Awesome footage M8 ❤ hearing that kool azz..😎 "SAR" doing its thing.. Thanks 4 all the gr8 vids.. 👉 All the best on ya nxt journey.. Cheers paul.. The NAKI... 😊
I LOVE YER TRUCK!!!! I am in Santa Cruz California and sure wish we had SARs here! ESP the legends! KILLER COLORS AND JUST WOW!!! THX Fer posting content! Cheers driver!
Whangamata is my home town. Great perspective. We lived just south of Whanga opposite the transfer station. Was woken often to the sweet sound of an E9 powered Ultraliner logger. Thanks for sharing.
Ah yes, that beautiful exhaust sound on an equally beautiful rig! That rig of yours is just awesome, it's one of my favorites!! I assume it's running the X15 Euro 5 600 HP engine and Eaton 18 speed manual, right? Can you please do a couple ASMR's for me? First, I'd like a super long unedited in cab ASMR with windows down, beginning with engine start up at the beginning, shifting, jaking, takeoffs, idling at lights, etc, and engine shutdown at the end. And second, I'd like a super long unedited ASMR from this perspective as well, with everything mentioned above. ASMR videos help me fall asleep at night, and I'd love some super, super long ones on a W900 SAR Legend like this one! Please make each ASMR as long as possible - for me, the longer the ASMR's, the better! Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks mate for the over head view n sound combo , and quotes on bumping into low range , lol my brother stopped went thru gears all 5 8 times and high range wouldn't go , I said stop , let me look , well reduction was engaged, so it won't happen, old 15 direct ,
I took a 26m long roof over to Whitianga that way a couple of years ago. If people did what the pilots asked it would have been a bit less stressfull🙂Good learning curve though.
Nice route with great scenery. See you need to work the truck the whole way with very little level running. When you were pulling the long climb what gears were you using? Am I right to think around 4L, 4H and 5L ?
I was running empty in this vid after delivering my load of timber, so mostly the gear selection is more due to the tight corners than the engine pulling. Mostly the bottom of the high range.
We're all prone to fuck-ups and everyone will get lost-in-the-box sometime. It's how long it takes to realise it and remedy said fuck-up that shows the level of experience or lack of it.
Might just be the video angle bro but do NZ trucks not need to run side rail lights? Didn’t see any clearance or indicator lights up the side of the trailers when you were loading. Just curious, thinking of going to NZ and drive for a few years. Opposite of what the kiwis do over here I guess 😂
We do have both down the bottom under the coaming rail. The boss is old school and doesn’t run them down the roof on our units but the lower ones are there
@@Tricktrucker copy that. Old schools the way to go, these belonged out trucks more likely to be defected for a light out. Just more to keep on top of and at $30-40 a clearance light f that

@@Tricktrucker awesome, looking forward to them!!
My hat is off too you mate. That is one very narrow curvy road you are traveling and you didn't run anyone off the road. Great job mate.

Ah yes the old deep reduction 15 speeds. Haven’t driven one of them in a very long time!

whatever happened to the mighty Marmon, haven't seen it out for a long time? Great vids, cheers
Both of John's Marmons are long gone sadly. I believe one was written off. The other is still around somewhere with another owner I believe
@Tricktrucker Roger that, happy trails
