All of them have their roots in Disney/Universal theater/music. To me, it's their attention to ALL of the detail that makes them artists, not "only" musicians. They are interested in presenting gorgeous music - but also an experience.
I think this one is a 12 out of 10 for me, it’s so good. It’s hard to suggest because I don’t know what you like but you also can’t go wrong. Maybe try Drunken Sailor for a fun one and Hellfire for an epic Disney cover.
Since you did this one, I recommend you do their humorous sequel to this, Drunken Sailor. Please note that there is a bonus scene at the end before patron list appears.
This video really blew reactors minds when it came out. The first singer was wearing a "blind eye" lens. I don't know it you like video games, but I highly recommend The Dragonborn Comes. Now that one really freaked out reactors that were fans of the game Skyrim.
This is a cover of a song that came originally from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End. Jose is pronounced 'Hozay.' Maybe 'theater' is the word you're looking for? These guys are often called the theater kids of a capella. The bass singer's name is Geoff Castellucci; he has the most name recognition, and he can produce beautiful elaborate multi-part songs and videos all by himself, but he wouldn't be able to pull off a number like this without the others. Each of them brings something unique and amazing to the table (and the fact that they nearly always have an incredible guest artist performing with them just expands on the range of songs and genres they can do.) It's tough to recommend just two, but their covers of We Don't Talk About Bruno and Creep come to mind.
I think I get what you mean; like a musical where the performers act and SING at the same time. Don't see it as a song, indeed - harrumph (how do you spell that? Never had an excuse to use it before ☺)
This is why I gave them the #TheatreKidsOfACapella. Musical Theater is what you're going for. This is what makes them stand out from other Acapella groups.
They can also blow you away just sitting around in regular clothes . Try Creep , I Can't Make you Love Me, or Tennessee Whiskey. Jose Rosario, the featured guest in center with the sword, was called in last minute to fill in for another guest tenor who wasn't able to get in during Covid restrictions. Jose was performing in Hamilton, but was able to fill in because the play was also shut down during Covid. There are usually 5 members, however J .None left to sing for a few years with the U.S. Naval Band. Another tenor named Earl left permanently a few yrs. back. The "blind" pirate, Cesar, is the newest permanent member who replaced Earl, a tenor. J. None comes back now and then to sing with them when he is on leave. They have a core of 4 permanent members: Geoff Castelucci, Bass/ Baritone/Tenor; Layne Stein, Beatboxer/Baritone/ Tenor; Eli (like 'jelly'') Jacobson, (bald) high rock Tenor.: and Cesar de la Rosa, Baritone/High Tenor who can sing whistle notes. Voiceplay often features Anthony Garguilia, Omar Cardona, or E.J. Cardona. as guest tenors. Everyone hopes J. None will return permanently after his military stinit is over. Every guest featured is exceptional each time. Voiceplay sometimes adds a woman occasionally for the female parts in their "theater" covers. (Moana, Little Mermaid, We Don't Talk About Bruno).
Voiceplay is both the "Theater Kids of Acapella" and "The Kings of Halloween" because of their love of dressing up and performing. Voiceplay is located in Orlando Florida and all have performed in shows at theme parks. In allof their there's a theme and they dress in costumes that go with the theme. Voiceplay has a bunch of fantastic videos to choose from going back many years. This is in Pirate's of The Caribbean 3. Sung by a young boy and pirates that are shackled and being executed. Jose Rosario= ho say row sar rio. My suggestions.... Road Trip.... Is a live 8,minute performance. Done at the Sing Off acapella competition show in 2014 season 4. In The Hall of The Mountain King.... Just 5 trolls around a cauldron in the woods throwing in various ingredients to make their voices better. The song is an orchestra piece written and performed in 1875 in the play Peer Gynt. But is very popular in other ways as well. In place of instruments are bum, dum, la throughout. In this video Left to right in back.... Cesar De La Rosa - baritone, tenor. José Rosario Jr - feature, tenor. Eli (like jelly) Jacobson - tenor, rock tenor, lighting, arrangements. Front L - R.... Layne Stein - beatboxer, baritone, arrangements. Co-owner of Pattycake Productions with former member Tony Wakim. Geoff Castellucci - bass, arrangements. Voiceplay is an independent group. They do everything themselves except intricate makeup, cameras and audio mixing.
Thank you LeoJ for another great reaction to Voice Play. Please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of Hell Fire from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Geoff ( the bass singer ) has an amazing range.
You do lovely reactions and I am subscribing today. However, a reactor that I think you would enjoy, entirely different style, is Sir Hairless. The J in Jose is pronounced as an H. The most recent live concert that VoicePlay performed was with Chicago. It is on RUclips somewhere.

For something completely different from them, try I Can't Make You Love Me. This suggestion comes with a warning. They will break your heart.

VoicePlay don't always do a full costume production with their covers but when they do they're spectacular.
Since you did this one, I recommend you do their humorous sequel to this, Drunken Sailor. Please note that there is a bonus scene at the end before patron list appears.
I second that suggestion 😊

Dragonborn is the video that introduced me to Voiceplay. I found them through Geoff a short time after I found him doing "Ain't No Sunshine".

From your choice of shirts I think you'll like their Little Mermaid Medley.

Jose was top left in the video. and they never fail to blow me away with their videos.
They definitely made this song their OWN ❤
This song is hundreds of years old mainly attribbuted to the pirates of the 1400s through the early 1800s.
One of their best.

voiceplay is known as the theatre kids of acapella for a reason....lol
I did know that, that's pretty cool

You're welcome ♥
Go listen to Oogie Boogie vocals great and they really "camp" it up..Lotta fun!

Thanks for subbing and thanks for the super thanks, I'll check them out!
You have to hear the one with all Bass singers that one is so so much better😊
What's it called?
