@@gidzgud And you had little choice, right? Skyrim so often drags you to the dark side. What can be found in Skyrim is wisdom, but respect is often lacking, and little I know about Jesus I thought the lable 'infinite wisdom and respect' does apply.
Happens with mehrune Dagon or however you spell it, during the Daedric quest step of combing the dagger parts at his alter. He asks you to kill the museum guy, if you refuse, he doesn't fix the dagger, and summons daedra. It's also your first interaction with him, so if you refuse to follow him and be his champion with his dagger, he does summon enemies instead of forcing you into a quest line path
The only ones you can defy are Mehrunes Dagon (you can refuse to kill the Silus guy, which is very Christ-like), teeeechnically speaking Clavicus Vile (only technically because he wants you to kill a dog and Jesus would never do that, but you end up bound to him with the mask), and Azura (if you defile her star and make it absorb only human souls, which is very satanic and Jesus would never do that)
What Jesus should have in this run: 1. Ahzidal boots of waterwalking 2. Dead Thrall 3. Harmony spell 4. Transmutation mod, so instead of transforming minerals, he can transform water into wine 5. Mod to enable 12 followers at a time 6. Turn undead spell 7. Console ~tgm always activated unless you were attacked by Imperial soldiers cause they are basically roman soldiers 8. Ability to duplicate bread and fishes 9. Three in game days respawn time upon death
So you missed a few of Jesus' powers in this playthrough that would have been helpful Transmutation: Jesus turned water into wine, and was once tempted by Satan to turn stone into bread (implying he could do it but didn't), which could open the entire Alteration tree. If you look in the old testament Jesus was also able to have immunity to fire (whether or not that character is Jesus depends entirely on a Christian interpretation, however to acknowledge Jesus as having powers you kind of have to). Stealth/Illusion: There are Jesus' stealth powers too, since he was able to turn completely invisible and escape a mob. This not only opens the Stealth tree but the Illusion tree as well. Jesus being able to blind Paul, and influence the minds of fish should allow for use of spells like calm and courage to be used. Lockpicking: This should actually be fine, because Jesus did enter a locked room when his disciples were in hiding after his death. Required Gear: Then we have Jesus walking on water. In the Dragon Born DLC there are boots which allow water walking, these are a must have since it's one of his most iconic powers. Shouts: Using the shout to calm storms is another super important shout, since Jesus actually does this at one point. Kyne's peace also falls in line with his animal control powers. Disarm is a must too, as he was able to make Peter put away his sword just by telling him to. Then there is an apocryphal text known as "Pseudo Mathew." This text is basically just the book of Mathew with a few extensions on the life of young Jesus. The most controversial part of this tale is a scene in which the young Jesus wanders into a cave (already Skyrim esque), where he encounters not one but two dragons, and causes them to bow before him. All this to say command dragon, dragon rend, and summon Odaviing are a MUST with this story in mind. Restrictions: Then there's the fact Jesus forbade his followers from using swords. The disciples were allowed to use the same powers as Jesus, but never a sword. RP suggestions: So Jesus wasn't just the son of God, but son of the local God in Israel, a God who's worshipers were under the heel of a foreign Empire. You can go two ways here. Either RP Jesus as the son of Akatosh (the Dragonborn is his son after all) or as son of Talos. This opens up the ability to join up with groups like the Greybeards and actually completing the main quest. As Son of Akatosh you have the ability to worship at Akatosh's shrine and wearing his amulets to get 25% magicka regen. However if you want to go son of Talos then you can get the shout reduction as well as the shrine of Talos quests. Jesus being there to teach the true nature of Talos to his followers works on an RP way because we know that the Romans beheaded John the baptist for his preaching, which fits with how the empire beheads a Talos worshiper when you enter Solitude. The religion being persecuted by the Empire actually gives son good RP benefits too, since it ties you to the Nord struggle for Talos, and all the persecution. Jesus being a religious martyr knows a thing or two about being martyred over a non state approved religion. Good video though, not hating, possibly some ideas if you revisit the concept that's all.

This means while he generally preferred to do things the diplomatic way, he had no moral compunctions about throwing the fuck down when the situation called for it, as evidenced by his driving of the moneylenders from the Temple. Further, there's even a verse where he tells his followers to arm themselves.

I love the Carpentry “Lore Reasons” mention. I don’t think a lot of people realize that Joseph was a Carpenter, and the Family made money through Carpentry. As a kid, Jesus learned how to be a Carpenter. Nice touch.
For grinding restoration, turn undead is way faster than healing. Still slow, but faster. You still get xp if you cast it on an already turned undead, and there's easy access weak undead in the halls of the dead in a few holds
I’ve never understood why people would claim, with vanilla Skyrim, that console commanding a skill to max level is invalid when you can just spend an hour holding a button for the same result. Unless it’s a speed run, fuck off, I’m an adult, I’m not exploiting a game for 2 hours when the same thing can be achieved in 5 seconds.
Honestly I totally agree. I think combat skills should be upgraded through use, but something like illusion or restoration is just a huge grind, and I've done that grind enough times, haha. Thanks for watching!
I like this, it would fit well into the theory that Fallout and Elder Scrolls are Connected universes, Fallout world deteriorated and went a back into a dark age when technology was completly forgotten by everyone, and then because of that, Everybody forgot about Christianity, so as promised, the Second Coming of Christ happened to remind people of God's law and the Gospel.
I did this with Fallout 3 once, but I called mine "Kung Fu Jesus." The idea was that he could not do anything that would earn him "Bad Karma," neither could he ever tell a lie. He used hand to hand fighting because, in my head canon, that meant he was just putting those enemies to sleep, not actually killing them. I tried it in Fallout New Vegas as well, but discovered that you cannot complete the main quest, no matter which path you take, without doing something to earn bad karma.
Quite easy. “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and one’s foes will be members of one’s own household” (Matthew 10:34-36).
Fun fact: Jesus was in no way a pacifist not even in a self-defense only kind of way He had many times in the Bible used Violence to get what he and his followers wanted In fact one of his famous scriptures end with “I did not bring peace but a sword”
I think Molag Bals quest fails this challenge not just because you had to kill the guy and make him submit to Molag Bal but also because you can’t actually defeat him.

@@gidzgud absolutely! Good video! Subscribed
Better - XIAOLIN MONK.
@@jakubstasiak7358 I mean, Shaolin Monks essentially believe in Buddhism (Chan Buddhism to be specific)
I once beat the game as “Reverse Jesus”. Instead of walking in water, I swam on land. Swam all the way to High Hrothgar!
Swimming on land, genius!
@@gidzgud I highly recommend it! Just go to some water, pop on the Boots of Ahzidal, and paralyze yourself. Then you can swim anywhere!
Very underrated name you had there.
Thanks, glad you noticed!
Someone else mentioned this too! I've never tried it, but I definitely will now, thanks!
WE GOING GO HEAVEN WITH THAT ONE 🗣🔥🔥🔥
I hadn't thought that far ahead, but it definitely makes sense, haha.
I rewatched this 2x the commentary is just amazing..
False gods and lore reasons
The moment you helped the false gods
"Lore reasons" 💀 Brother is an Aslume escapee💀
Fun fact: Jesus was in no way a pacifist not even in a self-defense only kind of way
He had many times in the Bible used Violence to get what he and his followers wanted
In fact one of his famous scriptures end with “I did not bring peace but a sword”
Healing yourself isn't the best way to grind your restoration. It's turning a bunch of undead with an AoE spell repeatedly.
I think Molag Bals quest fails this challenge not just because you had to kill the guy and make him submit to Molag Bal but also because you can’t actually defeat him.
You should have added a mod to have yourself as a follower to sacrife for boethiah's artifact
And then waiting 3 full days before continuing the game, for lore reasons... 😂
oh dang, Jesus forgot wich world he was supposed to be going to and went to Tamriel by accident! O_O
After the video he went to solitude and got crucified by general Tullius..... For lore reasons
Great video, love it! ❤
Ngl, a little bit of me hoped when you hit that issue with boethiah you would download the jesus follower mod so you could sacrifice yourself 😂😂
That's a great idea actually! Would have solved that issue for me. Thanks for watching!
Glad to see you back! And merry Christmas! :)
Thank you! Glad to be back. Merry Christmas to you!
Dark Elf would be the most accurate culturally speaking.
Next do "Can You Beat Skyrim as Buddha" and have fun not hurting even demons
"Can you beat Skyrim as ___?"
...
"No."
End main video, cue thirty minute remix of _Chipi chipi_ song
You cannot defy like half of the deadric princes/princesses, so ''going down'' isn't really possible, I think jesus wouldn't have done any of these quests at all. At least that's what I was thinking when you dropped all of the artifacts in the river. Noice.
Skyrim is for the Lord?
So true.
@@tonyblack4833 please keep your comments kind, it's a lighthearted video not meant to be serious at all. If you are rude to my viewers I'll delete your comments, I don't tolerate that.
good video dude, for lore reasons.
10:25 "Technically he comes back to life, so this isnt killing..."
🤣😅😄
I think I'm gonna give this video a like. You know, for lore reasons.
This is oner of the best and !most thought out walkthrough's I have watched and i have watched a plethora of them! Great Job!
Wow, thank you! That means a lot. :)
Jesus Christ is the Lord of the universe of course he always wins
Somewhat flexible Jesus plays Skyrim
Well done 🙏🏽
I decided to play the game not doing anything I wouldn’t do in real life, which is not doing anything Christ would t be proud of. I haven’t served any demon, i mean deadra, prayed in their alters, killed anyone who wasn’t relentlessly pursuing and attacking me, stolen anything, decimated any graves (burial urns for gold and jewels) used magic spells. It’s really inhanced the game play
You should've brought the star to nelecar, to give a middle finger to the false god Azura
Lisen, imma turn the other cheek but yall better have those bows out...
this is by far the best thing ive seen this year honestly impressed beyond words
Dragon should count as non-kill because they are sentient beings in this game couldn't help myself I had to say it 🤣
I can definitely see the argument for that, but also consider: they're annoying. ;)
@@gidzgud true
Play Skyrim as Muhammad
An eliminate all the false prophets and the clear a holy war on all people to worship the first and that don't worship the one single God
Interesting idea, I would need to do a lot of research as to the rules, I'm not super familiar with him. Thanks for watching!
It would be the exact same rules. It would be redundant to just repeat this run.
Thank you for answering one of life’s greatest mysteries.
Its an honor.
I am as the name was just perfect, Ave Christus Rex brother haha
“Can you beat Skyrim as Jesus?”
Sure! **tgm**
Rip mittensquad
I mean I might have to resurrect a few times but sure.....
restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic😊
I like how your name is “I AM”. Nice touch
“For the grace for the might of our lord for the home of the holy”-sabaton the last stand
If this was the real jesus I would be the biggest believer ever
Should've added a whip... *For lore reasons.*
This is the best version of the teaches of Jesus 🙏🙏
