Tame Impala perform The Less I Know The Better on Later... with Jools Holland, BBC Two (31 May 2016) Видеоклипы
the star in this song is truly the bass
Yes, yes, yes, yes ,yes ;)
All the instruments
Gisela Swaragita or the dudes voice ..
all i see is 🅱ASS
Since I'm regularly told that Kevin Parker(?) is Tame Impala I'm assuming he writes all of the music parts?
I would cry if I saw this live
TheJohnnyFuckingMarr
Saw them live at End of The Road festival a few years ago.
And I can confirm that I did cry.
Well.. I did
yikes! Im going to see them in a few hours
I couldn't have expressed my feelings when I see this better
@@laurabosch6538 so, It was good?
"Giving into all his bullshit, is this what you want? Is this who you are?" God, I love those lines so much!
Prophecy.
Right? It's like the last thing we say to a former lover who hurt us
Tbh, I wanna say this to my ex so bad. LMAO
this is lyrically and musically brilliant.....its rare to find new music released these days that both has its own style and is genuinely well written
very well said!
No it's not. There are hundreds if not thousands of artists out there just as good. These guys just happened to become famous.
+SlowSlowSloth....hence why I said new music 'released'......Im referring to music that reaches the main demographic...ie on popular radio stations etc....when you look at other decades you had a wealth of good music placed straight on your lap...now you really have to look for it to find it
It's rare to hear these days indeed agreed,, but there's nothing particularly unique about their sound. There are lots of bands that sound like Tame Impala
MGMT are first that come to mind, although they're shit
Couldn't have said it better myself
this is so 80's good vibe
Nope, 60's
Everything good now is "So 80's vibe" LOL
Gui Oliver cuz the 80's were perfect. It was the best year for music.
@@dragonballteoriasymas6791 first of all, "the 80s" is not a year. It's a decade. Next to that, I absolutely despise the 80s. I get why people like it but to my the 70s and 60s were way better. The 80s were way too poppy, formulaic and generic.
Paul van Maldegem I didn't refered to the 80's like a year, I just said a fact, that decade had the best music with the best lyrics, and music was still an art. Nowadays you can hear music in the radio, Spotify and Apple Music with lyrics that just includes sex, drugs, alcohol, and scheuvenism.
jesus with a guitar
john ebags literally and figuratively
john frusciante holds that title already
John Frusciante is the first guitar jesus
no, you cant be a guitar jesus without coming up with a style of your own and he didnt
Of course he did, John's guitare playing style is unique you can't argue with that.
Bassline!
3000
4000
6000
7000
8000
This bass line is like the person everyone has a crush on.
Edit: why does this have like 180 likes what the thank you all
This is so accurate, wth
Thanking people for RUclips likes is one of the most cringey things you can do.
@@yesno9834 lol dude everyone does this and I just kinda didn't know it got so many (like it's not really that many, but it's just a lot for me)
@@greenteadude8958
Not everyone does it, and even if they did, it doesn’t make it any less cringey.
✌🏻😎
@@yesno9834 why would you even tell me this dude I was just genuinely surprised by the amount of likes
Anthem of “you wouldn’t t understand my music taste, it’s too different”
ceo of "im not like other girls"
@@itzkamzi i dont like to be accosiated with them but this is a bop amd i refuse to think differant
Head of Poser
It s not a BAND guys, almost every piece of the songs are written solely by Kevin Parker, the rest of the people you see there are just his tour members to help him play the whole song.
Er.... ok. Great music though....
I think we have different concepts of what a band is
@@matiasmiranda446 Kevin did composed all songs of this album
Not almost. All of them were written and recorded by him. He played all the Instruments on the album. You can look it up. The band is just for touring
The band is a great pyschedelic rock band named Pond
Just don't make me wait forever -
That was devastating.
No, the devastating bit would be finding that she's been keeping Trevor's sausage warm. You can wait for the love of your life, it's the knowledge that she's waxing someone else's carrot that causes pain. Odd the connection we have with sex, making us possessive and sentimental.
Help I'm addicted to this song.
Me too! And hey, our names match too! 🤗
Same
You're not alone bro
The only problem with this song is that it ends.
Ikr
It's so good that it needs to. Listening to it for too long throws oneself into a deep abyss.
Someone said they left together, I ran out the door to get her
She was holding hands with Trevor, not the greatest feeling ever
Said, "Pull yourself together, you should try your luck with Heather"
Then I heard they slept together, oh, the less I know the better
The less I know the better
[Chorus 1]
Oh my love, can't you see yourself by my side?
No surprise when you're on his shoulder like every night
Oh my love, can't you see that you're on my mind
Don't suppose we could convince your lover to change his mind
So goodbye
[Verse 2]
She said, "It's not now or never, wait ten years, we'll be together"
I said, "Better late than never, just don't make me wait forever"
Don't make me wait forever
Don't make me wait forever
[Chorus 2]
Oh my love, can't you see that you’re on my mind?
I don't suppose you could convince your lover to change his mind
[Outro]
I was doing fine without ya till I saw your face, now I can't erase
Giving in to all his bullshit, is this what you want? Is this who you are?
I was doing fine without ya till I saw your eyes turn away from mine
Oh, sweet darling, where he wants you, said, "Come on, Superman, say your stupid line"
Said, "Come on, Superman, say your stupid line"
Said, "Come on, Superman, say your stupid line"
"I was doing fine without ya till I saw your eyes turn away from mine"
ouch. Fucking great line.
There aren’t many artists who are heavily inspired by the Beatles that end up sounding good as well as modernising the sound in their own way but this guy definitely gets away with it. Pure talent with great inspiration
well said. first time i heard inner speaker i got white album vibes... but they took that concept and like turned it to a 100
"Not the greatest feeling ever" love the understated way in which he brings that line.
Jesus on guitar
Luke Skywalker on keyboards
Krist Novoselic on bass
And I didn’t know Jeff Lynne played drums
Jeff Lynne without glasses :(
Stewie griffin on vocals
Young David Gilmour on the other guitar
Sounds like great idea for the animation film
Lindsey Buckingham on drums surely
Luke skywalker on the keyboard.
Jesus on Guitar.. No wonder this Band is so fucking tight hahaha
Jesus and Luke in the same band
normally I see these 'Luke on this...' comments when it's just a blonde guy, but this guy actually really looks like Luke!! good spot hahaha
😂😂😂
Jajaja true
I love his voice so much. It's very cool and tender. All the members of this band plays well too
They're all brilliant musicians too! They can all sing, play guitar, bass. Drums and the keys!
2:35 I love this part! Somehow it triggers a weird nostalgic feeling!
Love
This part makes me well up 😢❤
The chord progression changes slightly and the whole mood changes. Kevin is a genius.
También me paso lo mismo en ese tiempo de la canción. Genera algún sentimiento extraño y melancolía a la vez.
@@EderFlores3000 IKR!
The bass line is simple yet magnificent
Did he swallow the cd
Hhahahhahaha
XD
Lol no this sounds better
2:19 Accidental phaser on his voice lol
Still nice though....awesome performance
bassist messed it up at the same time or it was the phaser, don't kno
I thought it was a flanger
@@pottergeist Yeah think bass messed up too
Kevin's reaction hahaha
kev with shoes
BBC ... OH&S
Seriously? that is so retarded he uses his toes to adjust knobs, although maybe he just doesn't need to on a one song performance
Kevin shoeslds
Damn, this is the first time I see this band playing live and, well, I expected something weak because I assumed that they rely on sound engineering a lot. But this is great!
It's not a band bro....the lead vocalist ,Kevin Parker produces writes all the songs ....the rest just help him play it on tour. It is a one man band if I may. It's just the genius of Kevin Parker
Ya the albums are just Kevin Parker playing all the instruments. I agree it's not even really a 'band' live in the traditional rock sense, since the other musicians have no personal input into what they're playing. Any more than Michael Jackson's session musicians were a band.
It's playback dude, chill
The part were he says "oh my love " is so ethereal and sublime
This is great, thank u for blessing my ears Kevin!
lol.
Ok
It sounds futuristic. A very unique style somehow, woow.
His Voice doesn't change... It becomes more incredible every month and that bass makes me vibrate. ❤
This bass riff is what I live for.
HOW did they not win 458698 grammys already jeez
Isy Mabel Cos I guess people are too busy listening to Stormzy and that bs...
good music doesn't win trophys
this reminds me of last summer so much, i would play this on repeat until 4am with the windows open, i would sing this in the car at full volume, and i would dance on the hotel beds with my bestfriend, honestly a song that has changed my life.
am glad that you had fun xx
This takes you to a different place
i really hope their next album gets a bit more psychedelic progressive than pop progressive. Although I like the pop sound to Kevin's music right now, I do miss elements of the real trippiness captured so well in Lonerism.
exactly!
I think this is exactly what's happening with Arctic monkeys, but instead in reverse. Most people like their old pop-rock style compared to the more slow tempo style they released recently. I don't really mind either Kevin's or Alex's new style, but i do miss their old works.
Well the next logical step is to have a glitchy style of production. I would still love them to combine the Lonerism sound and the Currents sound. I think that'd be cool as shit.
Well , Mark Ronson Going to produce the next Tame Impala Album ...So Don't Expect Too much psychedelic 😳
Daniel Garcia kevin produces all tame impala music, but mark and him are yet to release something new together
This is one of the songs that makes me to still have hope in rock music today.
I love the new way that Jesus uses to predict.
hahahahahahaha holy shit

Very talented and skilled. He sounds crisp as the recorded volume. God bless!!
incredible, and to think that the whole album was made by this boy, Kev!
instrumentation, arrangements, production, melody etc all a genius.
2:36 the best part

I think this is the first time I see Kevin wearing shoes😂
Wow That scalated quickly. Good for you if that is what you fancy, gurl

Just brilliant
What an absolute bop this is though live or not it sounds so good
Melhor música que existe
Very refreshing sound. Brilliant.
Just stumbled on these. They give out s really cool vibe, another album to download
I'm doing a "this type of song Playlist" so far I have this track, somebody else the 1975 and blinding lights the weeknd, I love that 80s cool vibe and incredible vocals
I probably wouldn't call it "vibe of the 80's", but I would still recommend the song "Crime" by Real Estate. I imagine that would have been the sound of The Beatles if they had put out a song today.
Found another amazing track added to the playlist... Midnight City M83 woah. Perfect addition to the playlist. Also, best of the suggestions definitely is, FOSTER THE PEOPLE - SIT NEXT TO ME. Keep the list going my beauties :)
Amo esse programa desde o ano 2000. Amo tame impala! Top!
Is beautiful this song, I love Tame Impala :)

Esse riff de baixo é sensacional
This song reminds me when I went on a trip with my husband to Jeriocoara/CE/BR. It was the song the used to play in my alarm clock, invinting us to a wonderfull day. I miss Jeri s2
I haven't heard a bassline this hooky since Under Pressure!! Love It!!
