Those last two games are some of the most legendary tourney games I've every seen.

Next to last certainly was legendary because of the flaming camels. But the last was so predictable. Just Vinch desperately trying a little Castle Age push with the worse Civ and fails miserably. It was gg at this point already.
TaToH the elephant master was so epic! Almost as epic as this legendary co-cast. Great vibes all along, very entertaining. For the records I dont even play AoE2 but T90 casts are something else

Honestly, I don't believe Tatoh would've been able to deal with Khmer without the flaming camels and the 7th was not even supposed to happen. I understand if Vinch felt extremely demoralized in the last game. So basically, a meme unit won the entire tournament for Tatoh, just wow, how often does that happen?! :D. Amazing series and amazing casting as always.
Tatoh almost won against turks. Overall it felt he has better micro and macro. Anyhow great games for Vincher
I think I have missed a moment, when flaming camels stopped being just a meme unit. But I also think that that's a good thing!

This was the first time I watched you cast tournaments. I'm usually here for the LEL and COM games (I've seen a few pro games). I don't actually play the game myself but now it's good to know what good, consistent play looks like so when I look at the clock for LEL games I can laugh.
One day I'll play and get some ranked games in and see just how easy it is to fall into the low ELO category, lol.

2. I can't believe Tatoh brought it back! I walked away thinking the game was over, even said GG...came back only to have tatoh pushing back and winning! Insane!

Great final here! Both players played some incredible AOE2 and were deserving finalists for sure. From a casting perspective, I thought the T90 + Hera combo was ELITE! Such great insight from both of you - I definitely approve of any future co-casts! Can't wait for the next tourny!!!

Great finals, I feel bad for vinchester as he was having a really good tournament and his pressure in early castle was insanely well played, but Tatoh has shown once again he is a more seassoned vet and got the win! Congrats!
@ 1:29:40 - That is exactly what happens! I like blocking the gates with houses and they literally have 7 pikemen frantically poking at them.

I'm really sad they didn't notice that vinch had 1 barracks left in Tatohs base in game 5. It was producing pikes and sending them through Tatohs base, through the battlefield, and over to vinch's rally point (or... at least tried to... One of them almost made it once). Then, later you started seeing lots of blinking in Tatohs base, like 3-4-5 different fights going on. But the casters didn't notice : ( When T90 finally looked at Tatohs base it was the moment the barracks got destroyed, and the small war was over : (
It feels like players after seeing this tournament and seeing Hidden Cup V's mass monk micro, will be practicing their monk micro in their practice sessions.
Specifically for the late game, where there are a ton of powerful units with a weakness to defensive 🛡 monks.
The tricks to mass convert enemy units with monks seem very important to sneak in a win for games which would otherwise be losses.
The RUclips algorithm loves you T90, I have watched this video so many times and it just keeps recommending it to me. Also after watching even a couple videos of anything else it gets back to your videos, its truly odd but if it had to favor some one I feel like you are a great person for it to pick.

Wth. Im 1100 elo and I know Dravidian ele archers are OP. Ive used them to beat Paladins and imp camels. It's very hard to kill once you've massed. Health regeneration also helps. Once you have longsword meatshield, it's a proper death ball.

I'm forever impressed with T90s game knowledge.
I enjoy his casting more than most other casters as he seems to always know what players are going for and what they are thinking, which makes for a more engaging cast.
That 2nd to last game was sick. Chat was completely wrong predicting a throw there!

A little late to the party, but one mod suggestion I have is changing the civ every time a player gets to a new age. A community game with this mechanic would be fun to see.
Ah flaming camels. I was playing a Land Nomad FFA and a player who has 300-400 elo higher than me had full spam of battle elephants, an army that was normally impossible to stop. As Tatars I massed falming camels and wrecked hundreds of battle elephants from a much better player than me, it was very satisfying and led to him resigning.

what possible reason could tatoh have in game 3 to not go hussar? Even 20 hussar as soon as he hit imp woulda put him massively ahead, i just cant understand how t90 or hera didnt bring it up so theres gotta be something im missing because its painfully the best option.

Instead of Koreans getting an archer and infantry wood discount, I would’ve really liked them to get a tower build time reduction- like they build towers 10 to 20% faster. I don’t want them to lose their identity as a tower civ

Tip for CBA players: Flaming Camels can be made if you are Tatars, and yes, they are very OP (even against non-cav units since you can make so many of them).
