I just inherited a Ford Transit Mk1 from my dad, He fitted a Ford 302 v8 about 35 years ago to tow the caravan. I need to do some serious body work now, but mechanically it's 100%. It's got the V8 engine with the automatic Ford Fairmont gearbox which came with the engine, and a limited slip difference from a Ford Thunderbird, so the gear action is perfect. I like your interior, what engine have you got in yours. My dad opted rather to push the engine back into the cockpit, for overall balance, it's also easy to work on as you just remove the engine cover from inside, and it doesn't show that it has a V8, surprise surprise, no budget in front. It sounds great. Thanks for video, I enjoy my old cars, the have character and history.

This looks like the diesel Transit with the front bullnose. The petrol Transit doesn't have the bullnose front.
