It depends on the year of your car. For some models you need to remove the brace underneath the subframe. This was the case for me, as it is a later mk1 model
@@KripticGorilla This car is a 1998. It's true about the cat. In my case I had a de-cat pipe, so it didn't matter, but if you want to retain the standard cat, you need one from an earlier model. I got this car from a company in the south of England.
@@cyber.octane I’m thinking about purchasing the Malian exhaust but I’ll still keep the stock manifold and cat, do you think it’ll still sound as deep and aggressive or not so much? Thanks
@@crownfreddo44 I think with the cat it is a lot quieter. I haven't tried that, but usually a cat silences an exhaust system a lot. The exhaust also comes with a removable baffle, and it makes a big difference if you want a more subtle tone - I usually keep the baffle in for local driving. From the videos I have seen, a standard manifold and cat sounds good with the Malian system and no baffle
@@crownfreddo44 not sure how different they are but i had the manzo cat back on my 1.6 miata and it was okay. The reason i say it was okay was because of the drone. What i really liked about the manzo tho is that it had a really nice tone to it. At the top end it would sound amazing but normal driving and highway driving was pure DRONE. I probably had the exhaust on for like a week but my dad got fed up with it lol. Im 15 so i cant even drive it yet but ive already bought coilovers, sway bar kit, i did the timing belt and water pump etc. The current setup is a solo muffler and resonator (basically magnaflow). Its a 2.25 inch exhaust from the cat. Sounds very nice. Perfect medium and has zero rasp.
When someone insults my car: 0:25 "what? i cant hear you"
Looked like a video game in the thumbnail
Did it require any modifications or it fit

@@cyber.octanewhat year do u have? I’ve heard that some later models have longer cats so most pipes need to be modified, did u run into this issue?
@@cyber.octanealso where did u buy it?

@@cyber.octane ah ok so you have the decat pipe too?
do you got video of it driving?
Hi, unfortunately I don't at the moment, but I would like to get a video of it driving soon!
how many db when in first gean and how many db when in last?
It depends on how much throttle and revs you use. I have no idea of the actual db level, but anything above 2000rpm is pretty loud!
That’s fucking loud :)
It is! The video doesn't really do it justice but it's a very deep sound in person

Well the camera is right behind the exhaust lol but record it driving on the road for sure! 👍

Couldn’t get a worser exhaust setup for this car
