The album goes from great to boring very quickly after track 2 or 3
TomTom Club was a side project of Talking Heads' rhythm section
Rap was still very new, there was nothing like this except maybe Newcleus "Jam On It"

SHE WAS PLAYING THE BASS GUITAR AND SINGING THE STORY OF THIS SONG IS GREAT . THEY NEEDED TO CREATE A SONG VERY FAST FOR A FESTIVAL, AND THEY STARTED TO PUT WORDS TOGETHER RANDOMLY AND IT BECAME A HUGE SUCCESS.

Hi Asia and BJ. It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. I love this song and I bought it back in 1981. It still sounds great and relevant today. Words are important and can be very powerful. I know you have already reacted to their 'Genius of Love' song and you probably know their songs have been sampled a lot, not least by Maria Carey with 'Fantasy' and Mark Morrison with 'Return of The Mack'. Their version of Under the Boardwalk is excellent. The long on the original 12" version is best.
