Fits into almost each and every syllabus of any given college or school ; extremely well designed syllabus and surprisingly complete explanation of topic ....with only one motive and intention --- that is , of teaching his students as much as he can. Hats off to this you sir!!👍👍
Such a detailed explanation. I love the moment when sir says "this is important!" . Makes me write down the notes & highlight them. Thank you very much sir.
Awsome!! I'm majoring in Electronics in the university in Korea and I didn't understand these things. Now I can do!! Thanks to Neso Academy♡ ( I actually want to invite you to my class instead of prof. of my school. lollol )
I really like this explanation, at first I'm willing to give up on this topic but after seeing this, I feel like yes I can do it and the explanation is so understandable 😄 so thank you Sir for this video 🙏🏽
@nesoacademy sir at 7:00, why didn't we make a group with the other don't care condition if we have considered the previous don't care condition to be 1?
Take the Karnaugh map. In that map now temporarily remove all the don't cares. The group which is possible to form now will be with that single '1' -> Qn'Qn+1. Bring back those don't cares now to consideration. Can the existing grouping be simplified by including the don't care? The answer is yes and it is done by including the below don't care and now we have a simpler circuit whose expression is just Qn+1.
I like your lecture .there is no need to improve nd ur lecture r very much helpful and the most good thing is that these r in an well organised way.thanku to do this job.
your videos on sequential circuits are really help for me to practice all the latches and flipflops and the way your explaining the topics is very simple to understand .Thank you to neso academy. and my humble suggestion is to do videos regarding python programming sir
Your lecture is too easy to understand rather reading in books.I viewed almost 100 videos which is awesome especially flip flop topic. It helps me to prepare for my competitive exam...thanks a lot....
Really well explained sir. Really i should have found these before.... It would have reduced my burden.. I just found u the day before my final exam... Anyway, wonderful presentation and explanation... Hays off to u!
at the end of each clock pulse the value of Qn could be either high or low right? That is what makes the race around condition such an annoyance, the fact it gives unpredictabl out? tput?
sir as i see in the circuit there is the Q and Q(bar ) as an output but while you are making the T.T there is only one output.????what is the difference in T.t and characteristics table. ????? i have seen many video about it but there is not clarification about the truth table. while we giving the exam which table is should we make???? hope you will provide some information about the question i askk?????
These are superb works, Just a humble suggestion the lectures are numbered inside video. It would have been great to find out what is the lecture number for a student who dont know what are the topics following. Thanks
+Neso Academy I still think its quite better naming them by their serie number. It gets easier to search only one single video or bookmark them than searching them inside a playlist. But nice work indeed. Really appreciate it.
as my comment on "Introduction to JK flip flop" the result for special case (1,1,1) is racing condition, but why you write it Qn' ?? i know is toggle, but toggle is not Qn' right ?? because of racing we can not decide 0 or 1 right ?? still not get it
I think it's because we need to find the characteristic equation, which we cannot do so easily when we don't have a clear idea of the value of Qn for different values of J and K
Hey, I have an confusion In this JK f/f circuit diagram, when in previous Q=0 and Q(bar)=1, then in the SR latch, the inputs are 1 and 1. We avoid this input condition in SR f/f.....so what happens after? In the next state, what are the outputs of JK f/f? PLS answer.....NESO ACADEMY is great life-saver for me now-a-days.....eagerly waiting :)
if inputs are clock =1, j=1,k=1 Q=0 and Q(bar)=1, then in the SR latch, the inputs are 0 and 1 (after the first nand gate that is) and not 1 and 1 like you said.
What happened if I want plot 3 JK- Flip flops synchronous counter and J&k of A = c and J&k of B = 0 and J&k of C = 1. in this case I delete the FFB or not ? Please answer me 🌸

Thank you, you deserve to be a professor
Still watching this video after 8 years !! Very good explanation....

why we consider only one don't care and not both of them in a single k map

Good job
in k-map of Qn+1 shouldn't there be 3 pairs??
no because on the top part its J and K and on the bottom part is Qn, thats how he got all 3 things on the Kmap
i undestood it very well on a serious note i was confused with this concept but after watching your video i got it cleared thankyou so much for this

for syncronous counters
Previous video you mentioned the last case will give you a racing condition but you wrote toggle here. What does that mean?
on 2:24 what is Qn on the table ch.table ?
Thanks a lot sir 👌👍....
What if ...I change the order of Qn,J,K......does that matter
Really well explained Sir
check the sixth case in the characterization table, its coming wrong...take previous value of Qn into consideration too.
at the end of each clock pulse the value of Qn could be either high or low right?
That is what makes the race around condition such an annoyance, the fact it gives unpredictabl out?

Thankyou very much sir , for helpful video....................

Very Nice explanation, Thank you
what is a characteristic table and excitation table??
Sir
J = Q(n+1) + Q(n)
K=Q'(n+1) + Q'(n)
Sir please clarify this I am getting different than answer ???
You have two terms: you did not consider the "don't care" in your K map.
In SR Flip Flop, we determine the value of Qn+1 through K-Map. But in JK Flip Flop we are determining the value of J and K through K-Map. why so?
who else thought there is a fly near your ear because of video sounds?
You helped so much clarifying everything for me thank you
THANK YOU
Thank you sir
If we know the Qn and Qn+1 from a situation diagram how do we find J and K ?
Love from india❤️
He is from India
you save my time and thanks
awesome sir..keep uploading videos !
You are awesome! Thanks from Germany!
i couldn't follow after the excitation table once the k-map started.. how r u doing that? i didn't understand.
You are really awesome.........
From my side 10,00000 likes for you great affort sir.

very nice lectures and easy to understand tq so much ..
Truth Table and Characteristic Table result the same, so why bother we trying to find Characteristic Table?
I think it's because we need to find the characteristic equation, which we cannot do so easily when we don't have a clear idea of the value of Qn for different values of J and K
Sir if I fill the k map table vertically my answer differs , is it ok or wrong?
Actually answer should match but it isn't...
Sir. U just great
Hey, I have an confusion

if inputs are clock =1, j=1,k=1 Q=0 and Q(bar)=1, then in the SR latch, the inputs are 0 and 1 (after the first nand gate that is) and not 1 and 1 like you said.
I have confusion i.e nand is used for flipflop but table is for nors
i have a question that there is only one k-map for Qn+1 in sr ,then why in jk we are making two k-maps?
jamal khan that's because we have two output there.
living legend Neso academy
Sir can you please let us know why did we draw K maps for J/K/Q(n+1) ?
Thanks sir
good explanation
