I have paused with machine knitting for several years. What a great pleasure to find out you are still here and active. You have teached me all what to know about knitting on my machines. Thank you very much!! ❤️ (I am german. Please excuse my bad english)
This video was released at just the perfect time! We are working on socks in a knitting class; the manual wrap and the automatic wrap were confusing. Your close-up really helped show how the wraps are worked! Thank you!!
Great! It makes me so happy when my videos can help out a knitting group. I certainly know what it's like to plan demonstrations and classes and need a new one every month!
Very nice video. I wonder if you could put on some videos how to make different kinds of cables, trellis etc... Thank you so much. I watch your interesting and useful videos from Italy! thank you
Diana, your explanations and delivery are first class! I use short rowing in hand knitting- so I wasn’t afraid to try it on my machines. However, I have always done it with blind faith that it will work. This has made it so much easier to understand what’s going on and I’m pretty sure will make it easier for me to do it in both hand and machine knitting! Thank you so much!
I think short-rowing is so much easier to do with a machine! I'm so glad someone asked this question, since I'm getting feedback that it helps with understanding the underlying principles.
Draw your shape on graph paper and calculate shape based on your knitting gauge. Generally, I do the same toe on every sock, only varying the width, because knitting is so stretchy.
Best visual and verbal discription of short rowing I have seen any where.
Wow! Thanks so much.
Diana is a fantastic teacher!

Thanks!
Thank you , how do we do a toe with a very big toe? It is not a point, but more a false piramide a triangle with à long slope. 😊

And it really isn't difficult.
