Truck made in 1956 and still an absolute workhouse. In the same way I love to see classic race cars still be driven like they were meant to be, seeing a 351 still being used for work makes me happy.

@@anthonionesbitt7721 thanks you so much Buddy I believe taking what you got and making it work ! The old cummins are fairly expensive to get 800 horsepower out of and be reliable you would need ceramic coated Pistons you would have to take your stock injectors out send them to a injection shop to be reflued for a larger CC output the cam would need to be degreed with the right keyway you would need a different turbo and manifold depending on the size radiator if you have the narrow radiator or the wide radiator which would be featured for the 1693 or the 3408 caterpillar or the KT Cummins you could get either or in the Peterbilts you more than likely have a wide radiator which means it takes up both sides of your Hood Pittsburgh Power talks about putting dual fuel lines meaning fuel lines from the front of the head and on the back of the head but really where your horsepower is you have to pull the liners that are in it now out machine the block for a press fit sleeve and get the block decked and heads resurfaced I'm not big on turning an engine more than 2,200 2300 RPMs Max people take 855 Cummins and turn them 2,700 RPMs they will drop a valve but you can get the horsepower out of a 855 it's probably going to cost you in the vicinity of 14 to 16 Grand what I would do personally is hunt down a KT 19 Cummins Truck Engine I've had a few they brought big money when I sold the trucks everyone loves a KT Cummins engine you can find them in generators construction equipment and other industrial equipment but if you want big horsepower you have two roads pick up a KT Cummins for 10 to 12,000 rebuild it maybe another six grand and have a thousand horsepower with monster torque you'll have to invest in a good clutch but they are very underrated the 3408 cat will not touch the KT Cummins hands down best engine I've ever had I still have one in my shop tore down I'm going to rebuild it one day

A few time I remember the drivers would accidentally forget to open the tail gate and the trucks would stand up in the air about 20 ft!
