Love getting to see you every week and hear about what you're knitting! I rushed out and got the Low Tide pattern as soon as it released. It's gorgeous, and I'm also a huge fan of Rachel Illsley's patterns.
Hi! I enjoyed watching your episode. It was good company while I was knitting on my tee shirt in lace. I live in India and prefer viscose and cotton blend yarns which are suitable for our warm temperatures. Hope to see your podcast regularly. Best wishes
Your lace shirt sounds beautiful 🙂. I can definitely see how both viscose and cotton can help with warmer temperatures. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Wonderful podcast ❤ I love your hats, the sweaters patterns are great picks but your colour work steeking project looks amazing. Looking forward to seeing more on your channel. 😊
Hello - I’ve found you via Socky Nanna Alice - she spoke so highly of that I had to come over - and I see why. I really enjoyed visiting with you. I have done the Tolsta Tee and really enjoyed it.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with the Stripy Unicorn. I just finished mine and wish I had a chart/diagrams to assist in the increases. I found it very difficult to follow but love the finished product.😊
Thank you! I really did struggle with the increases until I could read them in table form. I think my mind just understood that better 🙂. I was so happy when I finished the yoke section 1 😂. However I really do love the way it looks, so hopefully it will be all worth it 🙂
You have a lot of knitting going on! I have a huge knitting queue which feels overwhelming sometimes especially since I don't have much knitting time right now 😂 I enjoy seeing all of your makes and potential projects.
Oh, I just love that Voyager cardigan! I really need to knit a Wool & Pine pattern sometime. I think it's great that you're making those hats for your son's fundraiser. What a generous gift you're giving them!
I just finished a (colorworkless) Rhue Sweater from Rebecca Clow. I also picked up the Daft Days Cardigan and Alder Sweater when she had her mosiac patterns on sale. And I picked up the Corran Cardigan and the Stick Season Sweater during her birthday sale. Oh, and I won a copy of her Kerr Sweater during a KAL earlier this year. I want to get to all of them eventually! I started my birthday cast on of the Fall Frolic sweater you gifted me while watching this. It's going to be so cute!
I have done Daft Days using an advent and had so much fun with it. I really thought it was a good pattern and the advent I used worked so well with it. I did not know of Rhue, Alder or Kerr. I am so amazed at all of her beautiful patterns and her color work is now calling to me! Plus Corran and I already have the yarn for it (angora!! 🙂) I think I need a couple clones or even just some extra arms.. That might help make a dent in my future projects list 😂
I love your Timeless Henley! The shape looks great on you, and the color is fantastic 😍 I just cast on my Kip this weekend. It's my first Rebecca Clow pattern, and I've been enjoying it so far!
Thank you! I love the Timeless Henley, but I don’t see it mentioned very often so I like to wear it 🙂. I can’t wait to see your Kip, it really is a beautiful pattern!
Hi Mandy! Ahhh, pink - my favorite color. I was going to make a scrappy blanket in all pinks but, as you mentioned, there are only so many shades. So Ill put them with other colors and shoot for a pastel one - maybe. I'm currently knitting the Tolsta Tee in fingering (Florida). I love the look of the Kip too. Have a great week 🙂
Hi Marina, thank you for commenting! Pink is my favorite too, but I think a pastel blanket would look beautiful! I might end up trying pinks with neutrals, but I guess we’ll see when I start the Sea glass cardigan 🙂. I have seen so many beautiful Tolsta tees, it really is a great pattern. I can’t wait to see yours!
Hi Mandy, lovely podcast. Super suggestions for sweaters this week. Always looking for something new to add to the growing list 😂 Take care see you next week 😊
The Stubentiger socks look great - but I don't like knitting colorwork. Anyway, If you need help or a translation for German patterns, please feel free to contact me!
@@mandyvaughnknits It can help but I am often drawn to colours I love and they are not necessarily the best ones for me. Sometimes we have to just do what brings us joy. 🥰
How brave to use an allover colourwork pattern with so many colours for your first steek ! The idea of steaking still frightens me, to be fair... The hats turned out really cute. I've been eyeing that new Illsley pattern as well, it's gorgeous. The cat socks are too cute, saw them as well, but I don't fancy all of the patterns in that book, so won't buy it. My German isn't too bad though, I think a knitting pattern should be doable, so if you ever come across a German pattern that you really want to make, and need some help...
Thank you so much! 🙂 Steeking scares me too, but I am going to be steeking swatches first, and definitely will share the process. I will wait to do the actual sweater until I am comfortable enough. I believe there are some small steeking projects for practicing, so I will definitely look for those. The socks are very tempting, but I think I need to brush up on my sock knitting first 😅
I love the pattern you mentioned Low Tide & the yarn that she used for the pattern looks so interesting. However, I have two other of her patterns that I want to make which I already have the yarn planned so I think I need to do one of those before getting distracted by this new shiny one! I’ve made several of Rebecca Clow’s patterns. My favorite is the Stick Season which I made without the texture in the yoke… I love that sweater so much! Thanks for the Tuesday morning entertainment, have a wonderful week 😊
Thank you so much! I have some patterns from her as well, including some color work. I’ve been trying not to get distracted by other patterns as well. Doing Stick Season without the texture seems like a great idea for just a comfy sweater. I really like the silhouette on it. I hope that you have a wonderful week as well! 🙂
The Voyage sweater is looking lovely.👍😊🧶
Thank you so much, I've been loving it!
love all the color in your new cardi wip. amazed how you juggle family, work and knitting❤
Thank you so much! 🙂 The Voyage cardigan is turning out to be such a fun knit.
Hi Mandy. Such gorgeous patterns at the end especially the Low Tide pattern and those cat socks 😍
I love the cat socks! Low Tide seems like a beautiful lighter weather sweater 🙂
Love getting to see you every week and hear about what you're knitting! I rushed out and got the Low Tide pattern as soon as it released. It's gorgeous, and I'm also a huge fan of Rachel Illsley's patterns.
I love her patterns, I have several color work ones in my queue 🙂 I hope that you are having an amazing week!
ooooh those cat socks 😻
They are beautiful! 🙂

Thank you so much! I am so excited for the Voyage, that I've been having a hard time working on anything else 😅

Welcome, thank you for stopping by! I have been enjoying her podcasts. I have heard great things about the Tolsta tee and tanks 🙂

Thanks for the sweater ideas.
You’re welcome. It’s starting to be sweater weather where I live, so I love to share some of the fun patterns I come across 🙂

I know how you feel about it being overwhelming! My queue can feel that way too. I just keep telling myself to take one step at a time 🙂
Oh, I just love that Voyager cardigan! I really need to knit a Wool & Pine pattern sometime. I think it's great that you're making those hats for your son's fundraiser. What a generous gift you're giving them!
Thank you! I really am liking this Wool & Pine pattern. They have so many beautiful ones that I never knew existed until I started digging into them 🙂

Hi, I just found your podcast. It's so lovely and fun to listen to, do of course I had to subscribe. I'm looking forward to your next one.

Hi! Thank you for stopping by 🙂 I love all the new patterns coming out for winter, there’s definitely been a lot to share lately! ❤️
The Stubentiger socks look great - but I don't like knitting colorwork.
Anyway, If you need help or a translation for German patterns, please feel free to contact me!
Thank you, they are such cute socks 🙂 I think I need more sock practice first though 😂
Hi Mandy! The colour of your sweater look so good on you. You must be an Autumn for colours. Thanks for another great episode!
Thank you so much! I never thought about my colours, but I should look into it. I think knowing them would help me narrow down my yarn choices 🙂

Love the way your Voyage is coming together ♥️
Thank you! 🙂
I saw the German sock pattern too! I love it!
It’s so cute, they look like awesome socks to make 🙂
Your voyage is amazing. I always admire those striped sweaters you showed but I won’t be knitting them since I don’t like knitting in ends😂
I really do like the Stripy Unicorn, but I haven't thought much about the ends yet. It's going to be an adventure when I deal with them 🤣
