you did too. Fanfookintastic stuff Kate, well bloomin done!
Hippo!!!!! Hey hey hey! Your comment just made my whole night!!! I'm glad you loved it! I had so much fun on the day, glad it came across. Also, I can't mentioned hip's without throwing in a Shakira line 🤣 when you come up narthhh, give me and Mike a shout 🙌
@@UsernameKate Mike def seems like a very handy satnav, can I download him off the Android store? :D
For sure will see if you guys are about, if I do miles, it'll be on an adv bike unless I tuck my Beta in the van, so I'll be bricking it (in a good way) too! :D
Brilliant Kate, well done 👍 love the honesty in your reactions. Really entertaining video.. looking forward to your continued adventure. Pedro moto watch out!
Thanks for the love Stevie! 😊
Crikey that scenery though 👌
Salter Fell road is where I went as a learner rider 25 years ago .. back in the day to get some practise in on my Honda XLR250 , I ride a 1200 Super Tenere nowadays .. bit heavy for risking on greenlanes 😁
No way!! Does it look the same? Or has much changed? And yea, I'd like to take a light enduro bike over there as well!
I've got a xl250r 1983. first pro link model, drum brakes front and rear and round headlight. Tax and mot exempt next year
Bloody love Salter Fell!
It's stunning isn't it!
@@UsernameKate indeed! It’s been too long and I live close so really should get my act together and go enjoy it again! Looking forward to the video of the next section 👍🏼
Awesome Kate👏👏
Thanks Andy!
Both you and the Sinnis did brilliant! Get yourselves over to the Peak District for more lanes. P.s. the 'diggers' were forage harvesters.
we will be over there in summer as mikes been getting my beta alp ready
@@UsernameKate maybe see you out and about then👍
They have small wheels and not much suspension travel. I think you're doing really well. I suspect my f800gs with anakee wild would breeze through there
Thanks Chris! :)
All the work that went into building those stone walls. Wonderful scenery, looks like a fun ride except the ruts! I enjoy fire roads (green lanes), I have plenty of them near me but they are reserved for pedestrians only. Looks like you did a good job and it’s a fun series.
Thanks Bill!! I defo had fun..glad you're enjoying it so far! 😊
Lol 😂 crap the Sinnis Terrain up hills aren’t they Kate? I toured Skye on mine and the hills was a nightmare, but it did well rest of trip fully loaded with 14 stone and camping gear and bag full of clothes. 💪 roll on when I come to see you for a GS. Stay Safe, Ride Safe.
About that.. I've quit my Sales job to be a full time content creator/ youtuber 😬 I believe it's a real job nowadays 😅
I just caught your video saying you quit, good luck on your adventure mate hope it all works out for you, don’t give up 🤟
@@tourerbing764 I won't 😊 thanks! P.s if you still want a bike... ask for Lukas! 😊 he's a great salesman
What a beautiful ride!
A great day out!
Great ride kate, bet that gave the arms a good workout
Great view though worth getting out for that
Be well and stay safe
Aye! Defo worth getting out of bed for that days riding!
Nice work, Kate. Leave Mike to prop the gate open for himself! 🤣
good effort footpegs your not confident with standing on is no fun and dangerous too.
Great video Kate.
Thanks Antony!
The blue speedo on the white bike definitely looks better.
100%
Hi Kate, when you cross Salter fell you are actually on the historic Hornby Road and therefore not "off roading" However the ambulance will not come and get you if you need help you must get yourself off the fell ( first farm at the far end are very helpfull ) It's a while since I did it on the GS must pay another visit. Cheers
Awesome, never knew! 😊👍
Nice ride
It was a great ride 😊
@@UsernameKate nice to get to go on these different bikes. Long time since been on a 125 lol.
My hands are sweaty and my eyes wide open....absolute scary stuff 😳😳😳😳
😬😬😬 it was scary but good scary lol
Ok 👍👌 Kate
So proud of you for conquering your fear, you did amazingly well
"Oh, God, I feel like I'm going to"...ahem..."shit meself" 💩 🤣
It's nice to see others traveling, or out on day trips on a 125cc. The bike you are on seems to be an interesting one. Basically it's perfect for a variety of conditions. It's nice and light, dependable, great on ⛽ mileage. Actually these factors are why I went down to a 125 myself, also the very important fact that you can ride and sight see at a safer speed...
I came from riding very big bikes and after 15 years of power and speed, I was ready for a more relaxed but still adventurous riding style.
After looking at many 125's I ended up getting a Zontes Scrambler G1, and added some Shad SR38 saddle bags, and a tank bag for traveling 👍
Have fun and enjoy the ride, road experience always comes with time. You will be great on a bike! Only thing I see here is your partner should relax a bit more, and enjoy your wonderful company😉
I've been riding for 16 years 🤣
@@UsernameKate oops, my bad 😔
No problem! My personal bike is a BMW R1200GS but I like to ride all and any bikes on the channel to keep it varied! Hope you are well 😊

A rare sight in the UK 🤣
Hang on in there Kate rather you than me ! I'm waiting for my new gs and would think seriously before taking it off road ! Love me some smooth tarmac 😁 good luck with the new venture 👍
DARON!!! Not long now until March baby!! 💪 I bet you absolutely can't wait! 😊
‘I feel like I’m going to shit meself…’… 😂👍
I can obviously see that you are a country girl at heart! Lol. Well done kid for managing not to fall off as yet. Perhaps in the summer you could try the same track again on a bike more suitable for green lanes? I know it's a bit obvious but, next time you do some green lanes, try a sports bra.🤣.
🤣🤣🤣 wise words Keith LOL and thanks for the kind words as always 👍
Really enjoyed watching this epic video. How’s the Sinnis coping with the trip so far ? 🤘
The Sinnis' went back but they did really well!! 😊
5:20 on...i just wish we had narrow roads like that where I live to ride out my Sinnis Terrain on.
Haha, well done kate, off road is tiring. I must admit to having a sneaky vision when you mentioned bra strap, sorry:-)
That looked fun 🤩
Mike is bril but you are brave❤️
Hold the select button to change the dash colour 👌👌
💪💪💪
Great stuff. It's not easy is it, can you imagine yourself doing it on the GS?
Not on my full height GS, it'd defo be going over 🤣
Mike makes that look like a bloody grom 🤣🤣
how rude!!! haha
@@mikepye86 not my fault your so tall lol
I'll take the tall part 😂 thought it was a comment about my weight
Lady. I only got two words to say to ya.............. HOT CHOCOLATE !!!!
Like Hippo Drones said well done Kate. I have the same bike and the hip cramp is unforgiving off road. How did you find the front grip when using the rear brake? (Linked brakes for those who don't know) I really struggled going down hill on rocks in my "greenlaning with Exeter Rider" video. I'd love it if you could find a minute to check it out, you'll see it's not just you haha. If only the bike had 21" front wheel and ABS it would be perfect. I've stuck notifications on for the next installment 👍
I watched it with Mike! We really enjoyed it :)
Good Test for Sinnis..... :0
Omg where is this? Think a 300cc Kawasaki versys would love it 😊
Salter Fell! 😊

Hi there, thanks for the video, the 125 seems do ok. What type of tyres are been used. Difficult terrain. 😀
Not sure what the tyres were. All I know if they weren't for mud 🤣
I'm late to the party again 😅 Great video as ever Kate but a quick question? What's wrong with tractors? We've just returned from a week in Scotland on my Father in Laws farm where he had me driving his machinery including tractors😅👍
Haha tractors just freak me out. The big wheels 🤢 wouldn't want anything to go wrong near those!
