AUXITO L.E.D. Headlight Bulbs Installation and Review

  • AUXITO asked me if I'd be interested in trying out a set of their LED headlight bulbs for my tenth gen F150. The headlights on my truck have always been terrible and LED lights were something I was already looking into and researching. AUXITO was a name that kept coming up with positive reviews and opinions so I agreed. The lights arrived quickly and seemed well made right out of the box. The main body of the light is made of aluminum and has a built in fan. One thing that I really like about them is they come with an anti-flicker module (CANBus Adapter) built in. They installed quickly and easily. The "beam" is adjustable and the installation was pretty much plug and play (with a minor glitch demonstrated in the video). Since the video was recorded I've driven with them at night and love them. The light is clear and bright without being obnoxious and blinding to other drivers. Do yourself and everyone else on the road, don't buy the brightest and cheapest LED headlights you can find. Do some research and buy a quality light from a manufacturer like AUXITO. They aren't the most expensive and they aren't the least expensive, they are an excellent light and a bargain at the price. I give them two thumbs up!

Hi Bruce, I installed LED bulbs for my DRL and despite coming with a voltage regulator of sorts they were so bright people would flash high beams at me. I felt like a douche blinding people lol - so I removed them and went back to halogen. Cheers, hope the fire smoke isn’t too severe for y’all out that way.

Hey Ed. That’s the exact reason I haven’t installed them till now. They have a cut off line you can set so they don’t blind everyone. I haven’t had anyone flash me yet but I’ll be watching for it. I’m keeping my halogens just in case!
The smoke around Edmonton isn’t too bad. It was worse yesterday when there was a huge grass fire just outside of the city. It’s been raining all day today so hopefully that helps with some of the bigger fires around Alberta

Awesome video clip. I just had to replace my backlight bulb this week. Blinding the neighborhood, are we ??? Definitly a different beast, those LED's...The little fan airconditioner, attached to it, should cool you on hot Canadian Summers...

I specifically chose these ones because they’re amiable. You can set a cut off line so they don’t blind everyone. The little fan is pretty neat.

Thanks Bruce, I'm wanting to put LED's on my 86 CJ7.

Man, I’d kill to find a CJ that wasn’t trashed and they still ask $10,000 for it. No cheap Jeeps left anymore. Especially not CJ7s. Go for the LEDs, we’ll worth it. My eyes aren’t the greatest at night and these made a world of difference

Definitely a huge difference in light output. Seems odd they didn't allow for the retaining ring , hard to see but the cut in the ring now has a wire between both sides ? Hose clamp , great idea.

No, the wire just had to be cut and spread open slightly to get over the wire. Then it closes back together and is held together by the light housing. The hose clamp is redundant but it never hurts. I’ve used the hose clamp idea on those split O2 sensor sockets so they don’t spread, it’s worked for me

nice job there cant wait for you to do a update on them but you should not have to modfide part on your headlights to put bulbs in I have set of Auxbeam and there the best plug and play I am going to do a video on them soon but I can say LED headlights are the best thing out there so much more light coming out of them love my on the back roads where there is not lights but love the ending sucks to me you 🤣

Thanks! I agree, I shouldn’t have had to modify the retainer ring but there was no other way. I love them. My eyesight isn’t the greatest at night and certainly isn’t getting any better with time. Most of the times when I’m driving the truck I’m outside of the city and the LEDs are massively better!

I worry about the extra heat LEDs put out in plastic headlight housings that are an unfortunate reality in modern cars. (Glass stays clear until it shatters!)

That’s something I hadn’t even considered. Is it a common issue?
