It feels like Red would have won if he'd kept Blue contained and destroyed the rest of his base first. Those ranges off to the side were crucial.

Those ranges didn't exist when red had contained blue and started to pressure his rebuilt TC. Misplay on red's part to not check for enemy vils/buildings toward the shoreline on a map where fishing is super popular and your opponent has great fishing civ. Blue would've been insta dead if red had found and destroyed his dock around 10:10
If Red made a few adjustments to his strategy, blue would have no chance. As soon as the Blue TC was destroyed, Red should focus the rams on destroying all of Blue's military production buildings. When Blue built the 2nd TC, instead of building a tower Red should have simply stone walled Blue in. Then Red could have gone up to Castle and used mangonels to finish off Blue.
I agree with ramming down the production buildings, but i believe he didnt see the ranges in the east since they were built by the vils on the woodline there. Also, cumans can't stone wall.
The adaption i'd like to see on this map specifically is getting a dock up once he chopped through in the back to make a couple of fires to kill the fishing ships from blue. And you can even add a couple of your own. Just another area to put pressure. Still, crazy recovery by blueplayer and then by chris
blue could have annihilated red by using the CA offensively though and making elite skirms in defense, CA are not built to defend against xbows

If blue had actually attacked red with the CA and made a couple elite skirms for defense this game might have gone very differently, but there's a lot that both players could have done differently
What beastly players! Cool to see this ELO range where they’re not pros but the gameplay is still really impressive. For blue to hold in such a difficult spot in “Fuedal” was shocking to me.

Blue messed up his comeback push, he should've did as much eco damage as he could. And elite skirm would've been more useful than crossbow at that particular point in the game because he had so many and red only had archers.
massive mistake to make 30 cav archers and not attack with them, a few elite skirms + siege at home could have defended just fine

Was crushing to see blue call it. Goes to show you usually have no idea exactly what the game state is out in the darkness, and it's easy to assume your opponent is beasting every aspect of the game while you struggle. Been there countless times.

Play, you will get destroyed, evwntually you will reach the right elo and have competitive games.
I hate playing against players, so I just watch videos of comp matches.
I think a castle at the front of blue's base and some breathing room for him would have changed the game's outcome. He even had a moment for it once he pushed red off his face.
I think blue could have just trebbed red down in feudal and he would have been fine. There was even a point where red didn't have enough military to stop a treb push.

They won and the grand prize is poverty, misery.
Blue had a small window but wasted it attacking 2 useless towers.

There’s a player who had a self imposed ‘feudal only’ rule, but they were playing against people in castle and imp.
They were really good and had a high elo even with feudal only. T90 has a vid on it somewhere

Some time ago I randomed into Cumans and I successfully pulled of manatarms and towers followed by rams finishing him off in feudal age. I'm around 1200 elo and he thought I was smurfing. I like going for all in feudal aggression. Somehow some opponents get really frustrated.

Yea he sucks at English. A rumor is if someone claims to have knowledge of something but can't prove it. A leak is if confirmed information reaches the public unofficially. An analysis is if someone draws logical conclusions based on facts. What Nintendo Prime "reports" on 99% of the time is called speculation. He makes stuff up or reports on other people making stuff up.
Rams, mangonels, scorps and knights should be available in feudal age. Castle age should unlock first upgrade for each of these units.
