@@spottythefurby17492 I'm sure they will, since one of the characters unlocked via codes from the Funko Fusion Funko Pop boxes is Eddy as Dilophosaurus!
I pre ordered it digitally on PS5. So excited to play this during my first year in College! 😆 I can definitely see this game get adapted into a ride at Universal Orlando (maybe in Epic Universe)
Good job explaining everything. The game is definitely different than I expected and I am a little surprised that it's simply level based without any open worlds but hopefully it's a fun game. I look forward to picking it up next month.
Hi packattack, thanks for stopping by! Yes, I was expecting open worlds too, but having levels does make it feel more like the classic LEGO games. The levels are pretty open too. Thanks!
I can't wait to play this. Thank you for the video quick brick games🎉 I'm excited to see more franchises and characters join in. I would love to see the cocaine bear or maybe some more slashers like nightmare on elm street or evil dead. But definitely a good game to get into.
18:59 now, if this were a LEGO game, the statute landing on him would’ve been broken into many pieces and one of the pieces falling down would bonk his hairpiece off and knock him out.
I think the Boss Fights are very lackluster....They are all very similar and they lack difficulty. I wish they would have utilized more difficult puzzles during the fight (that you have solved during the levels leading up to the fight) to defeat bosses or just make the fights more difficult in general to create a more memorable Fight! Look at the indominus Rex wasn't Even attacking the player at the end which is just confusing on why he wouldn't as he is being controlled by Eddy
Looks fun! Didn't want to spoil myself so i skipped through the video sorry! But I do have a question: can you freely roam areas from the franchises like in how it is in Lego Dimensions or is it limited to the levels? I know some of the same folks who did that are making this so I was curious if they did something similar
It's only levels. However, the majority of the levels that I played are very open. None of the levels had time limits so you can definitely explore as if it's an open world.
Can you free roam? Yes, sort of. There is not an "open world" necessarily. There are 7 franchises that have 5 levels each. Most of the levels are pretty open to explore and there's no time limit on the levels I played. Do characters have bios? Yes, I show that off towards the beginning of the video.
Plus when you complete an area eg hot fuzz you unlock the purple box with a funky in it . Then you need to get stuff to unlock different funko in one of the purple doors I only opened one door in the ? Mark door
I honestly am probably going to pre order this game, it'll be a bit for me sadly. Due to the fact ill be buying on switch to get it. I honestly think ny biggest disappointment with this game is, that they aren't releasing all versions at once. Makes no sense to release it on the majority of consoles at one time and then two other consoles like 2 months later. I honestly think it would be more beneficial, to delay release and release on all consoles at once .
The last gen consoles need a bit more time to ensure they run the game properly. Funko Fusion uses Unreal Engine 5, so I imagine it's complex to get it running on less powerful hardware.
just out of curiosity but does this have a easy/hard option? since i am a little hesitant now to buy this game due to it being too hard TwT just was curious tho.
i wish it was possible to add your own Funko characters. because i guarantee the funko's i would want to play as aren't in the game... because of course not.
to be honest the act of swapping characters feels useless other than getting a different weapon maybe it will make a difference with some of the powered characters but all the Jurassic and hot fuzz characters are basically reskins with different guns. the lego games had a lot more personality and unique abilities by the time they got to the later games
I think they want you to be able to always play as your favorite character. But each character does have a unique heavy melee attack, something that I recently discovered after making this video. Also, each character has their own stats like stamina, speed, etc.
Did not watch the video for spoiler reasons. How is the difficulty? That is the only thing holding me back. I want more of a challenge than the lego games.
@@QuickBrickGames oh ok and thank you i love your videos watched and liked every funko fusion video and you cover it before they even release on their youtube. "Like the video if you liked it dislike it if not" keep on going man and i of course subscribed :D
Yes, this entire gameplay is showing singleplayer! It also supports online co-op with up to 4 players. The devs have confirmed there will be no microtransactions. The closest thing would be the fact that there are 3 skins and 2 characters locked behind buying physical Pop! Figures, however these are completely optional. And thanks btw!
This was an early build of the PC version. There is an option to enable v-sync which would remove screen tearing. I had it off to improve performance, since my PC is getting some age on it. They also said performance in general will be improved at launch. So I wouldn't worry about that! Thanks for the comment, Franchise!
You'll see it a few times in this gameplay. But when you die, you turn into a ghost. You then need to pay vinyl to revive yourself at the nearest Pop! box. You have 3 lives. I assume when you lose all your lives, you must restart the level. The game overall is much more challenging than the LEGO games.
It’d be nice if they added the Prince of Persia series. I wish a lot of video games had a rewind function since I’ve gotten frustrated a lot with certain ones. In fact, the rewind function for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was conceived by the game’s director Patrice Desilets based on experiences he had when playing Donald Duck: Goin’ Quackers where he wished to rewind time after making a mistake instead of restarting the entire level.
Much like the later parts of LEGO Dimensions I feel like this game's main weakness is the franchise picks, with only a handful being actual strong ones.
I know right? I get they want to appeal to older audiences with these franchise picks, but why aren't there any franchises that would appeal to younger audiences? No Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Despicable Me, etc. LEGO Dimensions did it better with franchise picks imo 'cuz there was a lot of franchises that appeal to younger and older audiences.
@@BrainyBoltProductions Yeah, meant to say that Dimensions had a decently strong initial lineup but started to trail into smaller and older franchises with less mainstream appeal, like Beetlejuice, Knight Rider, and The A-Team, this game feels like mostly that weird subcategory, which does not bode well for its future.
They have Five Nights at Freddys in there for younger audiences. But in general, this game rated T for Teen so it's not exactly designed for younger audiences.
@@QuickBrickGames Honestly it just seems like it's aimed at an audience that doesn't exist, with the oddly specific picks it's got. Obviously there's always room to add more franchises later as DLC, but right now it seems like a game that doesn't know who it's for.
@@captaincomic8678 It was more that the Toys to Life genre was dying at the time. Niche franchises would have been fine, if Dimensions itself didn't come in so close to the genre's death.

No, there were no difficultly options, at least not in this early build.
