AFRICA | This is a deep, emotional and relaxing meditative piece of music, designed to transport you to the continent of Africa. Feauturing powerful, deep and beautiful male and female African singing from Senegalese artists Tadiane Batjily and Marietou Kouyate , in the style of traditional Malian folk from the country Mali. Zimbabwe Mbira instruments can be heard playing throughout, as well as ambient soundscapes and pads that create an atmospheric and spiritual sounding composition. Nature sounds such as birds chirping, and nightime cricket sounds that add a natural ambience.

There is more to this music than just sounds. I almost cried thinking about all of this beauty being stripped from my African Ancestors. The colonizers knew that if we could hear this poweful music and our drums and chanting for the Motherland they would have been too powerful to contain. I really feel the Ancestors with this one. Salaam.

This music has invoking vibrations. It pulls at my heart and reminds me of a place where I belong and it is not Earth. Everytime I listen to it I cry and I keep saying "I want to go home, I want to go home." It is a longing for a place I can't see but I can feel it, I feel it withing my entire being Soon Come.
