- The two-part video session discusses in detail the concept of variables (Definitions, Dependent, Independent, Moderating, and Mediating Variables). This is followed by the concept and components of the theoretical framework
The first part discusses the concept of variables and the types of variables.
The second part focuses on theory generation, theoretical framework, and components of the theoretical framework with examples from published research.

I love just the way you explain 👍👍 easiest to understand 😊
Thank you! 😃
This video is by far the simplest and most understanding video. Thank you sooo much Sir for using these simple and not complex examples.
You are most welcome.
After identifying the research problem then theory identification then variables identification. is the sequence Research problem to theory to variables is correct sir ?
Yes it is fine
Thank you so much for this amazing explanation, prof. I have a question if there was a direct effect of IV on DV supported from the L.R, but I'm interested to test the MV effect only, is that possible? and does the MV consider full mediation effect in this case?. thank you so much.
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Yes, you may only assess the mediating role, but it is not the preferred approach, try to assess the other relationships.
@@researchwithfawad actually, I pass my proposal defense with this type of assessment and going to the final viva now, however, I'm still worried that I need to assess the direct relationship between IV and DV as well. but this will made many hypotheses into consideration.
Sir can we use PLS Predict for multiple DVs like 3, if yes please advise. Because I have studied and seen videos of one DV. Please help if you can. thank you very much
Yes you can, just simply add the variables to the model, link them to IVs.
Sir you discussed and explained that no other factor should change dependent variable other than in dependent variable but mediating variable is all about changing it via ID. Its a bit confusing and plz explain the condition where point 3 in the independent variable is justified and how?
Ramzan, if you look at it, the mediating variable becomes independent for the dependent in the model. So now when mediator starts to influence the dependent variable, you can deal MV as an independent now.
@@researchwithfawad Thank you sir.
Got it
