Because they are healthy individuals. Inflammation often makes you retain water and put on weight. Overweight can also be a sign of illness, especially if you dont eat junkfood, No sugar, organic, No gluten.
You can do a vo2 max test and see how someone can metabolize carbohydrates more efficiently by putting out less carbon dioxide. These people do better on less fats but more carbs. Also higher thyroid hormones make a difference

Is cortisol resistance reversible ?
Good question..
This video is somehow confusing about the relationship between cortisol and immunity !!
Okay great video on how one arrives at cr, but you shared nothing on: Can one reverse the problem / condition once created. I would assume once one is in this condition the body returns to normal by eliminating the causes of cr?
Please make a video for those who want to gain weight, and have a hard time doing so because of high Metabolism. I eat and eat, but can't put weight in, but my body fat is 28% and 120lbs. I want to Lower body fat, add muscle mass, and maintain a healthy weight. Please balance your videos for those who also suffer to add weight. 🙏🤲🤲🙏🙏❤
My hgb 12.11 hgb 8.5 Iron Saturation 7% I’m so tired I bought beets and carrots too tired to blend or put the groceries up. And I’m achy and fat been trying to lose weight but too tired to keep a routine 😩
Love u from Baghdad 🇮🇶 and all arabic love you please can u make tranolat
My WBC is low. When you look up foods to avoid to raise WBC it says to avoid raw salad and vegetables. That's probably half of my diet. What's up with that?
I think avoid those only if your white cells are severely low not mildly low
Really? What’s it at now?

And a video on lean ppl like myself who burns food quickly, and can't gain weight. Please also do a video for those who want to gain weight.
yes, i second this. he always does a video on people who want to lose wait. what about people who struggle to gain weight??
I have noticed this in the past, but this last time I got sick, I can't identify anything that made me vulnerable.
Stress accumulates in the body ,you can't even feel it but the body can even long after a stressful situation
@@Србомбоница86 Actually, I was talking about when I got sick. No more stress than usual.
Thank you Dr Berg. You really inspire me as a new health youtuber. Looking forward to hit my first 200 subs.

Dr Berg, Please tell me what is the solution to the food allergies. I have been on keto since 3 years and the allergies have barely reduced.
I honestly don’t know what’s going on with my skin, everytime I go into the sun or exercise or stress or if I just get hot my skin flares up like little red dots all of my torso and my back, legs and arms and even on my neck and forehead but my doctor said it was just my white blood cells attacking my body but he didn’t explain why ?. Kinda need some advice about this because idk what to do or treat it

@@yungg5703 I just live with it daily now, I’ve kinda gotten used to the feeling but I do have nasty attacks where my skin feels like I’m being bitten by ants
But something that does treat it is anti allergy medication like hay fever tablets

Hi Dr. Berg i have a question about the occurrence of hot flashes in men especially young adults between their twenties and men what causes it and how to prevent from causing it and thank you!!
isnt prednisone a steriod? my dermatologist stated that I have acute and chronic inflammation which has led to me having Lichen planus and my hair thinning on my scalp, face and chest, however the what I find scary is that the dermatologist suggest for me to take prednisone at 65mg for the first ten days and lower the dosage by 5mg each week for 2 months and then take hydroxychloroquine - I find this very concerning and my body at the age of 37 years old is being pumped full of steriods and hence why i have not taken them - what do you all think?
I've heard supplementing glycine really helps reduce stress but also increases risk of stroke? Is that study reliable?

Dr Berg, l love your videos and l have learned so much. I just learned my sister got shingles and had a horrible reaction to it. Is that related to stress? I have fibro and l know when l am under stress, l have a flare up. Is it the same with shingles or are some people more susceptible to shingles?
I have question that how would we know if I have acute stress or chronic stress?Iam in bad stress for seven years and also taking medicine for that but I don't get sick .Last time I got fever was when Iwas a teenager .Never had allergies or viral infections. So is that mean my immune system is not being affected by my stress and anxiety ?

What happens if we have low cortisol. I have high ACTH, and low cortisol. But my lymphocytes are always way too higher than normal. What can be the reason for this?

It went back to normal a couple months later, no meds, never came to a diagnosis of anything. I was incredibly distressed 3 years ago at the time of making the OG comment searching for answers because the stress was doing all sorts of weird things to my body. I was convinced something was wrong, I have no explanation other than stress was making me sick. I did not have a healthy routine of sleeping/eating which most likely had a huge part to play. Everything was out of wack and exhausted
@@mocampbell2780 Oh ok. Yes, my wbc has been decreasing steadily as well but I’ve never felt sick or unhealthy. I lost a ton of weight and lift/workout everyday these past few years so I am unsure if that’s playing a role. I’m also stressed from nursing school.
@@yungg5703 It might be worth adding I was incredibly skinny at this time. I was very restrictive on what I would put into my body too almost ‘orthorexic’ as I had a fear of foods that ‘weren’t good’ for me or I deemed ‘rubbish’. Just worth a mention as I know when you’re working out a lot you are probably somewhat protein focused and possibly health conscious. WBC changes every hour/ everyday too it never stays the same, perhaps that is just your normal for the moment and like me in a couple years time you will forget about it/not care anymore and return to harmony. I assume it’s more difficult to get your mind off it as you are at nursing school and it is most likely brought to your attention a lot. Honestly the best advice I could give to you (I would have cried in absolute frustration if someone said this to me 3 years ago) is to just let go and say hm oh well that’s weird but whatever. If you are feeling fine then you are fine, i don’t believe anything scarier is going to come get you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge Dr Berg. Can you do a video on, how to lose a double chin?

@@ohmylordforgivemeandmypare232 hey how are you doing?
But how suppressing immune system is a good thing? immune system suppose to activate when there is something wrong, so we need to cure the root cause not to stop the immune system from reacting. Im confused there. we need more explanation on this point.
