Conceding the other two on launch cost me over 1500 euros it did a fantastic job! Now if they would just fix the audio in videos and add 4k with the front camera.
@@Techtablets Watching your video has inspired me to buy the 12 T Pro! Here in Portugal, the 512 GB 14 Pro Max would have cost me over €1899! That's with no charger, no case, and no screen protector! The 12 T Pro will only cost me about €800! And just watching your video has shown me that the performance is close enough for me to choose the Xiaomi over the 14 Pro Max! You saved me over €1,000 for Christmas! Thank you very much!👍
No it doesnt. Xiaomi is inferior in camera and always has bene. Typical of xiaomi they dont pay attention to details. No wind noise cancellation, no 4k on front camera, oversaturated colors, performance inconsistencies, and so on...
@CockOfJustice Yea I know what you mean it is because of apple and samsung both are overpriced so thats why €800 sound cheap nowadays. apple raise price but dont do shit to improve.. Xiaomi is still great for the price because powerful specs Adreno 730 and Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 and insane camera for half the price. thats why I said 'only', but keep in mind specs are going up so price go up also, but at this rate too much. Of course prices are getting ridiculous Id never pay €2000 for a phone. not ever. Im happy Xiaomi came up with a competing flagship under 1000€.
don't know what's to be surprised about, Xiaomi 10T Pro using Samsung HMX 27MP photos + 8k30 videos = brilliant, 12T Pro again using Samsung 200MP sensor, which Samsung will use in S23 , again - good enough without any competition at that price point, front camera performance you can forget, Xiaomi clearly showed they prefer them only for video calls and not for quality, which is utterly fine as u can always turn the phone and selfie yourself with the main camera, the results are always tremendously better with main camera on any brand and price point
considered that the xiaomi 12t pro is against 2 phones that cost 2 times more, its amazing value for the money. it wins hands down just for the price difference, even its not the best of the three phones.
@@Techtablets yeah its what i tought, even It doesn't excel in nothing between those competitors, the price/quality Is quite impressive (I still have my Mi 9t pro, and still impress me that Is a capable phone After 3 year of intensive use) Now, i'm really considering this 12t pro as an upgrade seeing what it can do and the "limitations" that it has
I have been using the Xiaomi 12tpro for more than two months, a device that is used in an easy and smooth manner, and it has a large random memory, and its processor is of the type Snape Drakon 5, and it has a very good front camera, compared to the three versions. I advise you to buy it
The audio quality on the S22 is simply brilliant as opposed to the other 2. That's a surprise to be honest, especially when the 13 Pro Max had way better audio quality. Even the selfie portrait on the S22 Ultra was wow. Kudos to Samy this season. 👏
I bought one of those cheap fur wind mufflers for a few bucks for my Xiaomi instead of paying a LOT more for a Samsung just to eliminate wind noise Granted both Xiaomi and Apple should just add a better mic because it's not like those are so expensive either. Definite L on their part. And it's definitely weird that my phone looks like it's wearing a wig now as well
Comparing the Color Accuracy of Video. I say 12T was better. Can easily see it on 1:40 the Pavement and Water.. iphone is just yellowish (is it hue)? while 12T and Samsung r close to being more natural also you can see huge difference on 4k60 test at 3:26 mark the 12T is better only problem is the Sound Quality. I also think that the Wash Out Color of the Video on Samsung is like that due to the Anti-Glare coating on their camera.
Thanks Sir, I just pull my trigger with 12T Pro. Actually not expected to compare to those flagship but it's seen 12T Pro really standout with such price point
Nice comparison,. but being a photo lover (you can check my unsplash page) i noticed some imperfection on your review. You confused sometime some photography idea's. For example most of the time you don't noticed how bad are skintones (and in general color precision and retention) in iphone, you only started to notice a bit in lowlight and described as blue tint, when it's not tint at all, is just chroma denoise processing that apple is doing that is literally killing color precision to the point that plenty of shades of colors are missing from the final image: xiaomi and samsung have much better color retentions and precision, where they fault a bit is a bit of excessive saturation (and you saw that in flower color rendering of things, caused by this plus a bit of overexposure, iphone sffer less in that because of huge lack in colors rendering and desaturated looks...basically he did so wrong that in the opposite cases like flowers one ends up winning: the best will be an adaptive saturation but oem seems like they are not able to properly create it). Another thing where iphone is much worse than other 2 is overall processing of sharpening, every iphone photo is overprocessed to the point that on big monitors the photo looks like an oil painting, mch more than 12t pro and s22 ultra, plus denoise is worse than other two most of the times (as you described in selfie one at nigh for example). Then hdr talks, apple and samsung use an aggressive hdr, that's why they have more dynamic range in that seaside test you did, but in generale this extreme hdr can only lead to innatural light rendering, that in photography we HATE, for example i prefer to close shadows as much as i can preserving highlights, instead of creating a flat in range image that is useless from a photography standpoint, and that explains why you feel that too the 12t pro photo as the more natural from the 3, is just less cartoony and processed, plus better color science as i said above. Now in terms of photo the things that surprised me are the depht processing much better on xiaomi (even if i hate fake bokeh as a pro amateur entusiasth) compared to apple, i literally not expect this, and ultrawide camera being better than i think too, but this one is easily exaplainable considering that both apple and samsung use bad sensors on ultrawide, basically not better than the one used in 12t pro, except for the 8mpx. Now, video's department, again, the ones from xiaomi and samsung have plenty more color precision compared to apple ones, eis is much better on xiaomi on daylight, decent on lowlight, where apple have better eis (samsung much worse). In terms of dynamic range is the same things as photos, with apple to the extrmish hdr values, that ends up with innatural looking footage (that uyou described as oversaturated, instead is not saturation problem, is just overhdr), plus usual oversharpen. In terms of audio recording i noticed that actually even with 96kbps xiaomi is clearer (crazy) somehow and less muffled than iphone, and very close to samsung if not better in some footages you sended here: iphone audio is muffled, many times artifacted from wind noise reduction (literally the worst awind noise reduction on the market right now). Basically feels like xiaomi have the best mics processing of frequencies but overall quality is lowered by high compression compared to samsung that to me looks like the best in audio deparment in this video. So final note from my side, hoping that this comment will be noted from someone instead of being just dead words: to me it looks like xiaomi (the underdog from years) did a hell of a job, not only the phone is literally half priced than other two (HALF), but it is better on processing, main camera sensors, microphones, and crazy enough even on ultrawide (and selfie too sometimes), lacking only the periscope camera of s22u (but iphone lacks that too). The in sensor zoom works well up to 4x (that's why 5x is decent but not awesome, this is upscaling from 4x crop) in photos, less good on video's but considering the price this phone looks like a very solid phone, that excells on main camera photos and videos. If 12t pro price will go down a bit, like 500 euros can be a total flagship killer without any other words, considering how solid is phone in terms of battery, screen, soc, charge, and storage performance. Really hope that my comments can help someone to better judge without considering prices or logo of just consumer things.
Hi, thanks for the comment and your views. This is just opinion based my interpretation isn't set in stone and everyone's view is different. It's all subjective, one person might like warm skin tones, other cooler tones or more natural. Others may like the iPhone oversharing and processing etc.
@@rainertan3013 unfortunately nope(just a poor student) , that's why i hoped that most people are afraid of what i am saying. When you say things so straight but technically like i did plenty of other people start easy to say that you are a fanboy or even payed by some oems. The truth is that i have Samsung tv, LG monitor, pcspecialist laptop, Samsung tcl huawei and xiaomi phones, plenty of hp devices and many others things, i dont have probably any single priducts in my Life of a single brand. You can see my photos at my unsplash page to understand what i can achieve with my phones (Nokia n95, galaxy S2 s3, lumia 930 950, s7 edge, tcl 10l, mi 10 the last ones i bought personally in last years). I am not a jpeg shooter, i love photography, i only shot raw with my phones since 2014 and edit myself all my photos, so i have some knowledges to understand probably better than most of other people, and especially i say precisely why iPhone (and less Samsung too) is worse in this test than the underdog cheaper phone. The fact that a half priced phone is doing better than double priced ones is so wrong that i dont really understand why no one is noticing that
@@Techtablets of course in photography everyone have different tastes in terms of color science or light equalizations so as sharpening and other things (that's why raw is better than jpeg for us photo lovers) but i have to say that some parameters are just standard that should be hard to avoid even in a subjective matter. For example if iPhone skin tone render lips yellowish Grey instead of proper pinkish hue is a huge problem, such as plenty of other color details lost in the denoising process. Even Apple back at keynote precisely pointed out that 14 pro max have much better color retention than 13 pro max but in facts there's so much color loss that is crazy that almost any youtubers is not noticing, there are entirely frequencies deviated to near shades colors and plenty totally erased. Even sharpening is hardly subjectively, there's a reason why dslr processing is natural and smooth and smartphone one is strong and arsh, and that's because of target, big screens for dslr and small ones for phone to target social share but doing an analisys is non sense to not noticing the innatural look photos assume on proper monitor or tv, at least when comparing one camera to another, is just a methodology standard tha no one can avoid, no tastes involved. In this case is like saying that iphone 5 is just different than iphone 14 just because they render differently image, when in the end iphone 14 one is just better than iphone 5, even if someone tastes maybe can appreciate more the old one more. Unfortunately i have the feeling that Apple deeply knows the problems of his processing right know (as i said they pointed out during keynote o è of my points of critics) but they will just not do something huge until blogs and youtubers will just say that iphone is the best of the best. For example even if ultrawide shots in your taste are much better on xiaomi than other two, i am already reading every where that 12t pro have a bad ultrawide camera, when practical results literally show opposite. This is so wrong mate.
@@GiuseppeFamiani2209 I feel your points are valid. Most of the time I felt that the iPhones blue tint is making pictures visually not appealing, but of course it makes videos in bright sunlight look great. Oversaturated, but it seems many like that. And what's the use of lesser wind noise, if the sound becomes compressed and muffled as on the iPhone and the Samsung? To me the Samsung was the winner overall, but considering the price difference and actual people photos rendered more natural, the Xiaomi is pretty good.
22 Ultra offers not only cameras but also the stylus. Nevertheless, be careful with S22 Ultra because thr camera is fragile, if you accidentally drop it, it will affect the cameras (hardware).

I really liked Xiaomi on video comparison. Colors look more natural than apple and Samsung. Also stabilization is quite good. Xiaomi making good devices with crazy prices.
3 of them are very competitive with each other in every aspect and category, so now let's judge accordingly with price? 😝 Overall it's all about money!! Congratulations Xiaomi 12t Pro is winner
I think you are spot on if you just use the primary camera, and 90% or more use is photos, not video. However, no zoom, trash macro, mediocre video, only a 1080p front camera (for some sacrilege), no action mode, etc.; you pay the extra for the added value.
really impressed with Xiaomi's camera improvements, which i thought started with the mi 10 ultra. If this was a blind test, xiaomi's got a good chance tbh i think their R&D did pay off. Looking forward to the xiaomi 13 ultra!
The S22 Ultra will never stop impressing me. Honestly, I'm not for 108 and 200 mpx sensors, but this Xiaomi and the Motorola Ultra are really starting to make me believe that this 200 mpx sensor has potential and that supplemented with Samsung's algorithms it can really give something not bad 🤔. Ps: although I would have really preferred that Samsung use the Isocel GN sensor used by Xiaomi in its Mi 11 Ultra .
100% agreed. I've got the edge 30 ultra and the s22 ultra. The 200MP is great but the software needs alot of work and daylight pictures are only just a bit better than the s22 ultra. That sensor in the hands of Samsung could be amazing.... Although I will add that the edge 30 ultra is easily the fastest android device I've used its so smooth🎊 well done moto on that.
From what I've seen so far the ISOCELL HP1 has huge protentional in the right hands with good optimisation to match. I talk a bit more about that here in the dedicated 12T Pro camera review: ruclips.net/video/6WwTdq80a3s/видео.html
They say this 200 megapixel sensor used by moto and Xiaomi is from Samsung and could be in the s23 🤔 Greetings and blessings 🙌 As always an excellent and honest review💪
@@luisFernando-nd2gu Megapixels aren’t everything especially when you’re just binning them together. What’s the point of a 200mp camera if you’re still going to be competing and getting beaten out by a 48mp camera in use by the general public and film makers? Samsung cameras are good but they could be so much better with more efficient and effective software.
my 12T pro just arrived and seems a solid phone, it feels good while holding it in one hand, the screen has a very nice reaction on 120hz while scrolling in apps, menus or when playing (tried out on MCOC). Also did a couple of photos and they seem to be pretty good, didn't tried the zoom yet. It came with 49% battery, I had to do some updates on it, set my cloud, my drive and etc... and when it got at 15% battery I tried the charging (with no charge boost) and in 18 mins, while watching this video and writing this comment it reached 95%, so I guess this means it`s real that in 20 min you can charge your phone to 100% which is an amazing feature. overall a good option against iphone/samsung/huawei or other very expensive brands.
Please, don't use your phone while charging, I fucked up my battery for being like that hahaha they're making this super fast charge so you can leave it alone for 20 mins without losing patience
Don't use your phone while charging, especially with those high speed charging capacities. Be patient those 20 minutes, and don't go above 85% and below 20% while charging and discharging, your battery will thank that.
I have the Samsung S22 Ultra. The Camera is really great with the 3 optical and 10 optical Zoom. Also the 30 and 100 Digital Zoom. But the colors are to artificial. I would prefer the Xiaomi 12 T pro or the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The colors from the cameras are natural.
So, apparently the 200MP 2021 sensor from Samsung is not just a gimmick... it will be interesting to see the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 200MP sensor (HP2?) and how will this sensor perform on a real cameraphone.
I found myself in this exact situation when trying to decide between the Samsung S22, iPhone 14, and XM12T Pro. After careful consideration, I chose the 12T Pro because it has the best combination of features that were important to me. The camera was top-notch, the battery life was impressive, and the overall design felt sleek and modern. Additionally, the 12T Pro offered a great user experience with its fast processing speed and intuitive interface. Most importantly, the value I am getting from a price point of view is great.
You are the only reviewer that acknowledges the jutter that a lot of Android phones have when recording video with changes in exposure when panning. It drives me crazy on my Pixel 4a.
Another great camera comparison from you Chris that puts things into perspective. Appreciate the hard work that you go through Sir, to provides us with very enjoyable and informative content. ✌✌👍👍
I'm not a Samsung fanboy, but for me the S22ULTRA is the best. Sometimes it loses, but overall is the best. For me especially in the video and audio. It records the best audio.
I don't normally write comments but thank you for a none bias review where you actually did real life capture what normal people do instead of only viewing a phone weakness for like 👍🏾
I was lucky enough to try both the iPhone pro 14 and the S22 ultra Both phones have their UPS and Downs Definitely on portrait mode iPhone is the best when it comes to the video recording but when it comes to more natural colors and that more Stepalisation the 22 ultra nail it!! Not to mention the most important feature that I love about the S22 ultra is the amazing zoom which is incredible.. to zoom in on items you're not sure what it is and the moon shots Are unbelievable mind blowing for a cellphone..And that's one of the reasons why I decided to go with the S22 ultra snapdragon version..Wiich is the best SOFTWARE for the S22 Ultra..Not to mention I can fully customize my phone the way I want too And not the way they want you to like the iPhone..great video by the way i love it!!
Thanks for the comment. Yes the iPhone video is why I have them, only real reason and for these camera comparisons. I agree the S22 Ultra colors are great and the zoom is amazing.
@6:47 the samsung is a definite win for me over the iphone. to me even the xioami is better than the iphone. brighter absolutely doesn't mean better (as im sure you already know). The iphone looked over exposed to me
I love the comparison video you made. You deserve my subscription! Gosh im surprised that 12T performed well. I like the video microphone of s22, the software and camera of iphone 14 pro and stability of xiaomi.
Thank you so much for this video. I also want to buy a new phone but I was hesitating between s22 ultra/13pro max/ mi 12T pro & oppo reno 8 pro. Now I choose s22 ultra since it gives the results I want.
The mighty 200MP sensor plus Xiaomi's great processing really make the 12T Pro a force capable of taking on these two ultra premium devices, as long as you stick to the primary camera and to still photos. However, the cheaper nature (including the fact that Xiaomi themselves don't want it to be their camera "flagship") shows in the lack of higher quality lens structure and/or lens coating that would prevent the lens flare you talked about or - even worse - the extreme purple fringing present. Similarly, the blown-out flowers show a lack of fine tuning (which may be corrected in future updates) that is probably due to the device not having been given the same amount of attention as the main line cameras with a Leica branding.
12T pro doing great, it's advertised as 750 euros but you will be able to get it much cheaper on the Chinese market. More of a budget midrange phone then a flagship
One aspect as a photographer is what’s fixable regarding white balance and overall colors. I always adjust my photos, sometimes on my laptop or iPad, but always in my phone. Not so much with videos. But my main win with the 14 Pro are the 48 MP photos, so much quality to work with.
@@Techtablets I know! Considering the sensor size - and lens size - it’s unbelievable how much undistorted detail one can work with in the RAW files. This said by a guy who said 30 years ago “digital photo will never be as good as film” (me) 🤣🤣
12T Pro colors and exposure needs some tuning. It's interesting to see that the iphone 14 Pro isn't that great because in other reviews it mostly comes on top. Personally I liked the S22 more than 12T.
iphone just has awful colours. If they retune their colour science it will easily be the best of the bunch. Or if you shoot raw the iphone is the best.
The reason why to buy promax is because the price is more expensive than another phone, price creates pride that brings appreciation, that is one of human need in today's generation.
Clear win for the 12T Pro, it went head to head with arguably the 2 best camera phones and traded blows with them.... unbelievable considering the price of it...
I'm blown away right now at how bad the HDR is on the Xiaomi is. I think the massive sensor of the Xiaomi under exposing the night shot is probably why that blue sign is correctly exposed. (Every time you increase MP, you decrease the amount of light -- just physics)
Was translated with Google translator: I got the Xiaomi 12T Pro relatively cheaply with a Vodafone contract with a Black Week campaign. I live in Germany and now pay 34.99€ per month for 24 months (+49€ one-time payment for the mobile phone) for 45GB of Internet (with 5G+ and GigaDepot), telephone/SMS flat rate and a 12T Pro with 256GB. In Germany 45GB is quite a lot, but I know that it's cheaper in other countries. By German standards, the contract is really good value for money, only with the poorer O2 network you might get a little more GB, but the LTE coverage there is a bit worse and the 5G coverage is significantly worse and the average speed of LTE is just as well times a little more than half compared to Vodafone and Telekom Netz. In any case, I'm absolutely happy with the cell phone, the camera isn't really that important to me, but it takes really good pictures with the main camera for the price. The ultra wide-angle camera isn't good in good light conditions, but it's adequate and it's still a good thing to have. The macro camera, however, is really just junk. Xiaomi could have invested the few euros more to at least get usable pictures if you want to photograph very small things to share them. I think the battery life is really good and I can finally use my smartphone without energy saving mode. The performance is of course absolutely top and I'm no longer constantly upset that something is lagging. Previously had a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro after my Oneplus 8 Pro was stolen. The Oneplus 8 Pro was really great back then, I loved it so much, but I didn't pay attention once and it was gone.
Good job on this. The microphone on the 12t pro was terribly bad, almost like on that of a phone 10 years ago. The lighting on 12t pro was surprisingly good on the hotel picture.. It's a toss up between the ultra and 14 pro. I'll give it to Samsung for the zoom. 👍
Nice test Chris...personally I think that this test showed the great potential of these sensors especially for photos because you can crop the image without losing the quality...but as it turned out these sensors will need much better optics than the ones used today... as for the phone itself, I would probably prefer the Xiaomi 12 Pro today...it comes to me as a much more comprehensive phone for the same price
@@Techtablets Yes exactly...but it seems to me that this phone is just a test 200Mpx model for Xiaomi...that's why the tragic rest of the cameras...let's see what the future brings
@ TechTablets Explain in a short detailed synopsis , Just a few lines : Why you consider that the iPhone 14 Pro ( Max ) , Takes the best overall video ? And which would you recommend as the best all round all purpose phone , The iPhone 14 Pro ( Max ) or The S22 Ultra ?
@@rdmz135 To be forced into one or the other seems rather bad And the still picture colours are not correct either And the quality may be problematical
Yes I bought a Pixel 7 Pro and will do it again with a few different phones. Right now I'm working on a 12S Ultra Vs Moto Edge 30 Ultra Vs 12T Pro video.
Thanks for the review. 100% agree with your conclusions. I think the portraint mode on the Xiaomi is outstanding. Otherwise seems to be the usual mixed results. Btw. do you know the channel Geekerwan? They make quite good indepth reviews of mobile chipsets, think one of them explanied the snapdragon performance/overheating thing.
iPhone is almost always on top with cameras. Their integrated software is just better (hate to say but "it just works"). Just think they've been beating everyone else with a relatively small camera sensor because their software is *that* good whereas the likes of Xiaomi et al. keep trying to bamboozle people by saying "oh look it has a 4 gazillion megapixel camera!" and yet somehow the photos and videos always come out a bit of a mixed bag.
12T's camera doesn't seem that bad, except: - UW low res and only 1080p, front camera only 1080p too - audio only at 96kb/s; that is too low to capture good audio. - 2MP macro bs. I'd rather have microsd slot or 3.5mm jack than this. Their asking price is kinda much considering those flaws. Audio bitrate can be fixed, but the other can't be fixed.... did they blew their budget on the 200MP sensor? I think 8MP-1080p and 20MP(tetracell-which outputs 5MP)-1080p aren't acceptable for the price. But that's just my humble opinion. I like xiaomi's natural look though, not the colour, but more to the less sharpening. Not oversharpened, making it look much more natural. iPhone and samsung oversharpened their photo way too much (I use A52s, very visible sharpening halo with the built in app-- so I use lightroom to capture natural and nicer pictures... grain and not-sharp images look the best, just no HDR for lightroom raw unfortunately.).
It does feel like the whole camera budget was blown on this great HP1 200MP sensor. So the others were sadly throw in so at least we got something. The iPhone oversharping is much worse this time around compared to the iPhone 13 Pro. I my eyes the 14 Pro has gone backwards in terms of photo quality. I agree, the pricing is a bit more than I expected. My guess was 649 or 699 tops.
@@Techtablets Right? The asking price is too much considering the almost-if-not-useless additional cameras. Yeah, sometimes I found recent iPhone photos aren't super...great. Those overprocessed look is very obvious, though it's not the worst in the market (just, again, considering the price...).
@@Techtablets unfortunately the audience that once was isn't there any more, however, there are plenty of people waiting for a review from someone reliable like yourself so they can decide whether to buy it or not 👍
Huawei is banned/dead in Europe and America. Honor is only available in select markets, which is a shame because I wanted to try the new "Muse" camera.
Knowing Xiaomi, they tend to over-saturate the colors. Samsung tends to up the vibrance of the greens and blues whilst also having processing colors to correct them, like in that shore scene. The iPhone, as expected, was the most consistent of the bunch. Although, the iPhone looks so processed and artificial when it came to some scenes in the video, especially the humans. Generally, iPhone videos have great dynamic range and quality! Though, this can sometimes make it unnatural. The Samsung is a mix-bag, although results tend to be within vibrant or contrasty for the still shots and color clear on videos. The Xiaomi. Decent. And that's just about it. I think it should be noted that these are taken in more specific conditions. If you try to capture images in more, unconventional times, you'd see what I'? Talking about.
as for the front facing video... 1080 is plenty! I don't need to my ugly mug in 4k. The xiaomi stabilization looks pretty decent. too bad it doesn't have a 2x or 3x lens. I'm surprised to say that the Samsung seems to have the most natural colors. that wasn't always the case.
Yes, agree, 4K is for vlogs and pro users, but for most of us, 1080p is fine. I suppose they could give a choice, but if it saves money, that would be Xiaomi's take.
@@andyH_England I'd argue even for those blessed for a viewable face, 1080 is enough even for professional use. Having good audio quality is actually more important when it comes to keeping people engaged and not turned-off by one's content.
Those 2 crappy sensor is what the 12T letting down i wish Xiaomi put instead a high MP maybe 13 or 20MP and put an AF so you can use it as macro and also put 2.5x optical zoom @Xiaomi come on its 2022 you still using this 2x digital it's time to keep up. But overall my vote will go Samsung S22 Ultra because all the environment you put Samsung is consistent with it in picture sides idk why we still see that light flaring in 12T even it have a 8P lens than s22U 7P thank you Chris for sharing this wonderful review.❤️❤️❤️🫰
Yes a 13MP or better with focus and a great main camera and done. No need for rubbish 2MP. The 200MP digital photos at 2x even 2.5x look as good as optical cameras. I think it's because of the coating on the S22U lens it seems to have something to cut back the lens flare but the best is the Vivo X80+ and X70 Pro+ with the Zeiss T* coating.
Was disappointed that they kept decontenting the T series in terms of auxiliary cameras, but man, that main sensor and video output.. fantastic! Always trust the Xiaomi T phones to punch way, way above their weight. And with Leica, the colorn reproduction is getting much better. Embarrassing for Apple really. Am amazed at the lack of daytime judder on the 12T Pro. Sad that they STILL haven't fixed the poor audio recording, and have even gone backwards, but it should make an excellent B roll video camera. Which is what I use my 10T Pro for.
The 12T Pro did an amazing job against the 14 Pro Max and S22 Ultra! I might just buy the 12T Pro! For the price, it offers amazing performance!

don't know what's to be surprised about, Xiaomi 10T Pro using Samsung HMX 27MP photos + 8k30 videos = brilliant, 12T Pro again using Samsung 200MP sensor, which Samsung will use in S23 , again - good enough without any competition at that price point, front camera performance you can forget, Xiaomi clearly showed they prefer them only for video calls and not for quality, which is utterly fine as u can always turn the phone and selfie yourself with the main camera, the results are always tremendously better with main camera on any brand and price point

The audio quality on the S22 is simply brilliant as opposed to the other 2. That's a surprise to be honest, especially when the 13 Pro Max had way better audio quality. Even the selfie portrait on the S22 Ultra was wow. Kudos to Samy this season. 👏

12T Pro FTW... for it price, insane performance overall
Hahaha, thanks for the info! Are u sure u are nt from xiaomi marketing team?

The S23 Ultra is even better, better EIS with video
The Zeiss T* coating on the lens of the 200MP sensor would be perfect. Hopefully Vivo can do this with the X90 Pro.
12t was best for most of the video 😎
12T pro doing great, it's advertised as 750 euros but you will be able to get it much cheaper on the Chinese market. More of a budget midrange phone then a flagship
One aspect as a photographer is what’s fixable regarding white balance and overall colors. I always adjust my photos, sometimes on my laptop or iPad, but always in my phone. Not so much with videos. But my main win with the 14 Pro are the 48 MP photos, so much quality to work with.

I got the Xiaomi 12T Pro relatively cheaply with a Vodafone contract with a Black Week campaign.
Xiaomi never disappoints bro! Great and amazing work from 12T Pro
I was looking forward to upgrading to the Xiaomi 12t pro but after hearing how awful the wind noise is in this review, I'm not getting it.
Wind nosie is the worst it's so bad in parts I was forced to one of the other 2 phones
Thanks I love detailed comparisons like this and you comments are also very helpful in directing my attention to what matters.
Glad it was helpful!
Better optics and better ultra wide would be a good start
@@Techtablets Yes exactly...but it seems to me that this phone is just a test 200Mpx model for Xiaomi...that's why the tragic rest of the cameras...let's see what the future brings

Just a few lines :
Why you consider that the iPhone 14 Pro ( Max ) ,
Takes the best overall video
?
And which would you recommend as the best all round all purpose phone ,
The iPhone 14 Pro ( Max )
or
The S22 Ultra
?
iphone video is slightly sharper and has way less judder

The colours don't seem to be true
@@andrewlinesjah4538 yes, colours are not accurate. but ill take that over judder any day.

To be forced into one or the other seems rather bad
And the still picture colours are not correct either
And the quality may be problematical

Just picked up the Xiaomi 12T Pro 256gb/12gb ram for 470£ on sale in Denmark. Great deal

Yes the OIS and EIS seemed good, but a few judders in panning. I hope that can bix fixed.

XIAOMI 12T PRO I LOVE IT 🤩
Do you plan doing this with the Pixel 7 pro ?
@@bluetech2809 apple very bad
Real camera comparison , not the hype we witness for iPhones from reviewers... Very real.
for price to performance, xiaomi won.
It sure did
Hi sir, which do you think is better in terms of camera or overall performance - Xiaomi 12x or Xiaomi 12T pro? Thank you!
12T pro
Not even a competition
12T's camera doesn't seem that bad,
except:
- UW low res and only 1080p, front camera only 1080p too
- audio only at 96kb/s; that is too low to capture good audio.
@@Techtablets
Right? The asking price is too much considering the almost-if-not-useless additional cameras.
Yeah, sometimes I found recent iPhone photos aren't super...great. Those overprocessed look is very obvious, though it's not the worst in the market (just, again, considering the price...).
And at 749 euros using budget phones sensors the 2MP marco and 8MP is an insult!
Here in Colombia The 12T pro cost almost the half of a Iphone 14 Pro max and the S22 , so making it unbeateable for the price.
S22 was the overall best

Hey, can you please review the Huawei Mate 50 Pro?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive from Huawei, the global model. Hopefully soon and I'll do a camera comparison.
@@Techtablets thank you
Just hope it arrives soon and all interest will be gone soon.
@@Techtablets unfortunately the audience that once was isn't there any more, however, there are plenty of people waiting for a review from someone reliable like yourself so they can decide whether to buy it or not 👍
R.I.P Huawei. Now Xiaomi took your place. But still Samsung is the Best now and forever and it will delete iPhones now or later.
Huawei is banned/dead in Europe and America. Honor is only available in select markets, which is a shame because I wanted to try the new "Muse" camera.
Crazy good video, loved it. Hands up, subscribed + bell!
Thank you!
Did you try any of the 200MP or 50MP modes
as for the front facing video...
@@Techtablets yeah Vivo Zeiss T*Coating is best in minimizing the light flares i see Sony too using same coating.
It doesn't have the Leica color science though. They did mention at the event they worked on the software processing. It certainly does show.
1:27 3:17 Is the color of the water black in real view? or is it blue? :) which phone is the real color

The 12T pro speaker is bad with wind
Yes very bad at handling the wind noise.
Is there any workaround to disable the overexposure on the newer model of iPhones?
Yes, you fix that by changing the exposure settings.
