Back when Lemonade came out, Streaming really blew up and took over physical sales fully. She withheld and didn’t make it available anywhere besides TIDAL for years. A lot of people would try to say her “streams would have been bigger if she put it out” but in this song, she’s saying she couldn’t care less. Her success is not dependent on her sales/streams hence “it can’t be quantified”
Global citizen festival is in South africa, hence its written MANDELA 100 on top,was a tribute to Madiba ❤ stadium is in Johannesburg.. same place Chris brown will be preforming at in December
Album was dropped after Lemonade and 444. This is a reconciliation album that celebrates their love and commitment to each other. That’s it in a nutshell. I believe they recorded this album in Paris and Jamaica.
I havent seen anyone point out that this album was dropped in the middle of the joint tour with Beyonce & Jay Z "On The Run 2". On the final date of the European Leg of the World Tour, at the end of the show on screen it just said the words EVERYTHING IS LOVE and the album was dropped
My favorite song on the album is “NICE.” I love when Bey talks to her shit. Jay Z wrote Dr. Dre’s song “Still Dre”. That’s why they sampled it on 713. My mom had this album on repeat when it came out, but I understand this album as an adult.
If I gave two fucks, meaning if she actually cared about streaming numbers (she doesn’t) she would have put lemonade on Spotify to get the highest stats. She put it on Spotify years later because she didn’t care, just so the fans with Spotify could actually listen there now. Shes tell you in plan words she’s an artist not a product, their whole ministry is that music cannot be made right if you don’t actually love it.
Beyoncé = Lemonade Jay-Z = 4:44 Beyoncé and Jay-Z = The Carters They both told their story about the infidelity and hard times through their marriage. They came together at the end to show they worked it out.
She put lemonade on Spotify years later not when it came out.
Spotify begged her to allow them to put Lemonade on their platform. It was released only on Tidal at first.

It could definitely be a grower. Years later, I love every song on this album, now.

He wrote Still DRE not The Next Episode
When it first came out she didn’t put it on Spotify! Then months later she put it.
it was 3 years later that she put Lemonade on spotify, definitely not months.
Global citizen is in Africa
This is older Adult music!
I don't know if many realise he tells the beginning of he and Beyonce's relationship. There is a photo of Jay, Beyonce, and Steve Stoute at NOBU.

Beyonces said since the late 2010s she hates how music is about the dollar not the talent anymore

Is 4:44 worth reacting to ?
@@HavenReactyes but it is very lack luster for non hip hop fans
