About 20 years ago I met a British guy at a bar, he was a snooker pool player, and I was an 8 and 9 ball pool player. I played him a few games and taught him 8 and 9 ball, then we were friends. He came to America from Sheffield England to work for one summer, then he met a sexy blonde and married her, and he liked America so much he stayed here. And he is still in America today. So it is not unusual for people to come to America for a short time, then move here and stay here the rest of their lives.
I lived in the US for a few years, got a Green Card, then became a Citizen in the process made a load of amazing friends, Americans are on the whole open, welcoming and have your back. Your accents really help of course, being a Brit in the US is a bit like a tiny super power. I am back in the UK now and pretty settled but who knows where I will end up. Your comment about it looking like a movie set was funny, Americans driving through any of the nicer parts of England would say exactly the same thing :-) The grass is always greener, but you should experience it for yourself of course, i know a good US Immigration firm in London if you need a referral, as a business owner and entrepreneur you would have a chance.
I agree, as an American who would love to visit England, I will probably cry when I see your picturesque classic towns. I’m just a little worried that you might hate Americans, which is intimidating.
When I saw that you guys were in San Saba and then in Lometa I was so excited because and that’s a little over 50 miles from where I live! Welcome to our lovely state of Texas! Love you two!
America welcomes you and encourages you to continue to join in on our incredible culture, work ethic, appreciation of nature and wildlife and our ability to rise up again and again and never surrender. God bless America and this amazing family as they find the real beauty of the USA!(:🇺🇸 proud Texan here 🤘🏼
If you want to really lust after the old West, watch Chisum, Rio bravo, El dorado, The sons of Katie elder, war wagon... Pretty much any john Wayne movie will bring you back to the settling of those amazing towns.
Getting sudden flashbacks. Probably made the drive out there and back to Austin a couple hundred times, and then all around West Texas all day every day for years. It's definitely different out there in the country.
Always seen you as quite american. With the crossfit reporting, the love of american sports, food and music. As much as im sure you have so many ties to England, from your videos thats where id always seen you.
I got so tired of it I actually got a small airplane and was trying to get a license just to fly back and forth. We finally got rid of almost everything and we aren't doing it ever again. Half of the drive there wasn't, and probably still isn't cell service.
The state of decay of town centres in the UK is atrocious, has accelerated hugely in the last few years. Of course some towns have a niche and are still nice and vibrant but most are suffering.
I was under the impression that ranches had to have mandatory playgrounds like dirt tracks for motocross. Trails for Razors. Home made slip and bleed. Pool and a big hangar for trucks and toys
Wow what a gorgeous landscape. 🤮 LOL Okay all joking aside, you two should come to the Pacific Northwest (Seattle or Oregon). Preferably in the summer. You'd love it here better than Texas.
He’s in a part of Texas that is flatter with more shrubbery. Texas is larger than Germany and is diverse in landscape. That said, as someone who used to live in the PNW I wholeheartedly agree that it’s worth traveling and exploring. I’ve tramped across Oregon Washington Alberta and British Columbia. Next is Alaska. California is my favorite though, it’s a shame it’s so prohibitively expensive
My uncle and aunt live in the US, I’ve visited a few times. Definitely felt safer in the uk, maybe because I live in the country. The fact that there’s 1.2 civilian owned guns for every person living in America is a crazy stat to me. We have some knife crime in the uk and the occasional armed robbery, but if there’s a road rage incident or disagreement I don’t have to worry about someone pulling out a gun and shooting me.
I moved to America in 1970 and have never seen a crime or any type of violence and I've traveled all over the country. I live in a small city and don't lock my doors or car and my windows are open from April to October.
One of our countries founding beliefs is that every citizen reserves the right to own firearms in the need to overthrow a tyrannical government. I could see how not growing up around that can be different.
We moved to the US when I was 12, through my dad's work transfer. If I can be grateful to my parents for one thing, it's that they brought the family here, because from what I hear there is an 11 year waiting list for an immigration visa. The US issues a million immigration visas a year but 600,000 are to Latin American countries.

We generational Texans don't mind when people move here, our only rule is keep it how you found it 💯
Hell yea! I was born and raised in DFW. Wouldnt want to move anywhere else.
The sign on the school kn San Saba alerts visitors that their teachers are armed. Welcome to Texas!
Bugs on the windshield are an indicator of a healthy ecology . So sad that small towns are dying all over . I saw the same thing in Spain and Italy .

Come to Florida! Britain never should’ve given us up in the first place
Freedom is America. Or at least we try to keep it that way. It was awful close to getting lost there for a minute
MAGA!!!
Senseless prattle!
Where? How?
Pekin is more a type of duck dish that takes 24 hours to prepare. The nut (drupe actually) is something else entirely. 😁😁😁
Pecan is pronounced "puh-KHAN"
Ok this must be new or i just never noticed but at 3:26 he talks about smashing the like button and it lit up around it... Lol the little things.
Craig, you are no Benny Hill or Two Ronnie's, but I did have a chuckle at the voiceover. Enjoyed the video.
Stay in the UK. You two are awesome! #legends

Huhhh. I always thought it was a made-up place ... that is, the home of the San Saba Songbird, the Herald of Demise, aka the Runt from Reata Pass.
The voice off is something epic. Legends 😅❤
Go to a football game!
Nice video!
Don't confuse Texas with the rest of America 😅
❤
Texas suits y’all 🤘🏽

You guys are the texans the Cowboys from England!;) . You 2 need to move to the Best country in the world USA!❤❤❤ and get it done!!!
I dread the drive to Midland every time I go out there

Baton Rouge to McCamey every week. 11 hours
That's Texas. I'll leave it at that.
What?
@@hashbrown4278he thinks Texas is the only great state in the union probably
Small towns are dying across America, unlike in the UK where a small town can be charming.
You obviously haven't spent much time in the u. K. There's a ton of run down towns with nothing but pound shops and closed businesses.
@@1DragonistI spent four months working in Halifax and visiting the surrounding cities, but that was 10 years ago…
Nah Craig has been introduced to shootin guns. No turnin back now

@@UnlikelyExplanationit's all a globalist plan playing out. Move everyone closer into more densely packed cities.
Moving ?!? Bring the Doggos 🐶

I heard of a town who had a restaurant named Koffee Kup Kafe (notice what letter each word starts with and how many) I'll just leave it at that.
Welcome to God’s country.
Enjoy the sunshine and freedom!
too much tongue...
Welcome to America where we pay UK prices and UK sizes coming real soon
I have driven through TX once, it sucked. One of the most boring drives I ever had.
Wow what a gorgeous landscape. 🤮 LOL
Okay all joking aside, you two should come to the Pacific Northwest (Seattle or Oregon). Preferably in the summer. You'd love it here better than Texas.
Texas is the bomb…
Nah too liberal. Craig wants to shoot guns as he pleases
The PNW is miserable on the coast throughout the winter though

Most people's guns are at home in safes. But most people feel safer in familiar environments
Just a good old fashioned knifing...😮😮
Not many actually carry on their person. Usually they are for home defense.

Must be nice to have enough money to ride a stationary bike on a Ranch in the middle of the day
I wish we couid move to the usa but seems like so much hard work fir a legal immigrant with no criminal record and from a civilised country 😐

If Trump wins come on over! If not stay
100%
It appears we don’t need immigrants that includes Europeans.
Comes to CA. So much prettier than Texas
Way to woke there
Wait until Trump gets in the office next year. America will become the greatest country in the world again.
Absolutely!!!❤
