@@danielv8154 I was high af on a fishing trip in the baking sun last year and sundown syndrome staring playing on this random playlist we had going. It's amazing how quickly and how much I've fallen in love with an artist. Never happened like this before and probably never will again.
Mine was Apocalypse Dreams and boy did I fall in love, the climax still hasn't got old for me, though it doesn't nearly blow me away as it used to. Going on five years since I was seventeen, now I am twenty two living the adult life and still come to Kevin's Discography every now In then, I have been now though moreso considering The Slow Rush coming out and all. Also my step sister claims she quote on quote showed me Tame Impala and it was Elephant, but honestly I don't recall it whatsoever, far as I know I came across it myself from watching one of Faze Bloo' montage videos.
The lyrics “I know it’s mad, I understand. It’s only snakes and ladders” always make me feel some sort of way.

It really brings me back to last year when I was in year 12 and I was having the best time, but in that moment I didn't even realise it because I was worrying about everything. And it didnt hit me that I'd never experience times like these again cause I'd be moving away and I wouldn't see my friends anymore since we all lived really close and saw each other at school everyday, and there would be no more house parties since everyone just goes clubbing now, or late night seshes at the park. I remember trying to spray ourselves with strong perfume to hide the weed, and lying to my mum if my whereabouts the previous night. Now I've moved away and everything seems so distant in my memory. I miss living close in the neighborhood and doing dumb shit with my friends. I never realised how much I had and I should have spent less time being afraid of the future and worrying and should have just appreciated what I had. Sorry that was a bit of a tangent LOL

STORY TIME: I heard of them before for a little while, never listened to them until last year in march. Heard they were coming to my town St Augustine, FL 3 days before tickets went on sale, decided to listen to some stuff, was instantly hooked, then listened to literally everything within that 3 days, told my girlfriend that i want to go, and that I have a good feeling about going. We got tickets on sale morning, they sold out in an hour! And tbh, I'll never regret not taking those 3 days to listen to everything they've done, because there isn't a day since that I have gone without listening to them, and i listen to this new album every day since release I can't get enough of them. I can't wait to see them again this year I'll always try and see them every chance I get from now on. I can gladly say they have become one of my most unexpected favorite artists in my life. Thank you if you actually read all of this I'm just so excited about this video and being alive at a time where Tame Impala exists!

Discovered Tame Impala just before going on a road trip last year. Listened to Let It Happen album ona loop while driving through Arizona and Utah in a RV. Now, everytime I hear a song from the album or Kaven’s music I remember the trip in the southwest of the US.

Beautiful performance! Had to listen twice to make sure it's not playback. But there are usually nuances to a (good) live performance that reach me on a deeper level than a studio recording and it's also the case with this one I feel.
