To be fair, there isn't much from Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince that you can really make a level out of. Felix Felicis is essentially Harry Potter and Horace having a night on the town, and was a one of the memorable parts of the movie.
Oh god no!! Penguins lair has reminded me of its villain counterpart level, Artic world! I remember absolutely hating that level just because of that one minikit in the ice sliding part. That underwater level from Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 really was frustrating. During the final fight wiry Attuma, he fell into the water, and the game wouldn't let me dive down to get him, so I had to restart the level because it was impossible to complete at that point. That game had a lot of those glitches. And a lot of scenes where I had no clue what I was supposed to be doing. That game in general felt pretty lacking.
Also something I just noticed after how many years LEGO Marvel was released, that when you fight Red Skull, you have Cap and Johnny, and both are played by Chris Evans…so it’s the same person fighting Skull, but different voices
11:10 I completely agree with your choice for Pirates of the Caribbean. It's the first level that came to mind when I thought which one could be the worst. I remember hating it when I was younger.
The first one is weird, because it is different than how it was in the first game. It was more difficult but the last part of the level was more fun than it was in the complete saga.
I feel like i always hear the pirates theme song very silently but always i think im going insane ive seen ALL the movies 1000 times atleast and i now know every line in every scene
For sky walker saga I really don’t like the first empire strikes back mission. It’s where you play as Han on tawntawns and fix towers to find Luke in the cave
That level is boring but for me it's the only one that was really a hassle. Han Solo going around on a Taun-Taun on Hoth was eh no in each of my 3 play through. Though story wise ep 1 to 6 are much better than 7 to 9. Rey and Kylo Ren oh lord that is long and not that well written but blame Disney for that (it had potential and it ANNOYS ME, the devs' job was to make levels out of the tv content.
Lego Indy 2 for me is the weakest of the lego games I've played overall. I did like the idea of a level builder, but it was very underwhelming. The story levels were very formulaic - each chapter had one open vehicle section where you had to find a bunch of items, one small arena level where you had to fight waves of enemies, one level with some puzzles, and a couple other types that I simply forgot. Even the bonus levels were pretty lackluster, just being small puzzles created with the level builder (which further demonstrated how bland it was for how samey the levels looked). On top of that, you couldn't even share your levels with others to play online, so even if the editor was more advanced and allowed for greater variety, there was no point in making levels with it apart from maybe challenging your local friends to beat it. It's certainly not terrible, but it's not one I'd go back to play.
@@xen60xen Yeah, that was another thing that bothered me about the game, the fact that Crystal Skull had three entire chapters dedicated to it. How they managed to get 18 levels out of one movie that was no more complex in its story than any of the other three is beyond me.
I actually built the stairs correctly one time! In the Tamming Gollum level (in Lego Lord of the Rings) you need to built them corectly to gain a minikit... I was stuck in this part for a while until I got it...
I remember ace chemicals being one of my favorites on Lego Batman 2 as a kid, but as I replayed it I was consistently waiting for it to be over lol. A little too much to it. I kinda liked the first bit with the puzzles and stuff but the second half was too chaotic with too many mechanics imo. Playing as Superman is a fun deal but it gets so complicated playing solo switching between all three characters and adds even more to the play time
The level I have ALWAYS hated (both in my youth and recently) is the bloody Mos Espa Podrace in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. It had not only janky controls but most of the time you were dying by either Tuskans or the environment. And then came one of the laps where the 3 legged guy knocked the guy who’s name I think is Mawhonic into a pillar and you were forced to basically pull it all the way to the boost or you die. Speaking of boosts if you didn’t get 90% of them you would lose.
My brothers were doing that one yesterday. :) I think the vehicle levels in the original game were saved until towards the end of development, because at least 4 of the 5 scrapped levels were vehicle levels. So they may not have had enough time to make a proper race, hence the checkpoint system. That's all just speculation on my part, though.
great as always but a minor criticism: it doesn’t really make sense to me to explicitly state to not include lego star wars 1 and 2 because we have the complete sage and then including one of the very few levels that is actually different 😂
I have a personal grudge against the Penguins Lair level, mainly because I had to restart the level over and over to get the minikit in that sliding part near the end. Also the Azkaban level from LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4. Only because I could never finish the game because it kept crashing when I tried to start the level.
Which is your all time WORST Level ? This by far is my best video yet really hope you lot enjoyed this one 😅 Took ages to make , a like would be greatly appreciated that's if you enjoyed 😎
When i played the lego ninjago in the shadow of ronin game on the Nintendo 3ds there was this one level with that giant ice snake and i did not knew how to play it and it took half a hour. Sorry if somethings is spelled wrong or the gramma is wrong i am german
I wholeheartedly agree with Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4. Whenever i replay it, which is probably about once a year, (also my most played Lego game), I always dread playing the forbidden forest level you highlighted in the video, but not for the same reasons. When i was a kid, before I had the entire game, that level was the demo level for some reason. And since i obsessed over any Lego game i had, i would constantly play that level over and over and over again. So I’m completely sick of it, despite me playing the game ten+ years later.
Oh man I feel your decision with Lego Batman 2. I remember that when I was younger I once had to interrupt playing Lego Batman 2 during the Ace Chemicals level. First I said to myself I could quickly finish the level and save (I didn't know how to save during the level) and the level took longer and longer. When I arrived at the final area on the rooftop I had no time left so I had to stop playing. The next time playing I had to do the level from the start on again. Since then I learned how to save progress in the level🤣
My worst Lego Marvel 1 level experience has to be the one with Captain America and Thing on the island. When playing in co-op, you have a hard time getting around without falling off because of Thing or getting around his attacks
Honestly your videos are so well done, we can tell you put so much effort into them so thank you for this lovely entertainment. And your fantastic energy and editing skills on top give an amazing tribute to these incredible lego games. Your videos are always so much fun to watch too.
Before watching this video, I would have said the worst level in the Complete Saga was the Zam Wessell Level. After watching it, I think you reawakened a lost memory within me if just how bad that level was.
@@ruggedeagle I agree. Gunship Calvary is a pain. I was doing it yesterday and nearly destroyed something because of the the sheer amount of times I died. I was so mad lol.
I always thought that the villain version of penguin's lair was worse. If only just because of the slide...the amount of times i had to replay the whole level to get one minikit
For Marvel Superheroes2, it would easily have to be the penultimate level, On Board the Sword. Three words: infinitely respawning enemies. I don't know of any way to completely stem the flow, and I find enemies in MSH2 are particular damage sponges.
It’s a shame that they made the combat so much cooler with loads of special abilities just for everyone to not even want to play with them because of how awful the levels are
In lego Batman 2, Ace Chemicals is one of my favorite levels in the game. The level i would've picked is the level just after the maze level. The one with Scarecrow in it.
The worst level has to be the one where you fight Darth Vader in the complete saga. I mean I heard he's the greatest villain of all time, just for him to start running after every hit🤦♂️🤦♂️
I think the worst LEGO LoTR would have to be the hidden bog or whatever it’s called. I just get so annoyed with Gollum’s same two “run, hide” repeating lines.
For me the worst level in Lego Marvel Superheroes has to be "A Doom With A View" the reason being that it's a direct copy and paste of the level that came before it, it's almost exactly the same in every way except for the Doctor Doom fight. Besides that I think "A Sinking Feeling" is a close second for me. I personally think the whole level is quite boring, the MODOK fight is tedious and the underwater segment would've been amazing if they didn't force you to go at a snails pace because Jean Grey walks through the entire level 🙄
You missed LEGO Island, and LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge, and LEGO Island Xtreme Stunts! These were some of the first LEGO games that felt like the modern generation of LEGO games, even though the concept of the game was a bit different. You had only one playable character, but there was an open world, tons of different levels with different challenges. I would say the level pool was more diverse that, for example, LEGO Star Wars, because, while you didn't have as many puzzles involving special abilities like the Droid Terminals or using the Force, you still had tons of interesting stuff to do, be it driving a car, a boat, diving under the sea, riding a horse, participating in a tournament, flying an airplane, shooting from the back of a car with a machine gun, creating pizzas, and a lot more... Some of the levels were definitely awesome, and some were definitely more boring than others, so there is a lot to think and talk about.
So a few bits of extra details regarding two of these entries. First up, in the original Star Wars: the Video Game, Gunship Cavalry was an autoscroller up until the final stage and had no towing detonator mechanic since I'm pretty sure that hadn't been invented until Lego Star Wars II. So you'd think that without the annoying detonators it'd be a good level right? Well in my personal experience, that is STILL the worst level in the original Lego Star Wars game, you still die over and over to the lasers and it's just janky as hell. Second, I very much agree that Penguin's Lair is the worst level in Lego Batman, but not for the reasons you might expect. See, a while back when I was trying to 100% the game I got to that level and the penguins for some reason were moving so slow and they kept blowing up before reaching the generators. It turns out that depending on your video settings, the penguins will move faster or slower, and it can get to the point that the level is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT.
I would say that the most annoying level in Lego marvel superheroes is the Statue of Liberty one because of how annoying it is to get back up if you fail the parkour at the top.
I remember my brother and I playing the lego pirates game often as kids and when we got to the white cap bay level we’d both change into the choir boy and get onto the raft with him and time it so we all started singing together to the same chord. At the time it was the funniest thing ever. God that game gives me nostalgia
I've been having a lot of trouble with the Magneto level in Lego Marvel Superheroes, because I've been hitting this glitch where one of the triggers in the boss fight won't activate and effectively making it impossible
A note for the Penguin's Lair Mission (and most missions in Lego Batman 1) is that is is INFINITELY WORSE on the DS version of the game... there is not a single mission that is better on the DS than a console.
А huge mistake is to play lego games from the keyboard, a lot of mistakes are made in management, such as in "gunship cavalry" are solved using the gamepad - on it and a quick turn on the spot is really fast and it is more convenient to control the bomb
How about Lego Racers 1 & 2, Lego Island, Lego Rock Raiders (ps1 and pc are different), the Alpha Team game and many more. Bionicle had games I think? Plenty of Lego games are missing from the video. I wanted to know which level in lego racers do you think is the worst.
The worst level from Lego Batman should‘ve been the Wayne Manor Bonus level imo as it is so eerie and kind of causes anxiety and the bomb section just frustrates you
Lego jurrasic world is my favourite lego game, but I felt quite a lot of levels in jp3 were just mediocre. The game overall I think is fantastic but that movie was just kinda boring to play through (not to mention its my least favourite jp/w movie).
@BinaryHedgehog eh, fair enough but they are more puzzle levels and all the others are really good. Especially the long grass section of the jp2 level "The Hunted."
This has to be one of your best videos yet! Amazing editing, laughs and best of all the music! I'm loving the Stranger Things music! You have a great taste 👍
having played through dimensions myself, i'd probably say that the worst level from the main story was the doctor who level. i just remember finding a lot of the gameplay tedious in that one, maybe just because i found myself having to replay it a lot. the worst level pack level was the back to the future one, just because it was so short.
To be fair ur barely even trying in the "Gunship Cavalry" footage. U just got to be patient and wait for the beams to turn of giving u more than enough room to get through. I enjoy the sound of the gunships, enjoy the fast pace because it is a rather short level. Still it's probably one of the worst maps ever created but no need to exaggerate
I remember Penguin level mostly because it's extremelly hard to get all minikits from it - if you miss one thing during sliding down to Penguin you have to redo whole level
What’s worse about Gunship Cavalry, is if you have invincibility on, the lasers become walls and you have to slog through laser after laser just to bring those stupid bombs everywhere.
In Lego Batman I had a scratched Wii disc and the Mr. Freeze level (in particular, all the levels did this at one point) would always freeze and crash the game right before the end and I had to try the level 2 or 3 times just to finish
I remember i used to play all the older Lego games on my wii and so on top of having to deal with infuriating levels sometimes the whole entire system would just hard crash and i had to reboot the whole console, along with the fact that occasionally my Nunchucks would constantly drift me to the left for no reason and never stopped until i rebooted the game multiple times. They weren't broken it just happened randomly.
On a completely unrelated note, I completely agree with Clone Wars being better than Complete Saga. Yes i still love Complete Saga but Clone Wars is just so good in almost everything it does and i never fail to have a good time playing it. Top 5 for me are probably 1. Clone Wars 2. Batman 1 3. Marvel Superheroes 1 4. Lego City Undercover 5. A tie between Pirates and Batman 2
What's funny is monkey mischief is the one level I got stuck on, quite, then kept coming back. It took me a while to figure out how to beat the level. 😂
I believe in lego penguin supremacy.

The venom jump scare scared me so much when I was a kid. I was afraid to even touch the controller for months
9:08
The devs knew this would happen, so they made some collectables attainable by *actually building a staircase.*
TBF there's a lot of crap levels in the Skywalker Saga!
Yeahhh, it's kinda mid tbh, I'm doing a second play trough so wish me luck I guess
My god that was so boring, hated the low visibility and dull atmosphere
Lego Indy 2 also has to be made about a movie that many Indy fans claim it doesn’t or shouldn’t exist. :\
LEGO Harry Potter has the level builder too.
@@xen60xen Yeah, that was another thing that bothered me about the game, the fact that Crystal Skull had three entire chapters dedicated to it. How they managed to get 18 levels out of one movie that was no more complex in its story than any of the other three is beyond me.
Looks like someone forgot Bionicle existed
Thankfully, the complete saga version made this a lot easier to manage.
In my opinion the Death Star trash compactor level in LSWTCS was worse because of those stupid lights that you had to roll on with that machine
This by far is my best video yet really hope you lot enjoyed this one 😅
Took ages to make , a like would be greatly appreciated that's if you enjoyed 😎
Probably Gunship Cavalry…
@@User63747 same
Probably the batboat mission its like sooo annoying
The level of Harry Potter years 1 to 4 with the flashback of Tom Jedusor please tell me I am not the only one to think that
When i played the lego ninjago in the shadow of ronin game on the Nintendo 3ds there was this one level with that giant ice snake and i did not knew how to play it and it took half a hour.
Been waiting ALL week for this, great work!
Im subbed to you
Honestly your videos are so well done, we can tell you put so much effort into them so thank you for this lovely entertainment.
The Dooku chase level, I mean for the second paragraph
you forgot a plethora of games such as stunt rally, racer, lego island 1 and 2
The worst level in lego has to be the complete sagas bounty hunter persuit imo
Very close tie with gunship cavalry
@@ruggedeagle I agree. Gunship Calvary is a pain. I was doing it yesterday and nearly destroyed something because of the the sheer amount of times I died. I was so mad lol.
I always thought that the villain version of penguin's lair was worse. If only just because of the slide...the amount of times i had to replay the whole level to get one minikit
Such a huge video again 😍
The effort is just crazy 🔥🔥
Thanks dude !
@@ruggedeagle your the best man also I fought in the clone wars
@That clone trooper in the back on the high ground no way brother I was a pilot but you got to kill clankers
As a kid, I could never get passed the scarecrow level in Lego batman 1. That level has to be the worst Lego level in my opinion.
For Marvel Superheroes2, it would easily have to be the penultimate level, On Board the Sword. Three words: infinitely respawning enemies. I don't know of any way to completely stem the flow, and I find enemies in MSH2 are particular damage sponges.
literally just googled this video to look for this. jesus christ i just played it and i was miserable.
The editing never disappoints. Keep up the incredible work!!!!
In marvel 1 Venom jumpscaring me scarred me when I was younger. It still does today
The worst level has to be the one where you fight Darth Vader in the complete saga. I mean I heard he's the greatest villain of all time, just for him to start running after every hit🤦♂️🤦♂️
Probably ran out of breathe 😅
+
Which one? There are 3 or 2
@@darthfaul6033 the one in episode 5
imagine if hes like the movies, the game would turn into darl souls
Rugged adding watch time by having two seconds to admire stuff like the epic penguins is so big brain and I love it
It’s so cool to see this channel grow more each upload
I think the worst LEGO LoTR would have to be the hidden bog or whatever it’s called. I just get so annoyed with Gollum’s same two “run, hide” repeating lines.
Agree on that. Played lego lotr a few weeks ago and that level was really annoying, although I really like all the others.
@@wime1903 I agree with the video, it’s one of my favorite games.
So glad the videos are starting to get longer
Took ages this one lol
RuggedEagle: **uses every movie theme known to man**
ContentID: I'll pretend I didn't see that.
Been waiting for a while, cool video!
Thanks man !
So glad to continue to see the growth in the channel and videos you love to see it
A note for the Penguin's Lair Mission (and most missions in Lego Batman 1) is that is is INFINITELY WORSE on the DS version of the game... there is not a single mission that is better on the DS than a console.
Having played both a lot I can back this statement, but it's understandable with the nature of the consoles they were on
А huge mistake is to play lego games from the keyboard, a lot of mistakes are made in management, such as in "gunship cavalry" are solved using the gamepad - on it and a quick turn on the spot is really fast and it is more convenient to control the bomb
It’s incredible how a dude can stay alive on RUclips just by talking about Lego games. I sincerely love it and appreciate your content
As soon as he said white cap bay I immediately went oof because I always find that level super hard.
Love the effort in these vids man! I already love lego games and you just make it better! Todays vid was top-notch!
Thanks dude !
I have a rule for these games. If a level makes me go underwater. I hate it.
Nice video mate. Out of curiosity, was your criteria focused on main story levels only. No side levels or dlc levels?
Don’t forget the original Gunship Cavalry
To be fair, how do you make a set of platformer levels from a glorified slasher pic?
@BinaryHedgehog eh, fair enough but they are more puzzle levels and all the others are really good. Especially the long grass section of the jp2 level "The Hunted."
You should rank the most difficult bosses from each Lego game
Great idea ;)
Hot take, I think a lot of levels from the skywalker sage could fit in a top 20 worst lego levels.
truep
Holy crap I didn’t even realize I had been watching this for 42 minutes lmfao, I thought this was gonna be like 18 mins max lmfao
This has to be one of your best videos yet! Amazing editing, laughs and best of all the music! I'm loving the Stranger Things music! You have a great taste 👍
I actually got stuck in the X-men level and had to watch a random tutorial a YEAR later to finally find out how to do it.
I love your content!
Thanks Dude really appreciate it
I couldn't agree more with Gunship Cavalry, that brings back a lot of dark memories. Also great video, really enjoyed watching.
having played through dimensions myself, i'd probably say that the worst level from the main story was the doctor who level. i just remember finding a lot of the gameplay tedious in that one, maybe just because i found myself having to replay it a lot. the worst level pack level was the back to the future one, just because it was so short.
This randomly showed up in my recommended.
Now I want to buy every Lego game to play them myself again.
So many memories.
I love your speech impediment ❤️
the stackable lego line where u say they just stack them together and hope for the best deserves a like
LETS GOOOO! ANOTHER VIDEO
AAAAAAAYYY
We can all agree that in Lego Batman 1 and 2 it was so fun launching enemies with Clayface.
Yesss, I played lego Batman 2 for so many hours I had trillions of coins, every character except supergirl, still don’t have that one
Thee amount of effort this man puts into his videos is inspirational 👏 🙌 🙏
What’s worse about Gunship Cavalry, is if you have invincibility on, the lasers become walls and you have to slog through laser after laser just to bring those stupid bombs everywhere.
I love how he mispronounces every single word.
You must be fun at parties.
In Lego Batman I had a scratched Wii disc and the Mr. Freeze level (in particular, all the levels did this at one point) would always freeze and crash the game right before the end and I had to try the level 2 or 3 times just to finish
i can comment this and fully know that it will be hidden behind the sea of comments 😎
Man, hearing the How to Train Your Dragon theme in these videos just makes me want to have the series as a Lego game.
Can British people not say was
For some reason gunship cavalry never really bothered me, I didn’t even think of it as a painful level
Top 5 for me are probably
1. Clone Wars
2. Batman 1
3. Marvel Superheroes 1
4. Lego City Undercover
5. A tie between Pirates and Batman 2
Can you make the best levels in every single lego game plss
Is that the how to train your dragon theme in the beginning?
What's funny is monkey mischief is the one level I got stuck on, quite, then kept coming back. It took me a while to figure out how to beat the level. 😂
