He freestyled his hits. Like James Brown. Although Bobby Bird helped his ideas to come together and make songs. Mr. Brown would often be writing new music while he was performing his others songs LIVE. He'd have thins he'd adlib during songs he was performing and he'd remember what he'd say that he liked and think of what else could go with it. Its why much of his music sounds like slogans: "Paid the cost to be the boss", "I don't know karate but i know ka-razy", "Get on up", "Get on up of that thang and dance", "Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud"-(which is a songhe hates writing bcz he felt black ppl should be proud to be black already but in order to build us up and motivate us forward, he had to first get us to love ourselves and be proud of ourselves. So he made the slogan/chant for us to keep singing until we felt and meant the lyrics we were singing)...crazier than that is he was also listening to every instrument playing and could tell who messed up even a little bit, all the time. And he knew if the dancers missed a step. So if you've ever seen old footage of hjs concerts and see him flash open his hand to the right or left, once or a few times. He was telling whomever messed up that he caught it, he fined everyone $5 for everytime they messed up. One flash=$5, 3 or4 flashes=$15-$20. Artist like him, R Kelly, Prince, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Blind Fury are mind blowing artist that are ultra special. R Kelly could also play piano and I believe he taught himself. And he could also dance. R Kelly, was a genius in a elite club of musical geniuses.. He was incredible as an artist 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 ❗️❗️❗️❗️ 50:20 exactly.
