Every so often I come back to rewatch this set, easily the best 5 on 5 ever, one of the greatest FG sets of all time, and one of the single most impressive individual runs in any game or sport I’ve had the pleasure to witness. Legendary stuff here.

I never saw this but I just watched snake 5-0 or 4-0 in SF6 and they talked about this match within that video.

You know you're great when you have Fans from around the world. I even heard their is a huge Fanbase in Japan that loves SnakEyez Gief and root for him every time he plays.
So much epic, and I seriously, seriously thought it was over, but I kept watching, because you never NEVER know when a Moment In Fighting Game History will take place.
This became one of those moments.

Actually I still think CANTONA is better than SnakeEyez. but he's definitely #2 in the world for sure.

One of the greatest performances ever with a low-tier character no less. The poise, intelligence and constant clutch after clutch. Nothing short of hype and it never gets old. Much props to you Snake Eyez, you are a FGC legend, Zangief style!
Gief is not even close to low tier in USFIV lol, close to a top 10 in that version in fact.

I have seen snake eyes pull of some ridiculous shit but this takes the cake. Even though he obviously better than anyone there, playing five top tier guys in a row is tiring and just plain brutal. Mad props to snake eyes and hope he does well and Capcom finals.

Wow. Zangief was actually very menacing in SFIV. The walkspeed, the greenhand links to get in your face, the footsies and whiff punishment. So terrifying.
As a longtime SFIV player I can tell you, yes, Zangief in IV is absolutely terrifying. 2 Frame SPD means you better have frame perfect pressure or you are about to go on a trip, among the things you mentioned.

I'm sure Zangief is not a low tier in USF4. But is a character that struggles against a lot of characters and situations. And, as a grappler, have to play with mindsets, conditioning and the fear factor (ElCubanoLoco was a big victim of the last one). SnakeEyez is a fucking legend.

Pretty sure that is how he is used to play. A lot of good players used to play with gamepad and use them in Big turnaments. MenaRD, Snake Eyez, etc.
