Woodturning -Keep It Simple Stupid - Earbud Holder
Pretty simple project this week. I still have some of this mystery wood and decided to make a small Earbud Holder/ Pen Holder.
I ended up with a split in the side but was able to fix it with some CA glue and accelerator. Overall it turned out OK in a more subdued kind of way but it certainly isn't my favourite piece of late.
The eagle eyed among you may notice I didn't true up the opening until quite late. My original thought was that the opening/lip would stay at an angle but I later decided that it wouldn't really look quite right so fixed it up.
Tell me what you think! Would you like to see more of these kind of pieces or the more intricate wood/burl/resin?
