My dad used to drive one for deliveries in the seventies, when I was a kid. Thanks for the memories!

Great job my man! I'm just starting to restore my late dad's mk1 transit. Massive job, but he fitted a 351 V8. I've got lots of bodywork to do. Luckily he did the engine conversion properly with Ford Fairmont GT Gearbox ND Ford Thunderbird diff so Gear ratio is perfect., but I have to change front drum brakes to disc brakes and power steering and brakes. At the moment it does not like to stop. Big job. You inspired me again.

I've got already dics all around but wanna go power steering too. How did you do it? I can't find any power steering stuff for Mk 1Transits. :/

the seats fit perfectly, the contrast of the colours is good balanced and harmonic. but i would use more heavy material to make this useful cases!

Hi, I am restoring a Ford transit mk1 like your.
I am looking for some parts of car body, but I am not able to find anything I want.
Can I ask you where you found the body parts you needed?
    Thank you

The best style mk1 transit grill.
    I'm doing up a mk2
    Hope it's going well.

Yes, the 65 - 70 grille was the bestest. The facelift version looks tacky. ... and don't even get me started on the 78 and later Mk 2. Sooo fugly.

Wow you've done a brilliant job on that. Looks really clean and modern but still in keeping with the era. Here's my Mk1: ruclips.net/video/CKlTjw4T5_0/видео.html
