Goodwood FOS 2015 and Valentino Rossi Interview
🤮
I recognize that note!
C est ma vidéo préférée 🤩
this was fantastic great trip :)
That is so hot watching you fire that 600 up. I so would just hop on that thumping beast after you kickstart it and sit on it while it’s warming up…. Take it for a proper rip! Rawwwr
does it really sit that low?
Hi, I feel like this exhaust sits slightly differently on each car, but it wasn't too bad for me as the car wasn't lowered. On a really low car the exhaust flanges might be close to the ground though
When someone insults my car: 0:25 "what? i cant hear you"
Did it require any modifications or it fit
It depends on the year of your car. For some models you need to remove the brace underneath the subframe. This was the case for me, as it is a later mk1 model
@@cyber.octanewhat year do u have? I’ve heard that some later models have longer cats so most pipes need to be modified, did u run into this issue?
@@cyber.octanealso where did u buy it?
@@KripticGorilla This car is a 1998. It's true about the cat. In my case I had a de-cat pipe, so it didn't matter, but if you want to retain the standard cat, you need one from an earlier model. I got this car from a company in the south of England.
@@cyber.octane ah ok so you have the decat pipe too?
Does the baffle make it that much quieter?
Yes, the baffle makes it significantly quieter. It is still reasonably loud with a de-cat, but nowhere near as loud as it is without the baffle fitted!
Every time I see the new Casino Square I feel a little sad. The old version was so iconic
what's that whining noise?
A lot of these engines just make that noise. I think it's simply to do with the type of head they use
I'm looking for one of those exhausts, where did you buy it?
The bike actually came with that exhaust already fitted, so I'm not sure where the previous owner got it from, and how long ago it was purchased
Couldn’t get a worser exhaust setup for this car
1987?
Yup, a 1987 twin-carb model
how many db when in first gean and how many db when in last?
It depends on how much throttle and revs you use. I have no idea of the actual db level, but anything above 2000rpm is pretty loud!
Hi mate, how did you manage to make the baffle easy to slide in and out of the exhaust? I got mine out when I got the exhaust but it won’t fit back in and I want to be able to insert and remove whenever
Hi, it actually took a bit of work. I filed down the edge of the baffle until I could just put it into the exhaust by hand. I just kept grinding the edge of the baffle and trying it until it felt like it would go in more easily. I find that the combination of grinding off some of the material from the actual baffle and just pushing the baffle in with my thumbs on each side seems to work
@@cyber.octane thanks for the reply and your advice. How did you sand it down?
@@aryanbakhai8334 I used a grinding wheel on the angle grinder at first to take material off quickly, then a metal hand file, and finally some sandpaper to smooth off any sharp or rough areas
@@cyber.octane That's great, I'll try the same. Thanks a lot!
What a great machine!
Bonjour voilà à m'acheter une moto comme sur votre vidéo Envoi moi svp un mail je suis intéressé merci
do you got video of it driving?
Hi, unfortunately I don't at the moment, but I would like to get a video of it driving soon!
Looked like a video game in the thumbnail
Nice
Nice easy start there dude. I start my old YZ490 like this guy ruclips.net/video/fjlcCoDKAPo/видео.html. 10 mins hard kicking like that to get her going and I hold the clutch in too when I kick over a bike. Only way to start a big 490 is jump high and hard.
That’s fucking loud :)
It is! The video doesn't really do it justice but it's a very deep sound in person
@@cyber.octane I’m thinking about purchasing the Malian exhaust but I’ll still keep the stock manifold and cat, do you think it’ll still sound as deep and aggressive or not so much? Thanks
@@crownfreddo44 I think with the cat it is a lot quieter. I haven't tried that, but usually a cat silences an exhaust system a lot. The exhaust also comes with a removable baffle, and it makes a big difference if you want a more subtle tone - I usually keep the baffle in for local driving. From the videos I have seen, a standard manifold and cat sounds good with the Malian system and no baffle
Well the camera is right behind the exhaust lol but record it driving on the road for sure! 👍
@@crownfreddo44 not sure how different they are but i had the manzo cat back on my 1.6 miata and it was okay. The reason i say it was okay was because of the drone. What i really liked about the manzo tho is that it had a really nice tone to it. At the top end it would sound amazing but normal driving and highway driving was pure DRONE. I probably had the exhaust on for like a week but my dad got fed up with it lol. Im 15 so i cant even drive it yet but ive already bought coilovers, sway bar kit, i did the timing belt and water pump etc. The current setup is a solo muffler and resonator (basically magnaflow). Its a 2.25 inch exhaust from the cat. Sounds very nice. Perfect medium and has zero rasp.
Hi. What exhaust is that? Very good Sound👍
Thanks! It has a White Brothers E-Series exhaust
It's not a compilation, just one start of one motorcycle but that was still good !😍
R u scared
What exhaust pipe size is it?
Hi, from memory it is a 2 inch diameter from the catalytic converter back, with twin 3 inch DTM exhaust tips
Thanks mate, sounds sweet👍
What exhaust is this?
Hi, it's a custom exhaust I had made. It's stainless steel, straight through from the cat back (it still has two catalytic converters and the standard manifold)
@@cyber.octane 👍 sounds great! 🚗 💨
Any info on the front forks please. Year and model.
Hi, the front yoke and forks are from a Suzuki RMZ450
Lo vende
Very nice! Is it a standard 1.4L or something else, it's hard for me to believe you are getting that sound even with an exhaust change
Hi, it is actually the standard 1.4 16V engine. I was very surprised too, as the exhaust system still has two catalytic converters fitted! Stainless steel just seems to have a great "ring" to it
I also had a 74’ TL 125 great bike
Is yrs all standard back box is
Hi, yes it's a standard backbox but I had a de-cat pipe and de-res section on in some of those clips
@@cyber.octane I thought it.might have I have 3 inch milltek ultimate exhaust sports cat rs clutch block mod rs centre section
That must sound good! I think the RS centre section makes a big difference
@@cyber.octane yes smaller resonator
Nice TL! I grew up riding a 1974 TL125, fun bike!
MX5 is the only answer 😂😂👍🏽🔥🔥
We love them we have two
@@cyber.octane yes one of my favorite cars
Love it bro!!!! Mx5 is always the answer
Did you require yolk mods for the usd forks?
Nice xr
