- Turning free pallets into cash. In this woodturning video I am using pallet wood to make craft show projects. The pallets are free and there is a lot of good wood to use for craft projects. This wood turning project is a vase that sells at craft shows. This vase sells for $15.00 at the craft fair.
I hope you enjoy the video and you get some great ideas for wood craft projects.
Thanks for watching!

I like the way you drill, I do it by pushing the tailstock back and forth too.
It's a quick and easy way to do it as long as the drill bit is sharp.
At 1:25. That is some strong hands. LOL
Ya, I had to work out for a month for that seen. 😜
Excellent work. There's a beautiful shape to the vase, as with all of your pieces.
Thank you! I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
As an HIC, I always have scrap cut offs. Another great idea, thank you!!!
Thanks for watching!
Another lovely shiny vase. Have a great weekend 🌞
Thank you! You too!
Great video… I love pallets and really like wood turning. I’ve been watching a lot of your older videos lately and figured that since this was a new one I should comment. Got out of it for a while but am thinking of starting back up. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! It's nice to meet you! Glad your enjoying the videos!
Thanks for watching!
Nice project like the grain thanks for every turning & future ones. I enjoy learning
Thank you! I appreciate your support!
That looked more like sections of deckboard than a pallet slat. I made a new floating constellation of tea lights. It overcomes the issue of not all of them floating level and upright. Works pretty good.
That sounds pretty cool. You could send a picture to my email. These boards came from a pallet used to transport large 40 hp electric motors. Don't know why they rounded the edges for a pallet. They are nice boards though.
Nice effect , thanks for the idea .
Sure, thanks for watching!
Always enjoy your YT videos. However, I was on a woodworking forum that addressed the use of pallet wood. A retired truck driver said to avoid pallets as he had seen over the years, all kinds of things spilled on them. One never knows what chemicals are present int he wood. My wife, at the time, was pondering some projects with pallet wood.
That's a good point. I always check the pallets. A lot of times you can see stains on the wood if stuff was spilled. I always look for clean one's.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Interesting concept The wood is unusual,. Well done !
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
Another fine project 👍✌️
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!
Keep them coming buddy. What I would say is that pallet wood in your part of the world looks to me to be of so much better quality than ours here in Scotland & the UK in general. 👍🏴
Thank you! There is a lot of junk pallets here to. Just have to look around.
Boy I like that. Nice work
@@WreckerWarsdotcom Thank you! I'm glad you like it! Appreciate you watching!
