Thanks for coming along with the series guys! If you just want to see the last day's work: it starts at 12:36 in the video :) Hope you enjoyed the recap!
Hey Alec, I commented this already but I don't think it will get enough likes to be seen by you, so, about your cheap tool buying habit: buy something nice or buy something twice
the recap is a cheaty content filler, because he only had 4 minutes of real new content for a video but google needs at least 10 minutes of video for monetisation, so how easier to produce additional "content" for nothing in a new episode than tacking the last bit to the previous episode and finish the series 1 episode earlier....work smart not hard....
New material starts @12:37. Love the videos, but I agree with some others. Us daily watchers don't need a recap. And for those who need one should ALREADY be watching your other videos.
If you follow him on Instagram, you'll see he is in Montana on Vacation, so he probably thought he had more content and needed filler. I've never seen him do it before, I'm just speculating though.
Andrew Delashaw Valid point. Craftsmen can always a problem with their product. Maybe not necessarily a flaw, but there’s always just that little step further we can take it.
The recap idea is nice for these longer projects. Rather than rewatching every episode for a recap and learning, putting them all in one is a nice touch. Great job friend!
I kinda like the recap, but maybe in a separate video after the knife is complete? Maybe for those who don't have time to watch every segment? Gives you an extra video out of one project as well :)
Absolutely stunning work, Mr. Steele. Thank you for sharing, and taking us on these journeys with you. I so look forward to each days video alerts. Your work, your attitude, your enthusiasm for your craft, and your ongoing quest for knowledge, as well as your willingness to share your mistakes, is a true inspiration.
I thinks you can find that in some ASMR videos too ... Here is a guy who's practicing his "PASSION", appreciate that without trying to break what he's believe ! He's not gonna make knifes every time, be patient x) (sorry if bad english)
"he's not going to make knifes every time" while watching a video about making knifes.plus I liked the wack wack more not as much... turn turn? I like some machining I'd just not prefer a ten video series mostly about machining
Really like the contrasting patten on the spine/back of the frame, like looking down at the top of an axe and seeing the wedge grain offset by the handle ;) Another nice build Alec!
A lot of people say that and he has been spending more money, but honestly for a lot of the new stuff, he is learning. If you buy nice an ruin it, not only do you buy twice, but you pay twice as much too. It is best to spend less to learn on, then upgrade. You are getting this saying form people skilled in their trade, so buying the best makes sense. For him to buy expensive bladesmithing tools makes sense, but machining he is still learning.
Alec, I really appreciate your videos. Your enthusiasm is really enjoyable. I also really like how you don't get demotivated by mistakes (Though very few.), and seemingly don't lose any momentum or enthusiasm. I think the hallmark of any great craftsman, any skilled person, is how they deal with mistakes -- instead of being demotivated, they take it as another opportunity to learn; to look at it from a different perspective, and actually appreciating it to some degree.
That starting B-roll segment was a nice recap. That pattern is gorgeous! Congrats on completion of your most technical piece yet! Your progress over this last year has been awesome to watch.
12min recap of 9 condensed episodes? I'd be fine with a condensed version released at the end of the project with photoshoot etc but not on the last episode before we get to see it finished. Especially annoying for viewers who watch multiple episodes in a row... Just a little feedback. I love your work Alec keep up the amazing cinematic content!
Bryan Willden it's different if you've just binge watched all 10 episodes in a row.. I always wait for Alec to finish his project then sit through the whole thing.. personal preference on how I like to watch i guess. For me the recap annoyed the hell out of me. Definitely should have been a separate video. If Alec wanted the video to be over 10 mins long then he should add a Q&A section or something else to the episode.
CON5T4R I think that's probally why he out a time stamp in his comment so you wouldn't have to watch the recap if you didn't want. Like I said though I liked it. Hopefully for people like me he does it on his next video, most people don't have the time to binge them all in a row. I get where your coming from though. It's gotta be hard to make videos for so many people with different viewing preferences.
I’m with Bryan. I appreciate that he put the timestamp in the comment, but honestly, I think the review was fine. Very well done, artistic. Remember too that many of the viewers, believe it or not, will be watching Alec Steele for the first time...Better to give them the context than just jump right into the final episode.
Can't believe I'm saying this about an Alec Steele video...but just skip to the end. I can understand you want to drag your projects out a bit but this shows it could have been finished on the last video. Don't let greedy practices ruin your channel!
His income is based on youtube videos, he probably needs a certain length in order to monetize them and make any money. He already works incredibly hard, don't make it more difficult by whining about doing a recap.
I agree with both of you. I wouldn't mind the recap if it was in the end instead of the beginning. BUT, he does have a Patreon with $307 a month so his income isn't based only on his videos. The recap was cool and all, but boring and annoying as I have watched all the videos and my memory is perfectly fine, so the recap could've been a cool 5 (or whatever it takes to make the video 10+ minutes) minute edit in the end of the video and that would be fine. Edit*: on social blade his estimated monthly earnings on RUclips are $1.7k-27.9k a month. Let's say it's the 1.7k, thats $2000 a month, and that's enough for a sustainable life. Even if it's like $700 thats $1000 a month which is also enough for a sustainable life. And don't forget the paid promotions and sponsors (skillshare, wix etc) I'm sure he's doing just fine.
Kyle Pittman agreed 100% first time ever I'm considering a thumbs down on an Alec steele video.. Please skip the recaps in the future Alec! Love your builds, your passion for leaning/trying new methods keep the videos coming! ❤️
Well he just posted a pic from Montana on his facebook, so i assume he is on a bit of a vacation, so these videos are here to fil a void in the schedule of uploads. Although im on the same ballpark as you with how i dont like this 90% recap video. It sure is better than getting nothing at all
+TheSatyrblue I don't think so(I'm from USA, but just read the laws for the U.K.), it is illegal to carry, but not to own. Now a balisong or OTF I think is banned and can't be carried, bought or sold, but to own is a grey area.
He said not for the foreseeable future. He has it in his head that he needs to put out videos everyday. And therefore wouldn't have time to do hammers.
I think Jamie did an outstanding job on the recap, it was especailly pleasing to watch :D And this knife goes together like it is meant to be, stunning piece!
Alec I fully agree with you that the motion of a folding Knife is awesome and just playing with it makes my whole day. Cant wait for your next build ^^
Kyle Winter he doesn't earn as much from three day builds . Same reason game of thrones isn't four 2 hour episodes why does he have to work for cheap if the traditional content creators arnt expected to ?
Love you Alec, but a recap is kind of unnecessary, not only because it'd be pretty weird to start watching this tutorial without watching all the parts before this one, but also you have more recap than new video, again, not trying to hate or anything, it's all love
Alec your videos helped me get through a difficult year of studyig abroad and not having my workshop and not being able to make ANYTHING. I would have gone crazy if it wasn't for your videos. Thank you :)
I spend allot of time skipping your vids. I have never done that. Re-cap, please no. Euro crap soundtrack please no. Mate get back to your roots and build, instruct and excite people with your passion. Thats what I wont to see. ps, bring back Sam.
seen the full serie and it is fun to watch you make mistakes and actually learn and solve the issue ,lot of proffessionals could learn that from you, cool project and thats a beautifull looking knive!!!
Yes the recap is most of the video, but it's also a 10 part build that we can't expect everyone to watch in full. In short, this video is also a summary/condensed version of the build for those that may not have the time. Edit: Did not realize he'd be making more parts until a few seconds ago. Your argument is now much more valid.
Please, please, please, Alec, make some Damascus steel armor! A breastplate, or even a shield would be amazing, and it would go GREAT with your swords! People, help me convince him if you agree with me.
Fantastic job.. looks amazing man.. especially considering that's your first liner lock! Can't wait for the next one. I think you might have found your calling! This was definitely my favorite build you've done so far!
Alec I say this with love I watched all 9 eps I really don't need a 12 min recap if your going to start doing this on all projects there's really no reason to watch any ep except the final one
didn't mind the recap really, was just a bit long as I, and I'm sure others, watch every single video we never miss a bit. Great Project! Can't wait for the next one
That recap was WAY unnecessary. You should've just put that out after. I'm guessing it was done because you ran out of stuff to film. Or just didn't want to film. Felt kinda lazy. Still love the vids though.
Don't milk us for money I'm slowly losing interest in being conned into watching another episode of yack yack. And my memory isn't rubbish I don't need a 12 minute recap for 4 min of additional footage
Great job Alec, the result is just waaaww. Congratulations on your first framelock. continue like that, I love your job, you're an artist, congratulations again. Hello from Belgium
If you do a recap don't make it most of the video please. I have watched every single video and this is honestly the only one i have not enjoyed fully. I think this is a general census your videos are incredible though man just feel this one was a bit "lets throw in a bunch of filler in the beginning"
A 12 minute recap? Seriously on a 16min video. Honestly the channel is just bombing for me at the moment. Don't get me wrong I love Alec and his skill and enthusiasm are incredible. But the videos lately are clearly just about money. Mass series of videos that could be done in a 10 minute video, 90% talking when one of the slogans of the channel is "less yack yack, more whack whack!" I've started watching the videos on 1.5 speed just to skip through all the chat. Sorry Alec love the videos love the amazing things you make and I'll continue to watch because the end product is amazing. I know you have to make money but your a clickbait title away from being just another RUclipsr. Instead of relying on your enthusiasm and skills to get the views. You came this far because people fell in love with that not all the excess stuff.
It's his job/business... And the point is to make money, above all else. The "chat" you speak of is the precise reason why people watch his videos. No one wants to watch a video of just work. It's boring. The only people who want that are people who have never worked with their hand, done manual labor, swung a hammer, welded, etc. They're the ones that just want to see the work and tools, because it's foreign to them. All the other people (tradesmen) want to hear his thought process and not just a video with no "chatting." It seems you've figured out a fix... Watch it on 1½ speed. Or it sounds like you might be better served just waiting until the final video, skipping to the end, and looking at the final product.
Agreed, cool series...but would have been cooler in maybe 3 videos. I mean I am a fan of the process and seeing the how of most things Alec makes, but how many episodes had extended coverage of making your own screw. Let’s see more stuff being forged, less metal lathe. Also, I really miss the music from when you were editing your own videos.
Andrew Delashaw I'm not saying I just want videos of the work and no talking. Alec is incredible and explains everything so amazingly clear and easy to follow. But just needs to find a healthy balance. His older videos he still explained everything yet there was a much better balance. There is a reason he made a shirt saying less yack yack. Because that's what the people wanted. Some of the videos lately if you take out the mega long promotions and the general rants Only have a couple of minutes of actual blacksmithing or project work. I'm not having a massive bash at Alec I still think by far he is still one of the best RUclipsrs out there. His video quality and overall content is amazing. But just expressing what I believe a lot of people are thinking.
I can't believe you made 10 videos on making this knife barely making any progress in each video ( which were all more than 15 minutes long ) only to prove in the last one that you could've made one video to show us the full project the whole time, I like youtubers who upload daily but only if they upload ACTUAL CONTENT in each video. Please put more effort into you're content alec because I love what you do and it's sad to see you just trying to milk the system for as much money as you can, I don't want to see you become another sellout.
Alec, i'm watching every video you make and im really happy to see you having fun even at making mistakes! It's incredible that you like what you do even while making videos for youtube. A lot of youtuber you find today make videos only for their community and they don't have fun with what they do! I think thats one reason a lot of people like watching your videos! It puts a little warmth and love in them and in the end a smile on our faces! Thanks for that and stay with that. You're an awesome guy. Greetings from Germany. :)
12 mins of recap, are you kidding. I'm sure most of your fans watch your posts every day like I know I used to. Sorry, but this just seems lazy. Sad to say this, but I had to give this a dislike. The reveal should have been on yesterday's video.
I actually very much like the recap. Since this project took several vids I think it's interresting to see your jouney to the beautiful piece you've made
Don’t know much about blacksmithing I doubt I ever will forge something myself but Alec has become one of my Favorite youtubers to watch because what’s he does is so cool but also he is so genuine I love watching him make progress
Mate, your videos and the 6 o'clock coffee are my morning kickstart! Keep up the good work! Here is an idea for a future project: a Dacian Falx sword! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
Hey Alec! Cool knife. In your next folding knife project could you maybe make some wooden scales for the handle? I don't think all metal looks that nice on a knife like this. I know you're a metalworking channel but you always seem up for the challenge of learning and using something new. Loved this project and can't wait to see the next ones, keep up the good work
I notice a massive improvement in video quality with everything from fps and colour contrast and saturation and every thing looks amazing I'm not even a camera guy
I was just going to say something about the pocket clip!!!!!!!!!! You can’t not have a pocket clip on such a beautiful knife! Love it, going to try to make me one as well soon.
It came out nice, for his first try. What was the last folding knife you have seen because, really, it's not even titanium and has a lot of flaws, which i'm sure my 1st one will have too. The Damascus is pretty sweet, but using steel for handles really weighs a knife down and makes it hard to use.
Well, in the last year, he has made more knives and swords than anything else. So basically he is. I'm not taking anything away from him, but to say it's the most beautiful folding knife is a stretch. Look up Stan Wilson, Mick Strider, Anthony Marfione, Dalibor Knives, Rad knives or Gavko those are AMAZING Knives
Thanks for coming along with the series guys! If you just want to see the last day's work: it starts at 12:36 in the video :)
Hope you enjoyed the recap!
You're very welcome :D
Hey Alec you didn’t do a touch mark. Unless I’m mistaken.
Hey Alec, I commented this already but I don't think it will get enough likes to be seen by you, so, about your cheap tool buying habit: buy something nice or buy something twice
Vaughn Cosner read my mind
Gah! You forgot the touch mark! How are you going who made it?!
Alec, no need for a recap we all watch every episode! That aside, still a good vid and keep up the good work 😁
a recap is always good encase anyone has been living under a rock
Robert Watt maybe just have a separate video for the summary, just saying
i think that without recap the video was too short ;)
I skipped through the video because I didn't want to see all the recapping.
the recap is a cheaty content filler, because he only had 4 minutes of real new content for a video but google needs at least 10 minutes of video for monetisation, so how easier to produce additional "content" for nothing in a new episode than tacking the last bit to the previous episode and finish the series 1 episode earlier....work smart not hard....

Tim Roseberry Alec already put that above, just sayin, no problems
If you follow him on Instagram, you'll see he is in Montana on Vacation, so he probably thought he had more content and needed filler. I've never seen him do it before, I'm just speculating though.
Hey John, you're right. I'm on mobile and it showed up almost at the bottom of the comments. Either way it's another great video and a great knife!
Just left a similar comment.
Thanks
A true set of skills. I have never seen any one with more energy, enthusiasm, and an enjoyment for what they do than Alec.
Not sure that 12 min recap was needed. Still a great video as always Alec
harrison knight wholeheartedly agree. We all know what happened.. were religiously watching. 😂😂
It was needed to hit that sweet ten minute premium ad money mark.
IceDragon978 hey, i was about to say that.
9 previous episodes at least 10 minutes we already spent an hour and a half of our lives watching him make the damn thing
Agreed. 2-3 minutes of highlights would work just fine if you absolutely need to do such a thing.
A nice workmanship and attention to detail in your processes....and you’re obviously having fun at the same time
You forgot your touch mark and pocket clip.
Vaughn Cosner I’m guessing he omitted the touchmark bc he didn’t think it was perfect
Shawn K very possible. I just have seen him forget on one other project and put it on later. Only love for Alec and his amazing work.
Shawn K none of his work is perfect, but he always puts it on those. You could argue that no one's projects are "perfect."
That is the most beautiful thing you've ever made Alec. Looking forward to the next project
It’s to bad your not selling that pocket knife. Lot of collectors would kill for a one off Steele knife.
BancroftOutdoors I too would consider buying one, if they were for sale.
I'm sure people feel that way about almost everything he makes, haha
Knives, not yet....I'd hurt puppies for a hammer though. 😈
GT Jay They are (or have been) available for purchase as far as I know... Maybe there is a chance of getting one.
I'd kill for the chefs knife
Absolutely stunning work, Mr. Steele. Thank you for sharing, and taking us on these journeys with you. I so look forward to each days video alerts. Your work, your attitude, your enthusiasm for your craft, and your ongoing quest for knowledge, as well as your willingness to share your mistakes, is a true inspiration.
we love you and congrats. please dont turn into a knife only channel though. we miss the axes, swords, and exotic weapons. Go for the big stuff!
Alec that knife is freaking AWESOME!!!!! Great job!!!! As always, keep up the FANTASTIC work!!!!!
Im really starting to long for the days when you used to get things really hot and beat them into shapes with hammers.
I thinks you can find that in some ASMR videos too ... Here is a guy who's practicing his "PASSION", appreciate that without trying to break what he's believe ! He's not gonna make knifes every time, be patient x) (sorry if bad english)

That starting B-roll segment was a nice recap. That pattern is gorgeous! Congrats on completion of your most technical piece yet! Your progress over this last year has been awesome to watch.
Austin Conrad I totaly agree
these quick paced videos are the best ones you do currently. I miss the short 1 and 2 day projects.
CON5T4R yea I got confused thinking I've seen this
I enjoyed it, even though I watched all of them. A lot of viewers only watch the finish videos so he's gotta think about them too.
Bryan Willden it's different if you've just binge watched all 10 episodes in a row.. money money money .....
It sure is better than getting nothing at all
I love watching you do what you love. It just brightens my entire day!
Alex needs to make a balisong (butterfly) knife, because that would be awesome.
Sam is suppose to be doing a collab with Michaelcthulhu building a huge balisong
Z. Ripley The only problem is they are illegal in the British Isles. By making one he would be breaking the law and could face charges.
+TheSatyrblue I don't think so(I'm from USA, but just read the laws for the U.K.), it is illegal to carry, but not to own. Now a balisong or OTF I think is banned and can't be carried, bought or sold, but to own is a grey area.
I know LB Customs and Webber handmade both have made and sold framelock knives.
Dave Erving Evader Knives I looked it up and it says it is legal to possess a balisong but illegal to carry.
That’s one beautiful knife Alec! Well done! As a machinist, it’s nice to see your skills coming on!
Are you ever going to make hammers for sale again?
Nathan Eells I think he mentioned it one time and said he wasn't but don't quote me. I would by one instantly if he made more hammers!
He said not for the foreseeable future. He has it in his head that he needs to put out videos everyday. And therefore wouldn't have time to do hammers.
This was great to watch! Thanks for including your design process and all the tweaks you made along the way.
Please do more forge work. Like you used to do. I know you are leaning different trades. But I love watching and learning you blacksmithing.
Really beautiful knife! I love the industrial type finish / look of it with the slit cut visible. Great work Alec!!! Love that finish.
I think Jamie did an outstanding job on the recap, it was especailly pleasing to watch :D
And this knife goes together like it is meant to be, stunning piece!
Alec I fully agree with you that the motion of a folding Knife is awesome and just playing with it makes my whole day.
Cant wait for your next build ^^
Starts at 12:30
Such a beautiful blade Alec, true work of art. Thank you for taking us on the journey
When he uploads it is an instant watch.😂😂
I heard a lot of people say they don’t like the recap but I watched all the videos and I still liked the recap!
Just my opinion, but I don't care to much for these long drawn out series 10+, I loose interest, I like the 3 day builds. Love your work by the way!
Kyle Winter he doesn't earn as much from three day builds . Same reason game of thrones isn't four 2 hour episodes why does he have to work for cheap if the traditional content creators arnt expected to ?
Nice Alec, I really enjoyed the recap, good reminder of how far we've come in a single project.
Where's your touch mark?
its on the blade
Alec my highlight of my day keeping this one for when I finish work
Love you Alec, but a recap is kind of unnecessary, not only because it'd be pretty weird to start watching this tutorial without watching all the parts before this one, but also you have more recap than new video, again, not trying to hate or anything, it's all love
Alec your videos helped me get through a difficult year of studyig abroad and not having my workshop and not being able to make ANYTHING. I would have gone crazy if it wasn't for your videos. Thank you :)
skip to 12:36 if you like me you dont need and or want to watch the recap
it was rather long tbh :/
I would love to see Alec make a slipjoint folder from damascus and some expensive gorgeous wood for the scales😍😍
12:35 if you want to skip the recap
Hey Alec! Awesome series. How about making a liner lock next? Looks complicated, but they're my favourite locking mechanisms by far!
Can’t believe you just had me fast forward threw that whole video
I would love to get my hands on Damascus to make a kitchen knife!! Beautiful!!!
slow mo guys x alecs power hammer plz
14.43 is pure beauty...very good job Alec!
Skip the re-cap to 12:40.
That's one of the coolest knives Iv ever seen and it's been fantastic watching you create it. Well done mate👍🏻
*Was the recap really necessary? We know what's been going on.*
*Video actually starts @ **12:37*
Yes the recap is most of the video, but it's also a 10 part build that we can't expect everyone to watch in full. In short, this video is also a summary/condensed version of the build for those that may not have the time.
Edit: Did not realize he'd be making more parts until a few seconds ago. Your argument is now much more valid.
It's just frustrating, because after you take away the re-run material, this video is essentially 3½ minutes long. Kinda weak.
Geeks
I watched you make this from scratch and you did a phenomenal job
Please, please, please, Alec, make some Damascus steel armor! A breastplate, or even a shield would be amazing, and it would go GREAT with your swords! People, help me convince him if you agree with me.
I'm against it. Let's have some serious stuff here.
Fantastic job.. looks amazing man.. especially considering that's your first liner lock! Can't wait for the next one. I think you might have found your calling! This was definitely my favorite build you've done so far!
OTF knife plz....
Now that would be impressive.
*SNICK* ...that is such a satisfying sound!! Well Done Alec.....Very nice knife!!
Indeed. It also means there's no incentive for anybody who hasn't seen the earlier parts to bother.
NoCrow he is on a ski trip.
guys, he's probably putting out a recap because he's out of town like he said in the video about the surface grinder
Alec
For the next folding knife make sure to add the "Emerson wave feature" to it. They're so much fun
Don't milk us for money I'm slowly losing interest in being conned into watching another episode of yack yack. And my memory isn't rubbish I don't need a 12 minute recap for 4 min of additional footage
its the guy who edits the videos fault
If you don’t like being milked for money you could always ask for a refund...
Seriously. How much did it cost to watch that video? And I have this little slider at the bottom of my screen that allows me to fast forward.
Awesome project. You jumped into the deep in and survived! Excellent.
No pocket clip.... no touch mark either eh?
Great job Alec, the result is just waaaww. Congratulations on your first framelock. continue like that, I love your job, you're an artist, congratulations again. Hello from Belgium
If you do a recap don't make it most of the video please. I have watched every single video and this is honestly the only one i have not enjoyed fully. I think this is a general census your videos are incredible though man just feel this one was a bit "lets throw in a bunch of filler in the beginning"
What a superb job you’ve made of that knife. Brilliant!!
A 12 minute recap? Seriously on a 16min video. Honestly the channel is just bombing for me at the moment. Don't get me wrong I love Alec and his skill and enthusiasm are incredible. But the videos lately are clearly just about money. Mass series of videos that could be done in a 10 minute video, 90% talking when one of the slogans of the channel is "less yack yack, more whack whack!"
I've started watching the videos on 1.5 speed just to skip through all the chat.
Jonny Hendry becoming the wranglerstar of England
But just expressing what I believe a lot of people are thinking.
guys, he's putting out a recap because he's out of town like he said in the video about the surface grinder
Even with mistakes it's still an amazing piece. Good job Alec.
so i could have skipped the 9 videos before this.......
Mark Kuhns Would you have? I sure wouldn't.
Mad appreciation on the youtube grind Alec 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Alec? Youre insane! Just wow!!! Keep enjoy making vids and weapons. Youre the youtube boy of making these cool things.
That Sir is a functional work of art!! OUTSTANDING work Sir!! Thank You for your time and efforts. It's very appreciated. Thanks
I love watching Alec getting overexcited about even the smallest thing working properly.
Like always, just a magnificient project. Well done Alec ! 👍👍👍
Alec im LOVING the cinematic shots dude ...keep up the hard work! looks badass
I love it when a good knife comes together
I actually very much like the recap. Since this project took several vids I think it's interresting to see your jouney to the beautiful piece you've made
One of the coolest series so far
Don’t know much about blacksmithing I doubt I ever will forge something myself but Alec has become one of my
Favorite youtubers to watch because what’s he does is so cool but also he is so genuine I love watching him make progress
Mate, your videos and the 6 o'clock coffee are my morning kickstart! Keep up the good work!
Here is an idea for a future project: a Dacian Falx sword!
Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
I watched every secon of every video. Why? Because they were all Fantastic!
Don't think you need the recap but final product is impressive! More like this!
The high FPS 4K is really appreciated !It looks absolutely phenomenal on my TV!
Hey Alec!
Am I the only one who liked the recap? Btw: awesome work man! 👍👍
great recap! gonna share it with my dad : ) that knife is STUNNING, made my heart pound...more plz?
For the next project you should use everything in your workshop.
What a cool knife btw
I was just going to say something about the pocket clip!!!!!!!!!! You can’t not have a pocket clip on such a beautiful knife! Love it, going to try to make me one as well soon.
Holy Crap! that has to be the absolutely most beautiful folding knife I've seen in a long time! way to go for a first it's wonderful congrats Buddy!!
It came out nice, for his first try. What was the last folding knife you have seen because, really, it's not even titanium and has a lot of flaws, which i'm sure my 1st one will have too. The Damascus is pretty sweet, but using steel for handles really weighs a knife down and makes it hard to use.
Definitely original! Obviously a learning curve but it would be different if he were Alec Steel knife maker!!
If you would have been even slightly positive instead of pompous people might check your Knives on your channel
Congratulations Alec. Seriously beautiful work.
I appreciate and am inspired by your enthusiasm for learning. Thank you for the ride with this one.
Great work Alec.. love the look of the Damascus on the flipper tab ;)
