From "lift boy" to cargo pilot: Joey Diebolder aka Captain Joe started his career as a drop pilot for skydivers in the Allgäu region.
He transported up to 35 "loads", i.e. drop groups, per day to an altitude of 4000 meters. "Once I even managed to get back down faster than my dropped group," says the current first officer on the 747 fleet of cargo airline Cargolux.
In addition to his piloting duties, he runs one of the most successful aviation channels on RUclips under @Captain Joe. Every week, up to 1.4 million viewers follow him as he explains - in a generally understandable style - the background of flying in an honest and authentic way.

Tolles Interview! Fühle mich geehrt dass meine Videos hier nochmal Verwendung gefunden haben. Als Absetzpilot und Fluglehrer kann ich Joe's Perspektive und Erlebnisse voll nachvollziehen. Es gab mal bei Facebook die Seite Felix Gottwald Aviation. Ein Pilot bei Lufthansa Cargo. Sin Content ging hauptsächlich um die MD-11 was ich persönlich sehr interessant fand. Plötzlich hat man nichts mehr von ihm gehört. Weiss jemand was los ist?

Das könnte viele Gründe haben.. Easyjet Piloten z.b. durften von heute auf morgen nicht mehr aus dem Cockpit posten. Ich denke langfristig gesehen werden die Airlines das verbieten da man doch einen Trend nach oben sieht. Sowas kann wirklich sehr anstrengend sein und ich würde es sogar als zweit Job betrachten . Von der Gefahr mit der man der Airline schaden kann will ich gar nicht anfangen..
