Heavy or wider vehicles parked on any roadside must display a red light at the rear on right hand side at night. Also, not all roads are deemed suitable for roadside parking for heavy vehicles, it depends on local bylaws. I’ve had confirmation from AT (Auckland Transport), the local regulatory body, that it’s ok to park here. I’m also in constant dialogue with my neighbours to be sure It’s not an issue for them
