Why are you laughing? The fast population growth of Uzbekistan will be not good for it. Even though population growth can be potential economic growth, it's just one moment. Continuous rapid population growth in an environment with low social infrastructure and education rates causes difficulty of obtaining food and destruction of society.

I think a lot of these estimates are just too generous. I used the ined population simulator and even if Japan's fertility were to increase to 1.8 by next year and continue until the end of the century it would only have 70 million. I guess this updated estimation is either assuming a lot of these countries will have a massive recovery in fertility or that they will have mass immigration. I don't see the first happening.

Now a high birth rate often has to do with a lot of poverty. This ranking apparently assumes that e.g. India will be poor forever. But if more prosperity arises in India (the probability is high) and at least a per capita income of 10,000 dollars is reached (currently at 2,600), the birth rate will fall. Will Nigeria always remain poor? So I don't think the population numbers will look like this in 2100.
Why you thinking Nigeria never gonna grow they will grow they are not like india pakistan bangladesh who still stuck in 80s I think bangladesh density going to be more than Monaco and Pakistan and India really need to concentrate on development rather than religion conflicts.

But that doesn't mean it has to stay that way for the next 75 years. What do you know what will happen in the next 75 years? India could achieve greater prosperity, perhaps Nigeria too. Then the population will no longer grow as quickly.

I hope it doesn't go like this, but I love the consistency of the European countries. Really cool how they could keep that up. There's only enough land area for that many people and they respect it.
European countries have such small piece of land with huge population thats enough for that place except Russia . Same for Asian countries too . This is nothing worst to be depopulation atleast we are saving nature from getting burden.

@@NigerianPidgin Lol, to make estimations that far is impossible - so much can change. Even till 2100 is extremely imprecise. What is more or less accurate is only 10 next years.

@@ClarenceJoseph2011 yes Nigeria will have far higher density than DRC but Afghanistan will have 199 per square km and DRC similar with 183 per square km. Although DRC land is more habitable it has 2 times less arable land than Afghanistan and around 10 times less than Nigeria.
