I've been researching turning our shed into my office (I'm an author) and I think this is the best one I've seen so far! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Love your space in there! I had a hard time concentrating on what you were saying because of the music, but loved watching. That is about the size i want for fulltime living tiny house:)
I think your “she shed” is wonderful. You have a place for everything even a spare bedroom…I have only one preference (must have)…otherwise the “spare” bedroom is of very little use. you much still be “young” because, as I have aged (68yo) one of the most important things in a separate space like this is running water for a flush toilet or just a composting toilet…I could not imagine needing to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and having to climb down the stairs…and either go into the building next door or in the house, or clean up a mess because I couldn’t make it in time….A bathroom (if only consisting of a toilet and sink) or a full bathroom with a shower would be a total must for me. Could be added on the back with the deck…
Lovely! I have a huge two story shed that was built a few years ago. I have held off doing work on the inside because of the costs of lumber and a lot of other building material. You and your husband did a great job!
Excellent office shed/guest place. Love how it us organized and has different areas. I would turn the music down during your narration. It was quite distracting because of the volume. But love your soothing voice! Great job!
Hi hot mess I guess it depends where you are. I’m in Ontario Canada and vista are much more than I thought for a 10x16 Foam Insulation $2700 you could do fibreglass insulation much cheaper but more work. With vapour barrier, gable and soffit vents, baffles. Electrical $2700 But it depends how much power you need and how far you have to trench. These were a lot more than I had anticipated. Hth
Your oasis looks so cozy and beautiful. Y’all really did a good job with it. Where did you find/buy your lounger? I’ve been looking for something like that forever and can’t seem to find one like that. The ones I find are a little small and don’t look or feel comfortable! Enjoy your beautiful space and god bless
That looks much bigger than my shed and mine is 16x26. I don’t have lofts though. I wish I were handy. I have to pay everyone. Lol. This is such an inspiration. Did you insulate the ceiling and floor? Mine is but couldn’t put r30 in the ceiling because of 2x4 shed construction and couldn’t put thick enough in the floor either because there’s no way to get underneath the shed. My shed is as far as sheet rocked. In 2 weeks the interior will be painted and flooring put down. Thank you for making this video!
I am in the process of doing an actual home shed, which I bought at a shed lot. It's the same as the Home Depot sheds but bigger. I paid $20,000 for a 16x36 foot shed with two lofts (one loft has a set of stairs, the other has a ladder), two doors (one regular door and one set of French doors) and 8 windows. It cost an additional $3K for electrical (that's connecting to the main house line, but I have my own electric meter), $8K for plumbing, and 10K for the concrete slab they put it on. Then there's flooring, insulation, drywall, counters, cabinets etc. I am expecting it to cost about $60K total, which is pretty good for a nice home. It has a 50 year warranty, but I have spoken to the people who build the sheds and they say they are built to the same standards as permanent homes. They said as long as you maintain everything and replace the roof and siding as needed, it will basically last indefinitely, just like a regular home.
wow I thought it was gonna be small but far from it. you have so much space , I love the way you decorated
I thought it was a cubby house until you opened it up. Love those pretty pink doors and chandelier. I could live here it's so lovely.

Thank you so much!! I found it at Home Goods like 7 years ago.
Nice how much cost to build a studio like yours
Very nice. Why didn't you add a bathroom to keep you from having to run to the house to go 😁😁💜💜
That is in the works. I needed the space to use immediately and that was not in the initial budget.
do you have an update on your shed?
This is so beautiful 🥹
Thank you.
I can't hear what's being said over the music
How many sq feet is this shed and how many would it be to also do the entire top floor while adding enough roof space to walk around normally
10'x24'. Our top is more of a crawl and sit type of space. To walk around normally, you would need a two story shed.

Your shed is spacious & fabulous! That "background" music was dreadful, way too loud, & nearly ruined the whole thing!!

So I love this 💕 Is this a shed you can purchase at Home depot? What was your final cost?
I am in the process of doing an actual home shed, which I bought at a shed lot. It's the same as the Home Depot sheds but bigger. I paid $6500 for the base of the shed. After everything I did, I spent like $14K total.
That music was overpowering the video.
Music so loud sad can not really hear you.
I dont understand why she is put in front of the word shed whatever way you slice it its still a shed
@w.harwood3914
Music was louder than your description.
The music is annoying... please show the loft area
Gorgeous!
Thank you.
