@@hyde_stopStealingMyUsername A quiz show created in 1964, where the answer is given in the form of this: What is a question? (Note: These are the rules of the show, not necessarily the version the boys here are playing) Essentially, the contestants are presented with prompts that fall under one of 6 categories/topics. Each prompt has a dollar value attached to it, which you can gain if you answer correctly or lose if you answer incorrectly. For example, if you are at $0 and you incorrectly answer a $400 prompt you will then sit at -$400. Any contestant can buzz in to answer upon the prompt being fully stated (with the exception being the Daily Double prompts, where only the contestant that selected it may answer). The prompts are presented as "clues" where a sort of definition is given about a subject, person, location, etc. related to the topic. Your answer would then be phrased and given in the form a question. Daily Doubles are prompts randomly hidden amongst the regular prompts. When selected and before the prompt is shown, the contestant can bet any amount of the money they have based on their confidence with the topic. If correct, you win what you bet. If wrong, you lose what you bet. Final Jeopardy is the last prompt of the game and is posed to all three contestants. Like a Daily Double, you bet any amount you want based on your confidence with the topic. Unlike the Daily Double, when the prompt is read, you write down what your answer is in secret while a timer (set to the tune of the show's theme song) counts down. All the answers are revealed at the end, and the winner is the one who ends with the most money earned. _This is Jeopardy!_
So I think part of the problem here was that joey seemed like the one defining the rules from memory, on the fly. For streams in the past, the staff members would be more involved in the flow and making the rules work for the format.
A travesty of a Jeopardy game with barely answering as questions, no daily double, and free-for-all answering. *Chef's kiss*. They could just buy buzzers for like $10, lol.
I’ve commented on this before but the budget for these after darks for the games have seemed pretty low sometimes or maybe it’s the effort that went into the game itself. They could also do it by who taps the table first as a “buzzer”.

Ya quizzes are fun too, but they really oughta do actually jeopardy at some point. Like you said, this completely defeats the point of jeopardy in every sense. Buzzers aren't expensive in the slightest either, so it wouldn't be hard to just read the rules of jeopardy, buy a few buzzers, and do it again with new questions.
So a couple of things. 1. The reason there are buzzers is because you LOSE MONEY if you get it wrong so if ya dont buzz they just move on and no one loses money. 2. You actually HAVE to be exactly right in Jeopardy. I love the fact that in the Link's Awakening question Joey goes: "I was thinking if it was Oracle of Seasons or Oracle of Ages, I think it's Seasons, right?", no Joey, the game is Link's Awakening, it's literally written in the question (also, Link's Awakening wasn't released in 2019, the remake was released in that year, but the original was released in 1993, while the 2 Oracles were released both in 2001, and never got a remake)

As a Southeast Asian who doesnt know much about bread and jeopardy, this and the bread tasting stream are both great because I can just watch the americans and europeans mald in the comments
This was fun to follow and guess myself :D Q1: World of Warcraft! The circle whirpool is so recognize-able and the isles at each side are "wrapping around it" kinda. That's how I've always seen the map & I have only played a tiny bit back in the days. Then I mean TINY cause I didnt get past lvl 20, before making a new char like 4times. Also played on a custom server where you leveled up way too fast, so was just farming exp, without doing much else, not even looking at the map cause it was no point. - Yeah, i was correct :D Q2: Terraria? I've never seen a map of Terraria but that was the only game i could think of, that looked resembling to the place, even though it totally is not :D - Ah, Hollow Knight. Never played it, but looked nice. Q3: Tetris? Can't think about any other early games back then. Maybe Pong :D But I'll go for Tetris. - OH, that game. I've only seen it on documentary and sites, but it's cool that game gained a representation like that. Resembles the Asteroids game on the computers at around 1995-2000 or something. I played alot of that game at the after-school building ^^ Q4: Rockstars GTA? - Figured, since so many people are like "Your game is ruining my child's mindset and childhood" or w.e. Lawsuits that rockstar has most likely won. Could also be lawsuits from other companies accusing them. or opposite, of copying each other, and in-game characters/npc representing the "victim". Q5: Portal? I Know it ain't portal, but only game I can think of with "travel across place" options. - Bioshock, that's a shocker for me, didnt play it, only heard about the gameplay, and remember the face of the girl, but yeah, that's about it :D Q6: Punisher? I KNOW THE GAME, AND ITS NOT THAT. Pretty sure it starts on M....MAX PAYNE!! ...Right? - YES, that sat so far in. I KNEW the game but dang it's been too many games on M lately, and they also said "from the series Matrix", which made my brain so scrambled xD Q7: Bayonetta? I dunno :D - hahha, I just guessed because of "the hair as a conduit" and "Wicked Weaves" :D Points for me. Q8: Skyrim? Figures since you are the dovakiin, and talk about dragons. - Haha, never played that either, just seen others play. AND i also guessed it straight away, from the "Dovakiin" line, while i sat here confused why they took so long to guess :D Q9: Sub-zero, he can freeze enemies and send ice towards the enemy. - haha, really so fun to see their realise them after their answers been written :D Q10: Red dead? dunno :) - yeah wouldn't know that :D Q11: Fortnite Maybe? - ah, Genshin is kinda different :D But i just assumed it was one of the new maps for fortnite :D Q12: That is fortnite for sure! - yeah the map you always associate with the game. Classic now. Q13: Smash bros? no maybe its the Street fighter serie! - omg really? Pubg!? xD That's the most wacky answer I'd say :D Q14: Games done quick, or something like that. Poobear has been on a lot of them. - yeah i was certaint it was 4 letters, but apparently GDQ is accepted, so thats good. Q15: Probably Dota, right? - Dota and Dota 2 are both correct to say in my opinion. Dota in general, came from Warcraft3 Custom games, and even though people were good at it, Dota 2, became "The Dota" when it came out, and lots of people playing Dota, went over to Dota 2. The sole reason its named Dota 2, is because it gained an own platform, instead of being inside of the Warcraft 3 Client. Total points/cash score mid-way: $2200 , I'm in the lead between "us 4" :D That's fun, and I mostly just play League now adays since like 2017 ^^' Q16: Right now, its League right? either that or CS:GO, though i just feel like CS:GO has fallen off a bit. As has League, but just feels like more people in countries has started to play more of League. - Well, it figures, Summit and other people have started to try play competative again, and it has always had a big face in the world of Esports so..But that won't give me points since i said League. Q17: Animal Crossing New horizon, could also been a question without the hint too, though the hint is way too obvious. - Yes, not that difficult really :D but then again it was "actual jeopardy $100" :p Q18: Super mario party?`If it is Super mario party 2, that doesn't count, since I said the first one. Could also be a Smash game, but dont think so. - Oh, that was surprising. So that's why so many people had Luigi's mansion then :D Q19: i dunno any other "link's awakening" SO I stil go for The Legends of Zelda, and says its a trick question. - Yeah that was a weird knowledge question xD Q20: Q-BERT! He's so charming in Wreck-it Ralph. IF I hadn't seen that movie, I wouldn't had remembered his name. - Yeah, Thank you Ralph! But I didn't know it was Q*bert with the * symbol and not the - symbol. Though, you don't Pronounce the symbol, so its valid and good. Q21: That sounds like a dumb ban xD I' will guess China, since they got bans and limitations on so many things. - It's nice to see that South Korea want their students to study at school and not sleep :) Q22: Didn't it come from Minecraft? :s But that's not made by Valve, so I'll just say Half-life 2. - Ah, I dunno where they said that. Guess I Gotta play through it again. Makes sense it's not in Half-Life, though it would been fun if they said it there too xD Q23: Solid Snake, and Cloud Strife, I guess Cloud makes more sense than Rayman, and I can't think of other non-nintendo characters atm.. - Atleast i knew Snake. I never played smash, So I don't remember the rooster of fighters. Sonic makes sense, but I can't even picture him on the rooster list :D - NO points since I only had half correct. Q24: The Last of us 2, since its a re-visit. Though it sounds wrong cause its a $500 question. - That's why it sounded so wrong, because it asked about what the original name for the serie of game was, not what the sequal was named :D Shame. I will stand here with Connor and get the zero on that one. Q25: I dunno, and I won't get second place most likely, cause of this, even though I was in the lead after 15. Because of the Q24 and this, I might end up on last place of "the four of us" ^^' :D - So funny that Garnt knows the answer just because how Connor acts ^^ Final Jeopardy: All in, bet $2800 , it's either go big or go home, no chicken out here :D - I have no idea xD But I guess they atleast have some incline. I know it's above 150 trash taste, so I'll say November 16th, 2021, though that might be way too early, I dont remember when they had the number 1 ^^' - Haha, i was that far off xD I was gonna jokingly say 28th of April 2022, but then changed it to 2021 because i just felt 2022 was way too late, and then changed the month and day because it felt too early again xD. If i guessed 28th of April 2021, I would gotten the closest by 2days xD Oh well. Still fun :D And fun to see how a brain can try to be fast and slow technically when reading through numbers and such. Total points/cash score: $0 xD But oh well, I had fun following :D And it was Shared Second place since only 1 guy gained the win on Final Jeopardy and everyone bet all :D Besides Garnt who safe-bet $500 off, incase someone else won it, so he would secure second xD That sneak.
Having followed Jeopardy for the better part of my life, watching the boys take turns stomping on the basic ruleset for every question is physically painful. This is my Room 101. I must be some sort of masochist, because this is till the funniest shit I've seen this week.

SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM FOR THE TRASH TASTE FOLKS: the one thing i wish would improve and make after dark seem more legit is if they had someone who knows the rules and can dictate how the game is played. Sometimes it seems like the staff doesnt even know, which is a lil weird? Like why does the chat know the rules more than the ppl who prepped it? Sometime they play games and its always scuffed, they dont follow the rules, or again, the staff themselves dont know the rules so they make something up on the fly. It can get a little frustrating. They need like a Stevie from Good Mythical Morning. Someone to move the segments along, keep things orderly, do enough research/planning but still keep things fun In addition, because they dont know the rules and the games SEEM not as planned, it feels half assed and it takes the competitiveness out of the games, making it less engaging and fun to watch. Just hire someone or have someone do more planning around these streams if possible. Hell, i’ll do it LOL Im just scared the “meh, this is fine!” mentality may be the downfall of TT after dark or even the main TT podcast.
having chat as a bar for knowledge is terrible, bc chat will always know more, even when chat knows jack sh!t what they're talking about. but you also have the benefit of having 10 thousand people and if 1% of them know, well, 100 mfs talking in chat is a huge volume. this is specially true for trash taste chat where, well, everyone likes to show they know stuff (which is the usual). rarely there's a community where chat literally plays dumb (exists, but those are rare)
I'm just saying we're really appreciating the effort Ashley had put in to making the original after dark run of gameshows great. You could clearly see what some research, good graphics, and planning does to make a good concept to come out great
I feel bad since it seems obvious some of the issues are time constraint based since if you have a week for setting up a jeopardy game you can use a template that would show when things have been picked, do double jeopardy and do buzzers.
oh my goodness. touring and events have sapped their minds. Even as basic a question as Skyrim they had to question it super hard. Is this what visiting Grandpa daily and watching him in real time lose memory is like?
Having no familiarity with jeopardy, the answering with a question gimmick doesnt add anything at all to the entertainment value, it was apparently just a way for jeopardy to look different from other gameshows. If anything, answering with a question is so jarring. It doesn't take any thought at all to turn the '[ANSWER]' into 'what is [ANSWER]?' just to follow the gimmick. As for other jeopardy, I couldn't be bothered looking up what else was missing because this is already entertaining enough just as a normal quiz night for me and I already wasted my time looking up how answering a question with another question adds entertainment value. (Answer: it doesnt.)
How is Joey trying to figure out if the Zelda question is Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons when it literally says the name of the game, Link's Awakening, in the question...
Its always a good day when Trash Taste After Dark uploads. I rarely even watch actual Trash Taste anymore cause after dark is better and more immersive in my opinion.

Awesome show! Now get Pete as a host and this get's a 11 out of 10. Also all three of you not getting Skyrim did hurt my gamer soul a little bit :D
i dont usually watch these guys content but seeing connor IMMEDETLY FUCK EVERYTHING UP at the very first question was perfect.
As a Southeast Asian who doesnt know much about bread and jeopardy, this and the bread tasting stream are both great because I can just watch the americans and europeans mald in the comments
I love seeing the whites mald.
I got so excited seeing a new after dark episode only to realize that for the past couple after dark streams, I've been able to watch them live
They really just straight up did not play Jeopardy.
This was fun to follow and guess myself :D
Q1: World of Warcraft!
- Yeah, i was correct :D
Q2: Terraria? I've never seen a map of Terraria but that was the only game i could think of, that looked resembling to the place, even though it totally is not :D
- Ah, Hollow Knight.
I played alot of that game at the after-school building ^^
Q4: Rockstars GTA?
- Figured, since so many people are like "Your game is ruining my child's mindset and childhood" or w.e. Lawsuits that rockstar has most likely won. Could also be lawsuits from other companies accusing them. or opposite, of copying each other, and in-game characters/npc representing the "victim".
Q5: Portal? I Know it ain't portal, but only game I can think of with "travel across place" options.
- Bioshock, that's a shocker for me, didnt play it, only heard about the gameplay, and remember the face of the girl, but yeah, that's about it :D
Q6: Punisher? I KNOW THE GAME, AND ITS NOT THAT. Pretty sure it starts on M....MAX PAYNE!! ...Right?
- YES, that sat so far in. I KNEW the game but dang it's been too many games on M lately, and they also said "from the series Matrix", which made my brain so scrambled xD
Q7: Bayonetta? I dunno :D
- hahha, I just guessed because of "the hair as a conduit" and "Wicked Weaves" :D Points for me.
Q8: Skyrim? Figures since you are the dovakiin, and talk about dragons.
- Haha, never played that either, just seen others play. AND i also guessed it straight away, from the "Dovakiin" line, while i sat here confused why they took so long to guess :D
Q9: Sub-zero, he can freeze enemies and send ice towards the enemy.
- haha, really so fun to see their realise them after their answers been written :D
Q10: Red dead? dunno :)
- yeah wouldn't know that :D
Q11: Fortnite Maybe?
- ah, Genshin is kinda different :D But i just assumed it was one of the new maps for fortnite :D
Q12: That is fortnite for sure!
- yeah the map you always associate with the game. Classic now.
Q13: Smash bros? no maybe its the Street fighter serie!
- omg really? Pubg!? xD That's the most wacky answer I'd say :D
Q14: Games done quick, or something like that.
Total points/cash score mid-way: $2200 , I'm in the lead between "us 4" :D That's fun, and I mostly just play League now adays since like 2017 ^^'
Q16: Right now, its League right? either that or CS:GO, though i just feel like CS:GO has fallen off a bit.
- Yes, not that difficult really :D but then again it was "actual jeopardy $100" :p
Q18: Super mario party?`If it is Super mario party 2, that doesn't count, since I said the first one. Could also be a Smash game, but dont think so.
- Oh, that was surprising. So that's why so many people had Luigi's mansion then :D
Q19: i dunno any other "link's awakening" SO I stil go for The Legends of Zelda, and says its a trick question.
- Yeah that was a weird knowledge question xD
Q20: Q-BERT!
- It's nice to see that South Korea want their students to study at school and not sleep :)
Q22: Didn't it come from Minecraft? :s But that's not made by Valve, so I'll just say Half-life 2.
- Ah, I dunno where they said that. Guess I Gotta play through it again. Makes sense it's not in Half-Life, though it would been fun if they said it there too xD
Q23: Solid Snake, and Cloud Strife, I guess Cloud makes more sense than Rayman, and I can't think of other non-nintendo characters atm..
- Atleast i knew Snake. I never played smash, So I don't remember the rooster of fighters. Sonic makes sense, but I can't even picture him on the rooster list :D
- NO points since I only had half correct.
Because of the Q24 and this, I might end up on last place of "the four of us" ^^' :D
- So funny that Garnt knows the answer just because how Connor acts ^^
Final Jeopardy: All in, bet $2800 , it's either go big or go home, no chicken out here :D - I have no idea xD But I guess they atleast have some incline. I know it's above 150 trash taste, so I'll say November 16th, 2021, though that might be way too early, I dont remember when they had the number 1 ^^'
- Haha, i was that far off xD I was gonna jokingly say 28th of April 2022, but then changed it to 2021 because i just felt 2022 was way too late, and then changed the month and day because it felt too early again xD.
Hell yeah more after dark content
This was the least Jeopardy like version of Jeopardy to ever exist LUL
"Evo moment 37 didn't die for this"
Damn, i can feel the salt
Having followed Jeopardy for the better part of my life, watching the boys take turns stomping on the basic ruleset for every question is physically painful. This is my Room 101.
I must be some sort of masochist, because this is till the funniest shit I've seen this week.
Joey, Connor, you officialy lost your gamer license for not immediately answering skyrim
Garnt... you passed, this time
The ending has to be one of the contenders for the best trash taste outtakes of this year.
“That is it for trash taste jeopardy-“ *ends*
Was just looking for this vod!
Ah yes for sure this is how i remember Jeopardy being played, a free for all
This is just a quiz game!
You all are waiting around for everyone to catch up.
I can't believe that none of the guys played Skyrim!! The literal GOAT, sold millions of quadrillions times, bazillions versions and noone played it! Daaaam boi...
The one where the boys play Jeopardy without the Jeopardy rules.
Anyone who hasn't played Skyrim needs their gamer cards revoked
Oh hell yeah, I've been waiting for them to do something like this again
Oh my gosh...I was yelling Skyrim and I'm an old lady in my 50s! I'm shocked they didn't know that one.
EXACTLY! I'm not a gamer like at all but the amount memes I saw with Skyrim is insane
Coming in expecting jeopardy, got trivia game show 2.0 instead. I'm fine with that, at least cdawgva didnt get the gamer W again 😂
SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM FOR THE TRASH TASTE FOLKS:
the one thing i wish would improve and make after dark seem more legit is if they had someone who knows the rules and can dictate how the game is played.
Someone to move the segments along, keep things orderly, do enough research/planning but still keep things fun
In addition, because they dont know the rules and the games SEEM not as planned, it feels half assed and it takes the competitiveness out of the games, making it less engaging and fun to watch. Just hire someone or have someone do more planning around these streams if possible. Hell, i’ll do it LOL
Im just scared the “meh, this is fine!” mentality may be the downfall of TT after dark or even the main TT podcast.
having chat as a bar for knowledge is terrible, bc chat will always know more, even when chat knows jack sh!t what they're talking about. but you also have the benefit of having 10 thousand people and if 1% of them know, well, 100 mfs talking in chat is a huge volume.
this is specially true for trash taste chat where, well, everyone likes to show they know stuff (which is the usual). rarely there's a community where chat literally plays dumb (exists, but those are rare)
The GameCube did not lunch with just one title . It had Luigi’s mansion, super monkey ball and wave race blue storm …..
You guys aren’t gamers, you didn’t know SKYRIM
Garnt was secretly the gamer all along
Out of all the American game shows, how did Jeopardy not make it across the pond?!
looking the chat burn for the skyrim question
I like how they're 2 questions in before they realize they need to answer with a question
I had 3400$ before the final jeapordy but there is no way I would have guessed the final jeapordy closer than Garnt
Glad to be here guys
Title of this episode should be "Jeopardy" with trash taste
Chat was the best part of this stream.
oh my goodness. touring and events have sapped their minds.
I completely agree, I've never even seen that gameshow before so I'm thoroughly enjoying this After Dark episode
6:51 "Assassin's Creed" killed me. AC is literally alternate history on Earth
I really missed the After Dark Streams! SO happy that they are back with more!
aint no way people in chat saying tetris for question 3 when tetris came out 12 years after that in 1984
There's so much to this episode that's wrong which makes it infinitely more entertaining.
How is Joey trying to figure out if the Zelda question is Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons when it literally says the name of the game, Link's Awakening, in the question...
The correcty answer to the Final Jeopardy was my birthday, which I think is pretty cool :D.
they proceed to explain jeopardy and jeopardy rules and proceed to play it like every other after dark quiz game lmao. love it.
Its always a good day when Trash Taste After Dark uploads. I rarely even watch actual Trash Taste anymore cause after dark is better and more immersive in my opinion.
This might be the least jeopardy version of jeopardy I have ever seen.
the fact none of them knew skyrim 😂
JOEY YOU ACTUAL MUPPET THE GAME IS CALLED THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING
Great to see the characteristics of CEO is slowly building up in Joey.
No joke, I guessed April 25th 2021 for that last question and couldn’t believe I got it that close without looking it up!
That ended rather abruptly
quiz games are always fun to watch but yea this is definitely not jeopardy LOL
This is not how Jeopardy works LOL
I am here for chats unanimous rage against them not immediately getting Skyrim
Everytime joey says "ive thought" of that" you take a shot
After watching the savage rules butchery, using Jeopardy! in the video title should be considered clickbait 🤣
That was great! Good fun!
